I loved James Silas, the Iceman and the A-Train. I still rooted for them all the time except against the Mavs. I loved the fact that they built around star players over the years without constant turnover. Gosh, this particular group of inductees is hitting me. I am 47 and grew up watching Bird and Magic. They retired when I was just a teenager. But watching Dirk and others that are around my get inducted is bittersweet.
Getting old is blessing and a curse. A blessing because you appreciate so much more because you’re not as dumb as you used to be. But a curse because you wish you could go back and relive your youth. It’s so precious and beautiful but it’s gone so fast.

Dirk revolutionized the game. I remember watching big men in the 70's, 80's and 90's. All were stationary. Then Dirk comes along and handles the ball like a point cared, crossing over down the lane and dunking. He was far more than a shooter. But he was as clutch as they came. And should have two rings cuz 06 was a theft by the refs.

Conspiracy in my opinion in 2006. Dwayne Wade's family member in Chicago has mysterious death. He later allows his son to be treated like a girl. Now he gets all this TV show fame. Finally, he is some sort of part owner with the Utah Jazz but you see him more at Miami Heat games. This is all suspicious. By the way, I believe there was a cloud around one of the refs too.
