Oil is only $1.06/barrel, way below the longterm average, something was arranged at Davos back in March to keep the pump price high,that's evident by US pump prices,and oil is priced in USD? Something sinister afoot!
Another great stepping stone. All you English and Johnny Foreigners ride up the boring M74/A9 to do the NC500, where as you hang left at Gretna, come up the coast, use Arran or Bute to hop over to the M.o.K or Argyll, then head up to Fort William that way, you'll find some of the best biking roads in the UK...my playground!
Really interesting to see you going around Arran and loving it so much. I live on the mainland opposite Arran and have visited many times. Watching your video made me realise that I take it for granted and to see it through someone else’s eyes 👀 made me appreciate it again. Makes you realise that you don’t have to travel miles to get out on an adventure. Nice video as always. Cheers Richy.

Another great video of your travels , thank you ❤️ We went to Arran for 2 nights last August with other biker friends and we covered it in a day! Nice island just to trundle along and take in the stunning scenery. We were fortunate with the weather, shame you had the rain but it’s Scotland!
Islay is beautiful but very small and amazing whiskey distilleries, we caught the ferry after Arran, love a bit of island hopping. You would like Jura it’s great for the adventure bike (not HDs which our friends were on, never heard then swear so much 🤭)
Very nice! Shame about the weather but I like the fact it didn't spoil your enthusias. After watching your Scotland videos I really want to go back up to Scotland and see some more and do some islands hoping! 👍

Totally agree with you. It's about where you go and what you see. Fast roads are great, but I'm happy just cruising along and soaking in the views too.

When you mentioned wanting to do the Outer Hebrides i had to do a small cheer and fist pump! always wanted to go and would also love to see you do a series there, it looks so pristine in the pics and vids!...... Anyway another great vid Richy! Arran looked stunning, just picked myself a TKC70 front and a TKC70 Rocks after chatting to you at the ABR just sat at home waiting for the damn post man now!

Next time you could jump over to Kintyre from North end...and head doon to Cambeltown....then up West Coast to Oban......

Top tip for taking photos on iPhone. When your holding phone and looking at screen, your fingers sit naturally on the volume buttons on the edge. Press the volume button and it’ll take a photo. This works with gloves on as well.
The right bike to do it on.. I went round it once on a gsxs1000 and had bits missing by time I hit the ferry again 😂😂 be interesting to see where you go next..

My TT back in my 125 days! Went back on a 600 and did not go much faster cos I was getting popped out the seat so much lol.
Off to Oban and Mull in the next few days, not on the bike but maybe one day 😀

Absolutely fabulous! The Whiskey fan that you are... I fully recommend a tour of Islay if you haven't already. Some of the most stunning beaches I've ever seen and more distilleries than you can shake an empty dram at! We did it last year, absolutely loved it! Bowmore and Lagavulin are particularly sublime! Finlaggan too... If you can work out which distillery it comes from!
Each pub has a whiskey bible... The most expensive was £280 per shot! I didn't try it... But I did try the world's most peaty variety.... Pure petroleum! Could run both yourself and your Africa on it!

Another great video, Scotland is on my list for next year. The route will mainly be based on distilleries of course! I'd like to hear your thoughts on the new Armada GTX jacket vs the Atlantic you've been wearing for a while, I'm up for one of them but can't choose which one.
First off, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the Atlantic. It’s served me, with all the abuse I give it, better than it should and never, not one time let me down!
The new Armada, being their new flagship, is every bit as top notch as you would expect. Doesn’t have a thermal liner, which I’m surprised about, but so far, not needed, either. Design-wise it has more vents, as do the pants (none on the Atlantic pants) comes with extra storm guard for the neck, and I think looks great 👍

@@RichyVida Thanks for the reply. It was the vent situation that was putting me off the Atlantic which otherwise ticked every box. I've looked at the Armada but I thought it felt a bit heavy (probably only compared to expectation) I would guess it is aimed more toward the adventure market with the amount of vents it has which was a positive for me. The Atlantic is the one for me I think, now to get some miles to test it out. Have a great WW22!

Some dark history about the Isle of Aran,
Back in the 60's-70's, Aran had a very high suicide rate. It was so high, it was such a phenomenon, locally, they became known as the Aran Jumpers.

@@RichyVida yes picked up another 12 pallets from other distileries then drive down to plymouth total days was 5 plus used 1800 ltres of diesel
