The complete session recorded by Can on 14 May 1975 for the John Peel show on BBC Radio 1 and broadcast on the 19th of that month. Tracklist: 1. Geheim (0:07) 2. Mighty Girl (6:45)
You have to keep in mind this/these are not concerts. They are sessions on the radio show. I don't think they were permitted to do full shows. Many of the bands put out eps from them- some did multiple dates and put eps together as albums.
You only had an afternoon in a BBC studio to record your session if I remember right. Get in, set up and get sounds, go to the canteen/bar, record, and mix. I see one session I did was four songs but totals under ten minutes...
Thanks @@peterfreeman6677, that's interesting. To me it doesn't sounds like Damo at all and it wouldn't fit the year. Michael actually seems more plausible to me.
Great to hear these songs. Fantastic. Many thanks ;)
First track is like Half Past One of Landed, but fucking superb version thanks for posting
Yes, Landed was recorded about 1-2 months prior.
good rec ! fantastic KRAUT ! thx !
just amazing, best Can I've ever heard
Jaki has a nice snare tone.
Second track is a version of November from Out of Reach
Lydon loved them.
super!
I am certain jaki has more than 2 arms
Jaki is a three armed wizard.

Брат познакомил меня этой группой в нулевых годах
Все,я теперь фанат.
Правда нафталиновый 🎉
UA-cam photo here is definitely misleading because this is of course post-Damo CAN
No way this is the 'complete' session. Can always played for hours See 'Eddie wanna go' and 'Up the Bakerloo Line with Annie'

@@philcollis100 Guess they ran a tighter ship than Top Gear then
Still would have thought they'd play for the entire afternoon. The fade in at the start gives a little clue to more being there, no?
The rest of the Peel Sessions were from 1973 - 74 as I recall.
The first song makes "Remain In Light" a little less impressive.
who is singing?
Michael Karoli
Damo had left a couple of years before
According to the BBC session info, Damo Suzuki was there for this session.
