Bit of an oopsie there guys. Skorpekh Lords don't get to swing with both melee weapons. It's just a weapon profile basically. One for cleaving lots of infantry and batteline and the other for hardier targets like tanks and terminators.
@@bastionwargaming7965 Nothing to fix, it is not like a one off. Rules explicitly state even when you have more than one melee weapon you pick ONE to use, unless another has the "Extra Attacks" keyword. It is a rule so basic it is in the simplified rules that are only like 5 pages.
@@Jan_Iedema And that's okay, we all start somewhere. Made plenty of mistakes with movement and coherency when I started. Messing up or forgetting is learning. Just hate people trying to blame others or the rules for mistakes. No one is going to fine you or take away your freedom for messing up in a game, no consequences for admitting fault other than feeling like a goof for a moment.

Always love to see some proper combined arms from the guard. Probably the one good thing about 10th is the ability to do that stuff with them without needing a bunch if extra detachments and things. Just have the full fluff
Fun report and great chemistry with the players, clearly get on and enjoy having a battle against each other. I find this show's the issue with some fundamental rules of the game. the deployment zones are too close. Even small arms have long range and can hit the first turn, and damage units. Then i think shooting is too powerful in the game either looking at it in isolation or comparing it to close combat. How can so many vehicles die turn 1 and 2..bonkers. also why is there so much on a 2000 point army... attempts by gw to make you buy more to play. Love the paint jobs and nice to see the tallarn again..guard really need their galaxy spanning diversity to be celebrated more in the models released.
I love the Necrons and how you have painted them. I would also love to learn how you painted them or what colors you used to get that metal color without being metallic paint.
If you’re still looking for advice, search for painting non-metallic metal, or NMM for short. I still am not great at it, but it’s a good place to start 🙂

Just a quick note, I think the audio mixing in the intro might need a little bit of adjusting. It's a bit hard to hear Jinx with the music as high as it is.

Imperial guard player here. Have barely gotten through the list portion of the video and have already rolled my eyes half a dozen times. 🤦♂️ That list is a series of choices.
@@tabletoptactics Understood and I don't think it should be. But some of the Astra Militarum stuff (Primaris Psyker, Wyvern, Regimental Attache's, etc) are, quite unfortunately, just not great. It might be a matter of available models, but even a second tank commander probably would have been fun as well and allowed you to have more orders for your various vehicles.
@ericmumper6821 Absolutely and luckily we do have a vast guard army so we could, and have ran many variations of the army. You can check our previous reports for that. The reason so occasionally run some of the and or lesser seen units is to highlight them and show variety, as there will also be people that do like them, or run exclusively fluffy lists :)
With peace and love you include Jinx in so many battle reports lately, I have nothing against her - she is a sweet gyal, but the battle reports with her are somehow less enjoyable for me :( Please, could we get more Chef and Spider in the reports? With peace and love!

It's a very common mistake. GW should've fixed it so long ago.
