LOL and its something because Reggie NEVER backed down. As a Chicago fan it's what I always respected about him. Back then, even with MJ and Scottie and Tony, you did NOT want Indiana to have the last shot. More so than even with MJ. Reggie was just that clutch.

Reggie is lying too. MJ wad the greatest, but Reggie wasn't scared of nobody. Growing up a Bulls fan, Reggie was one of the most feared players we ever faced.

***** I think you forgot who`s era it was.....and if you rate players only by stats and All-Star appearances, well then you do not know the game my friend.....he would have made more All-Star games if he would have left Indiana for the westcoast....but he decided to stay with the franchise for his whole career! Plus....when he left the NBA he was the best 3 point shooter ever.....so how can he not be a HOF ?

kokolatte825 She DID go down as one of the greatest! By EVERY account she is considered the GREATEST Woman Player EVER and LITERALLY at here is not one person or former player male or female that has ever disputed that fact! From Lisa Leslie to Cheryl swoops to sue bird to Diana tirade to Michael Jordan, to Barkley, Magic and Isaiah to Larry Bird to Kobe and Shaq are all on record saying so and that’s just a small list out of many. She is recognized by everyone as the greatest female player ever and as far as overall skill set, top 3 or 5 basketball player male OR female hands down. Her records I. High school college and abroad STILL stand plus an Olympic gold medal, 3 NCAA back to back championships at USC and 105 points in high school game were she was actually passing the ball to her teammates and did not play the last 2 minutes of the game! At USC she averaged MORE than 25 plus points AND 20 plus rebounds ALL FOUR YEARS, in fact her WORSE year in college was her freshman year, 23.5ppg, 9.7 rpg while shooting over 51% from the damn field and more than 85-90% from the free throw!! She shot ABOVE 55% the next 3 years and average 13 rpg: she shot 61% from the field her senior year! NOBODY male or female has done it all while averaging a double double and Alamo’s double digit assists as well ALL FOUR YEARS! The shit is crazy! She is recognized UNIVERSALLY as the greatest woman’s player EVER!!

    • @kokolatte825

@@jimmycunningham4475 she is recognized by other players, but not by the world universally because she didn't get the opportunity to play on that level. Other athletes say it and people who remember her college days. It's really not the same amount of people it would've been had she had the chance to play pro ball and go to the Olympics.

Growing up, Reggie Miller was easily my 2nd favorite player to watch behind Michael Jordan. Before Ray Allen and Steph Curry, Reggie Miller was the prototype for 3-point sniper shooting and frankly, he did it against much tougher odds than either Allen or Curry. Allen eventually got to be part of a superteam in the '08 Celtics and Curry has always had Klay Thompson on his side. Imagine Miller having a SECOND sniper to help pick him up during the 90s. Everytime he would finally conquer one huge playoff obstacle, there was always one waiting that was just to hard to overcome. Finally beats the Knicks in '95, then has to contend with a young powerhouse Magic team in the ECF. Finally gets to the NBA Finals in '00, then has to deal with a Lakers squad with 2 future HOFers and in the conversation of Top 10 all-time players and both coached by the greatest NBA coach ever. And this is all ignoring he had the impossible task of trying to dethrone Jordan's Bulls in the 90s. Miller unfortunately played in an unlucky era.

For anyone questioning his worthiness remember he played during a time when some of the greatest players, and certainly some of the biggest dynasties were in the NBA. His career started during the beginning of MJ's and the Bulls prime and ended with Shaq/Kobe dynasties. You put Reggie on the Lakers, or Bulls and he's a household name. He took a below average team to the playoffs. His numbers aren't as stellar as you'd think until you realize his percentage was unbelievably high, he just didn't take as many shots as the bigger named guys.

To me Reggie had more memorable playoff moments after they made the Finals, after 2001 I just remember watching clutch after clutch playoff shots up until he retired, if it wasn't for that brawl in Detroit that Pacers team would've gone to the Finals and won it all.

Throughout my childhood I had only one role model outside my family, and that was Reggie Miller. All the days and nights mimicing Reggies shot surrounded by cornfields in New Middletown, Indiana. My family taking me to a game every year to see Reggie and the Pacers play. Watching Reggie taught me hard work, how to be confident, and most importantly loyalty. Í have so many fond childhood memories because of Reggie Miller and I wouldn't trade the 18 years I had watching him for 18 championships.

Great speech by Reggie, class act. As a Bulls fan I hated Miller but that's because I knew he was a great talent in the NBA and looking back on his career, sure people can say Ray Allen broke that 3 point record but Reggie to me is much better then Ray Allen with all due respect to Ray-Ray. Great career Reggie! glad your with the TNT family bringing great commentary each week during the NBA season.

I just see Reggie as a Class Act. Once in Concord New Hampshire I stood next to him - I'm 5 5 in shoes - as he waited for a helicopter to take him to a race up in Conway NH. We didn't speak, and I didn't recognize him, but he was a kind, immaculately dressed, gentle, and unforgettable man even then. After I saw the 30 for 30 ESPN tape - which I believe is one of the best BBall films EVER - I knew. After that short "meeting" I didn't expect him to mention me in his speech, but even so he always brings a smile. God has indeed blessed his entire family.

Christopher Miller That is the truth right there!. Even at 34 years old I have kids half my age who hate guarding me because they know they gotta run. They know I'm gonna run in circles until they either get tired or run into a screen. I learnt that when I was 17 from Reggie Miller.
