Just took the dive back into 40K for the first time since i was 13 over 16 years ago! I always played Orks and had a smaller army of Necrons i was getting into before i unfortunetly had a family tragedy that led us to move house overnight and lost 90% of my possessions in the process, 16 years later and im finally back in the game having just bought all equipment needed, paints, brushes, cutters etc and purchased the Black Templars Combat Patrol along with High Marshal Helbrecht because thats one BADASS model! This channel and videos have brought my love back for the game i once played daily, thank you guys so much! See you on the battlefield! 🤝🏽

Bard Ghazkghul might have learned High Gothic off Yarrick when he was his prisoner but he wouldn't be the only Ork to speak it.
One of The Beasts spoke to Vulkan in High Gothic as well 👍.

1:03:17 It is actually for the whole unit they also get the lethals from the castellan on 5's because of that enhancement! Bard was playing underpowered templars the whole game xD
Also he forgot precision from the emperors champion it seems, could have gone directly for Ghaz :D

As a newcomer to the 40K and AOS community/hobby I have to say, I was mostly interested in just playing the video games and collecting/painting but seeing how fun the actual tabletop is I'm much more interested in also playing the irl. I love how it just seems like a great time where both sides are just laughing and enjoying each-others turns regardless of good or bad rolls.
Same here, I know it’s gonna take awhile for me to get to their level of understanding the game and having a good comprehension of rules. But getting to see these videos is a nice way to still see how fun it can be, getting the introductory set this week
You guys are a great advocate for the game and tabletop hobby, don't change the enthusiasm is great to see.

Sign, couple things on this. The champ has precision. You can ignore Makari and just target Ghaz with him.
Sigismund’s Seal does effect the whole unit with the Critical Hits on 5’s, not just the character.
Didn’t see the dice rolling as I am assembling both Beast Snaggas and Inceptors while it was playing, but remember the lethal hits caused by the castellan effect the unit too.

Holy smokes, an Ork unit painted as a choir of waaagh would be amazing!
Just a heads up, grot krews found a purpose in Mek Gunz. U can now stare down the barrel, see what bubble's coming out, then choose a target to bubble bath efficiently!
The narration was absolutely legendary. Definitely my favorite duo right here.

Guys, which terrain set were you using in this game? - It is absolutely beautiful!
Tip for Black Templars. Initiates and Neophytes have the same stats. Always take the save on the best save model (minus the power fist guys). On the bubble gun you should have taken it on the base initiates. Just an FYI also the lancers need to have multi melta on them.

As for the decision point to roll armor saves against Neophytes versus Initiates... Unless you're doing it for fluff reasons, I would think it's always better to apply the wounds against the sturdier Initiates because of their better armor save. Once in melee, Initiates and Neophytes are the same, same stat line, same chain swords.
