best drum beat ever!
That beat is very hot.
Organ also. Unbelieveabel, that song is from 72.
The human metronome!
@@suzp2265 but groovier than a metronome
Rest up in peace Damo 😢
How have I never heard of this band or this song in my 57 years of music-rooted life? Amazing, love them. Heard it in a new Netflix series episode and had to check them out.
Me, too. From *Eric.* I’m sure I’ve heard this before, as I Shazammed the song partially because I liked it and partially because it sounded familiar somehow, but I definitely didn’t ‘know’ this song. It’s bizarre. And amazing. Oh, yeah-I’m 55….
@@CentaurusRelax314 Yep, Eric! I also Shazammed it lol The whole Eric soundtrack was great.
Me too lol!
Eric brought me here as well. I had to Shazam this song. Glad I did because Netflix took Eric off.
It's never too late friend.
So much from that time sounds dated and old. This piece is over 50 years old and still sounds fresh and surprising.
RIP, Damo, you really deserved it.
This could go over at any dance club today, and for the next 1,000 years... or until humanity finally kills itself
Who else Came here after watching Netflix Eric ?
I did ;-)
and because I know the tune from Adam Beyer's 'Your mind'
y'all came looking for it! admit!
Me!!!!
Me ❤
Rest in peace Damo, your legacy is secure, you sang one of the best songs ever written. A legend.
I could be wrong but I think everyone in the band is no longer walking the earth...⚰️
@@daleishus8420: Irmin Schmidt, keyboards, still going.
at 59 years old, how is that I never heard this band. So good.
I was in my 20s when I “discovered” CAN. How nice to be in my 60s now, and buying all the remastered vinyl upgrades for all my well played 70s editions!
Some music is indeed timeless ☺️
same
Almost 58 and I thought this was late 90s early 2000s!
I can't believe at how much of an audiophile I am, musician, worked in record stores, that I've never really gave CAN a good listen until I heard this song...
I melt when this song comes on. And not just because it’s its stand ability.
No Dogs In Space Podcast brought me here.. Definitely, not regretting my decisions. Love this.
I have learned a lot of music I love from them
BBC 6 Music brought me here, and Im so thankful....what a song
Music reached a peak in 1972
Roadrunner by the Modern Lovers was recorded that year, NEU! released Hallogallo, David Bowie released Ziggy Stardust, Ege Bamyasi came out... etc. An amazing year
@@kelechi_77 YES Close to the Edge, GENESIS Foxtrot, SANTANA Caravanserai, MATCHING MOLE 1st album, ...
No way, Jose.
Her daddy got a big aeroplane
Her mommy holds all the family cash
A beautiful blows, I stay at the corner
She is living in and out of tune
Hey you
You're losing, you're losing
You're losing, you're losing your vitamin C
Hey you
You're losing, you're losing
You're losing, you're losing your vitamin C
Your vitamin C
A monster press machine in on her body
While she is stepping on the quicksand
A beautiful rose, stay at the corner
She is living in and out of tune

You're losing, you're losing

Thanks. Now, what does that mean? 😊
It’s “a beautiful rose” he just has a thick accent
@@tsparks4133Nothing. The voice is just another instrument.

It’s all about that drum sound, absolutely killer
RIP Damo Suzuki
This is definitely one of my all time favorite !
Unsurprisingly, i lost all my Vitamin C listening to this song.
🤣🤣
Straight Bboy track to get down to.!!!
Nasty Uprocks & Apache & footwork.
Vitamin c + dead pigeon suite live, damo you will be in our hearts 4ever 💔🖤💔
Excellent!!❤
one of the greatest breaks of all time!
Immortal Song! Favourite one for Dj's! Rest in Peace, Damo Suzuki!
I found out about this band when the lunch lady at the college i was attending showed me this song. I wish I could go back and thank her because now I truly appreciate!🤘
Well done with the vid…sounds much better with the recorded song than the original live sound of the concert. Damo does exactly the same, a genuine lip sync, but the dummer is sound/listed live and recording sound shows the truth of his virtuosity. Good job and thank you…this is a pure gold masterpiece.♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thanks so much !!
Where can we see it with the original sound? This is wonderful but I’m curious!
The only 70's prog rock band who could get into a groove.
This isn't prog rock
Uh…tons of groove oriented prog!
@@candlerreddenNot quite. Krautrock has many progressive, psychedelic and avant-garde influences.
Just heard about Damo and im beyond heartbroken. rest in power king
So ahead of their time
Damo!
this song is so friggin cool. it surfaced from memory during my sleep, and yes, it was the beat i remembered, but it was "hey you" that led me back, and now, after finding it again, I have goosebumps
Great Krautrock's group!!! I didn't lesson enough to it when i was young.... rediscover them few years ago. Mother Sky is a great tune too. Rip Damo💜
RIP Cool guy 😎😢

Crazy song! In the most beautiful meaning of this world. Glad I"ve finally found you, Damo Suzuki
Man they killed this song.
Jaki Liebezeit delivers all the vitamins you need.
One of the best drummers ever !
Love this song!! Heard it plenty of times and of course Netflix’s Eric brought me back to this song ❤ 🤘🏼 song is much older than the series obviously
Have a nice trip, Damo, shaman from one of my favorite bands ever 🖤
Jaki Liebeziet's bass drum. Wow.
So freaking good
Flashback when I watched Eric. I heard CAN in Germany 1980
absolute masterpiece
thanks A beautiful blows,
EGE BAMYASI lp ! Vitamin C! CAN's Damo Suzuki! R.I.P and Respect!
I like the kick drum work.
Fantastic!
I don't understand why Krautrock wasn't more commercial than it was. It's an incredible experimental genre. Influenced by psychedelic rock and progressive rock.
Não consigo parar de escutá-la! Altamente viciante!
What a drummer
the funkiest german who ever lived
Paix à ton âme ! merci !

🖤 eerie and funky 😎
A girl I love brought me here
❤❤ my dad showed me this
I can certainly hear Can's influence on Radiohead the more I dabble into their sound.
Wow…
That pocket. Hitten' em' on the ONE!
We all better start taking vitamin C before it's depleted... Thanks for the advice...

Just find out about Krautrock stuff while learning about King Gizzard's influences. This is INSANE! How in almost 3 decades of listening to rock music did I never heard of this?
better late than never, I guess !
Same.
speaking about krautrock. do you know amon düül 2? listen to their song "Archangel Thunderbird" or "Kismet"
