Saw these guys about a little over a year ago and I’ve seen so much bands before them and these guys jumped straight to number two of the best bands I’ve seen and they opened up with this song and his voice now sounds so similar to him younger still and everyone sounds exactly how they recorded the music they’re so fantastic and then a few months ago I saw love and rockets and they were fantastic for sure see them both when you can because you never know when you can see either of them and for me barely being 20 and able to hear theirs guys were fantastic

You made me go back to the times of beautiful youth... Thank you fuiter for publishing this crazy sounds (along to crazy photography! :D ). It was definitely one of my favourite Bauhaus session.
Greetings from Warsaw, Poland - behind the Iron Curtain in those times. (It was much more fun to fight communist police as a young punk here, than to be only asked for ID in this boring, satiating Britain... ;) )

ran away from home to see these guys. front row, Bristol, 1981, got whipped numerous times by Murphy's mic lead and caught a bunch of (fake) yellow roses which I still have to this day...don't ask me why! such power and energy in the music. Got tickets to see them again at the Ali Pali in London later this year (CV permitting)

I dont have a clue where I got it, but I had a bootleg copy of this around the mid 80's, that tape got played so many times it stretched until it broke, not kidding. sound quality wasnt bad at first, but definitely got really bad.
I was still in my early teens so the thought of making a recording of it to preserve it wasnt even a thought, heck, I didnt even consider doing things like that until the 2000's...
nice to hear it on utube sounding better (by far) than the bootlegged tape version I had :)
