I am a Filipina maried to a German Doctor. We enjoy eating all foods but all in moderation. So far our blood test are all normal. Thanks God.
Good for you and all those who really know "moderation". Most people tend to overeat because they fall into "sugar addiction" and cravings get out of hand. We advocate this lifestyle because this has helped us with our own "sugar/carbs addiction" and we are in full control now, not the other way around. Thank you and God bless!

dra good morning, my mother has been eating rice, bread for more than
95 years. at 100 she is still walking. Her brains are functioning very well, clear eyes, speaks well. She died
at 101 years and 3 months. at 101 yrs and 2 1/2 months she starts to gradually taking small portion of rice and bread, after 7 days she stops eating. After another 7 days she died. Her mother died at 106 years
eating rice and bread as well.
In her generation, sugary and highly processed foods and oils are not yet abundant, unlike these times. Does she overeat? If not, that's one of the reasons too :)
I think that is true it could be in the genes I took care of elderly here in US they eat bread potatoes rice they even smoke lots of juices they diabetic with insulin the oldest of them Grandma Reva died in her sleep at age 96

Balance diet is better ang katawan nangangailangan din nang sugar pag mababa ang sugar mo delikado din pakakainin ka nga nang dalawang kotsaritang asukal para bumalik yong sugar mo nakakalito itong mga doktor may iba againts sa uminom nang maraminfg tubig yong ibang doktor mas maganda maraming tubig more than 8 glasses.

Na diagnosed ako last August ng diabetes. Kumain lng ako ng okra png ulam at ang sabaw ng okra ay bale kape ko. In just two weeks bumaba ang sugar ko. Monitored ako within 3 months. Pg continuous ng normal ippatigil n ang meds control n lng s pgkain. Self-discipline lng sa diet. Thanks God!
My uncle do that okra everyday soak at night n drink the water in the morning he refused to drink metformin tab n insulin ..he died last year....sad....Me 27yrs with jergens tab n 3shots of insulin per day thnk God I'm still alive..I'm 65 yo now...so okra isn't really cure diabetes needs the help of med too...fr a nurse 35 y ago here in Vancouver Canada....thnks...

Maraming salamat Doc. ng marinig ko ang vlog mo at sinunod ko ang Safe, Caution and Danger Food list. Hindi na ako nag meryenda dahil after 6 hours mula ng Low Carb Meal feeling mo busog ka pa rin. Hindi tulad dati na pag may rice at iba pang startcy and seet fruits ay after 3 hours ay gutom na uli. Thanks a lot and God bless us all.

Doc maraming salamat po sa mga informations, sinonod kung lahat ang video mo and im happy now because my blood sugar is normal now. I have been a diabetic since 1999 for 25 years hindi bumaba ang aking blood sugar kahit nag dieta ako nag exercise ako but now since i follow your advice no carb at all for only 2 days my blood sugar is normal its only 5, its hard to believe but it is reality. I was thinking that i will not heal anymore as what mostly I heard from many people that diabetes is forever but they all mistaken. I almost cry to see my result that my blood sugar is normal because i wish this for 25years already.

I think the appropriate word to use instead of" Itapon" (throw away) is either "limit" or "cut down". ( bawasan o iwasan).
You’re very true, kasi kung may diabetes ka masyado naman yung lahat ideprive ka na sa lahat ng pagkain. Yes the right word is ilimit or occassionally pwede pa ring kainin. Ok lang yung rice icut mo, mga potatoes pero pati ba sweetener kailangan mo na ring itapon?? Getting deprived for everything is stressful din.
Hindi nmn literal na ganun ang ibig nya sabihin. Gusto lng nya istress out na i-cut nyo sng cobsumption dun. At nasa inyo p rin ang desisyon kung sundin nyo o hindi.
Paano naman yung mga mahihirap na kanin lamang ang pantawid gutom nila.

Hello Dr Jo. Wala po sa family namin ang may diabetes. Maingat ako sa pagkain kaya di nko kumakain ng red meat taba ng pork at chicken skin. Since I was little till now di ako umiinom ng any soda. Last year na diagnosed ako na nag exceed sa borderline blood sugar ko! Naging comfort food ko ksi ang banana especially saba kaya ko 5pcs a day. Then palagi kain ko ng cereals oats at loaf bread. But then sinanay ko sarili ko to eat raw ampalaya carrots pipino. Matagal na din di ako kumakain ng any fried food. 68 yrs nko at may essential hypertension. Nsa lahi po nmin HB at dala na din daw ng stress from work nang nagtatrabaho pa ko. Losartan maintenance ko at recently metformin pero after 3mos I stopped dahil sa side effects nito nbasa ko sa Google or vlog ng ibang doctor. May nagbigay sa akin ng bignay or bugnay wine at iyon muna iniinom ko mag 1month na. Na Google ko din health benefits nito. Ask klang as a doctor yourself, if ano opinion nyo sa bignay or bugnay wine. Salamat at God bless us all.

i am on a lowcarb diet for 10 months now... am enjoying beautiful changes on my health... i dropped all my 8 diabetes meds after discarding all the garbage foods that i learned from DJGCRT... RICE BREAD PASTA ROOTCROPS FRUITS... i shifted to:EGGS MEAT WITH TABA LECHON KAWALI VEGGIES... ILOVE CHICKEN MEAT PORK BEEF CARABAO... i avoided processed foods... i only use COCONUT COOKING OIL IN FRYING... MAS MALAKAS NKO NGAYON NO PAIN OF ANY KIND... I EXERCISE AND EXPOSE TO SUNLIGHT FOR 20min daily... i only drink WATER 2LITERS ADAY... NO COLORED DRINK... I take some SALT... NO MORE MAINTENANCE MEDICINE AT MY 71 AGE... AM HAPPY AND GRATEFUL TO TAKE CARE OF THE BODY GOD GAVE ME... THANK YOU MUCH DR GRACE... YOU'RE GENIE IN DISGUISE... A GREAT HELP TO ALL HEALTHWISE!!!

Doc I hv diabetes for 27yrs now n my doctor here in Vancouver Canada required me to eat bananas in breakfast for potassium..daily maintenance jergens tab plus 3shots of insulin...those who comments itapon they literally criticize u...u mean avoid that foods right...BTW I substitute pearl barley for rice... I was a nurse 35yrs ago...now I'm 65yo my 3mo A1C still 7 to 7.9....too frustrating what's ur advice coz doctor here r not same advice... thnks n godbless...

Thanks you so much for all the videos.. i already lost 3.5kilos for 2months and 1week of following LCIF.. after 6months of LCIF magpapalab test na ako if talagang hindi na ako prediabetic kasi sa self checking ko before 120 to 130 minsan nag 147 pa.. but now after a month pa lang of LCIF its 83 to 97.. 😍

In my family we all these foods mentioned almost araw araw but in moderation, hindi mo kailangan itapun, hwag lang kumain ng marami. My family are all healthy

For me it is better to eat in moderation.. exercise daily for at least 20 to 30 mins a day.. more veggies less oil.. lessen artificial flavouring..
