I have a HW100, safety tip while loading magazines, when you pull back the cocking handle and it is at the rear, you can apply the safety catch mid load ie before pushing the lever forward. This negates any accidental firing when completing the the magazine load (mine has a very light trigger and this is now a vital component to my magazine load drill)
Got the HW100T In . 20 cal, excellent rifle, oozes quality from every part of it, they say the . 20 lacks choice of pellets, and maybe it duz, but it's FAR from pellet fussy and good to go with both JSB & H&N's, culminating in very good accuracy. Yes, I'd recommend an HW100 to anyone looking for something that'll last a lifetime..
Great review guys, the only problem is now I want another one, I’ve had 4 over the last 20 or so years and they are tried and tested, one I had with a tiger stripe stock I should of never sold 😓.
Compared to a lot of the other utube video i away find the pair of you don't ball S which gives me confidence in your company 👍,if i bought an airrifle and you delivered you would get a few beers to take home
Hi Guys, cool review on the HW 💯👍👍😀 that's the perfect hunting gun, it's on my bucket list, that and the Daystate Revere Safari.. and I know Lawrence has been on the coffee, get some decaf.. 😀😀catch you on your next video.. thanks guys✌️🤟👍
Do you put your guns over the chrono before sale, and if so how many manufacturers exaggerate the power output?. Many shooters have noticed this problem recently and the power levels are way below stated ft/lbs.
Yes, we certainly put all guns through the chrono before being sold. We can't really comment on the extent of the issue you are describing but we do understand that there are so many variables when it comes to power output. Everything from pellets to environment, and everything in between, can and does have an impact on the power output of any airgun... We regularly see fluctuations of 1+ ft/lbs just by simply changing the pellets. We can only assume that the power output given by manufacturers are achieved in perfect conditions with pellets that best suit that particular rifle.
@rangecountryairguns5883 Thanks for the explanation guy's but I was already aware of the conditions that can effect power output, but when it comes to mimicking the conditions of the test from the manufacturers the power is usually at least 1+ft/lb below stated energy. I do believe this is deliberate which makes a mockery of the the 12ft/lb legal limit.
@@rangecountryairguns5883hi, do the grey inserts on the stock mark up? Saw one of these at a local range and the owner was despairing at all the marks caused by a slightest touch to the stock. Wondered if this has been fixed.
Poiché posseggo una hw 77, sulla quale intento montare un' ottica, per cortesia, vorrei conoscere la marca e le caratteristiche dell' ottica montata sulla sua carabina. Grazie.
That picatinny plastic rail supplied with the rifle is not fit for purpose it warps and knocks off your zero at any given movement of the scope like zooming in the scope if you try to tighten it too much it warps even more😢
We do mention this at the start of the testing section but the scope we had on this gun is the Hawke Fastmount 4-16 x 50 - rangeandcountry.co.uk/hawke-fast-mount-4-16-x-50-ao-ir-scope-11-460/ A great scope for the price!!
Brilliant guys iv got a hw100 kt in 177 and it's an amazing bit of kit one of the best in my opinion
All time Classic..One of the best rifles ever..

Great review i have just ordered one of these looks a nice rifle my FX wildcat fac has same saftey catch only works when cocked
Also the heavy barrels are smooth, no swists

If you stud fit a bipod to the barrel band instead of the standard stock bolt, it'll create POI shift. For obvious reasons.
Free float the barrel... problem solved.
It won’t anyway. Think about it.

Just put price correct at time of going to press. Similar to what you would do with a quote for work as materials can go up in price
Great review, how does the Daystate Revere compare to this rifle?
In my HW100 KT in .177, I can go through 6 mags of 14 shots and still be in the green.
You’ve taught your son well Peter, his excuses are more creative than yours 😂
Great video, great gun (love my KT and BP). 👍
Excellent video - I’ve got the HW BP in 177 , can not fault it 👍🤠

What scope do you use, just got a hw100 and need a scope for range shooting

Thanks for that, I have just ordered that exact scope yesterday
In terms of grouping, not much tighter or much better than the much cheaper BSA scorpion ts
Prueba con un bípode y un saquete trasero y verás como mejora la agrupación
My gamo venari, and my s510 will equal that no problem
No springers,😯
To get beginners into the sport and shooting, PCPs are significantly easier to use so for our club guns we exclusively use PCP rifles
K is for Kurtz, not Karbine.
Direct from the Weihrauch website:
“The KT model stand for Karbine Thumbhole, the shorter variation.”
Nothing wrong with the german rifles i should know that😉😉
Dinasour news
Bit to young for Kyle 😂
Magazine cycling and cocking makes enough noise to scare anything, so not the best for a hunting rifle.
