Not stopped shooting mine since I got it last Friday. Excellent gun with great accuracy, very very quiet and looks superb. Getting 40 full power shots on 1 co2. 2cm groups at 25m. Must sleep soon...
So good that I have 2, one in .177 and the other .22. Excellent target pistols that make some of the fellow shooters, using €1500-2000 German top brands, left in the dust 🙂
For a pistol length barrel with 6ftlb, that is very impressive grouping. Not a pistol fan myself but it is a good looking unit. Love your reviews Andy - the weekend starts with your videos 😁
This breach, floating barrel and Co2 set up is brilliant for the money, regardless of the makers name on the side. Normally after a first shot like that it all goes downhill quick. So maybe using a x1 power, and not being to see how good it was, is the way to go. Good as always.
I've got both the PP800 and PP700 and have put stocks silencers and scopes on both, they are great, but I get the bit about popping a few CO2 cartridges in your pocket as opposed to carrying a diving bottle
Been to vector air twice to pick one of these up and both times ended up with a second hand rifle displayed in the shop, first being a bsa lightning xl se tactical complete with scope and silencer fir the same price as the pistol then second time got a Lee Enfield Sentry complete with scope and bipod for just £40 more than the pistol. So come next month I'll go for it for a third time but can't guarantee I'll walk out the shop with one as these second hand items are so sodding tempting. Brill review Andy. Note to all those who have retay blank guns in uk, they are now illegal to own and shops have discontinued the range. Lost my three replica rambo knives Zombie and now my retay 84fs, terrified they may start banning replica air guns next. 😠
There's nothing at all wrong with that grouping!! 👍👍 It does kind of remind me of a futuristic crosman 2240. 🤔 but excellent review as always Andy!! Pete (watching from Nova Scotia!) 🇨🇦
Looks a lot like the Artemis CP2 or Diana Chaser. Although those have a second, longer barrel. Perhaps the longer barrel could be an ft-lbs issue in the UK?
these guns are tuned via the transfer port anyways... the chaser pistol sold solo without the long barrel is tuned to reach close to the allowed 7.5J here in germany. if you were to attach the long barrel of the combi kit to it you would exceed the allowed limit. thats why the combi kit comes with a transfer port that is tuned for the long barrel to reach the allowed limit and thus is weaker in pistol mode.
Nice little carbine, but only short pistol barrel at £189. Cp2 better value £10 cheaper and kit comes with that extra long barrel too ! Also very accurate.
@@briandix216 thanks Brian. I've just had a look and it looks brilliant, more appealing than the Airforce One Trophy. How accurate is the Victory CP2 and would you recommend it? Thanks

I've owned a .22 cp2 in the past, was a good gun, definitely accurate, always had it with the long barrel on and scope etc for barn pigeons and rats. Power would drop off though after about 20 shots, not such an issue 10yds work but if your shooting at about 20, poi drops and you start missing. Hence really why I sold on to help fund a pcp for pesting. Pp700 and pp750 better imo with a cheap stirrup pump. Highly customisable in terms of power and accessories etc.
A bit Crossman .22 2240 like. I always worry about vermin control with low powered pistols compare to rifles in terms of humane dispatch. Great entry level kit for target work!
I shot my biggest rat (over 500gr) with a Diana CP2 .177 at 5 meters. Instant death with a nice headshot. I would never tried it from 20 meters. All depent i think. Have a nice day.
I would say this and the cp2 is better as the stock helps with getting a better grip and aids accuracy also used my cp2 for ratting easy quick dispatch up to 10m
One of local productor made %100 same pistol. With shoulder stock it is extremely easy to perform tight groups. it is so lightweight that the bipod is actually an unnecessary item for it.
Very interesting. Not the sort of item I'd normally check out, and surprising results - Andy, you do keep it interesting. But I keep having "Man From Uncle" flashbacks. Where's Illya Kuriyakin? (gotta like David McCallum)
Great review Andy , whot a fab box set of a pistol come rifle .... this will appeal to lot`s of people ..... i like it ... Got to go , got pack for holiday today ... Hargarda here i come , and my fixed up wheelchair .... cheers Simon
I've just ordered myself the .22 vermin version. I noticed it has the holes in the c02 cap, but it doesn't come with the mini wrench for those holes. Shame really as I would have to use a screwdriver or something similar otherwise. I might do a review once I've got it
the "chaser" or "CP2" got a pcp version this month as it seems and the system should be a drop in replacement here. this thing is essentially a diana chaser / artemis cp2 with a different grip and stock. the front sight seems to still be the old style they had on the early cp2 versions. the missing safety is a big nogo. and if you take the system of a chaser or bandit black you get the in trigger safety and it would probably only need a little filing to get the safety to fully work on this grip
One thing to note in this review. The magazine. Andy neither shows how to load or indeed shoots with them. I bought the gun, fires great in single shot mode. Put a magazine in, which loads poorly. I have lots of magazine fed guns and this feels rubbish. It doesn't fit the breech well, didn't cycle properly and jammed in. Ended up putting a carbide drill through the mag to destroy it to get it out. I'd bought a spare mag so still had two left. Neither fit properly and I dare not put one in again. A great shame as it's a nice alternative to my 2240with stock attachment, groups well and takes down so easily. They need to sort the magazines out and charge a little more. Or if anyone knows of anybody making a better one for it.....??
I had similar issue with mine, first thing i noticed and it really annoyed me. But i feel like i have figured it out now and it rarely causes issues. When you load the pellets into the mag, push them as far in as you can with a small allen key or screw driver. It seems to help alignment with the barrel, i get the odd one thats a bit tough to go in, but the jamming hasnt happened now in weeks.
Looks good, I've only ever owned vintage springers and wanted to get something more modern. I like the idea of PCP, but dislike buying a compressor as an additional cost. Are stirrup pumps that difficult to use and time consuming? Then I see the CO2 guns, these seem affected by temperature and conditions etc? My concern is, I've needed to dispatch pests in the past but VERY infrequently. I don't have a FAL so sub 12ftlbs is important. The distance would be up to 30mt's max but mainly around 15mt's. The long and the short is, I'd like something that can be put away for months on end but used at the drop of a hat when necessary, accurately and effectively. Any ideas from the community are appreciated.
Nice, I was thinking about getting a CP2 for some backyard plinking when I move, but I'm not keen on the stock (So I was considering making it a ply stock) but now there's this,..... choices choices.....
