I walked in shop to purchase the Myers SE. Walked out with the 6 string Holcomb SE. Went back the next day to purchase the Myers SE. Haven't touched the Holcomb since. This is a great guitar!
Yes, plenty of sounds but at 6:34 you made this video worthy for what I was looking for, then the chords starting at 6:47 answered my questions. Great video, you covered so many things showing us that this beautiful guitar is super versatile.
Really good review that showed the guitar off well. You suggested there's more than just aesthetic updates to the previous model, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Great guitars either way, but anyone with the previous model has no reason to switch other than aesthetics.
Hi! I'm Paolo from Italy. This is an amazing guitar... very versatile. You can pass from jazz to heavy metal, to a genre to another very different without shifting guitar or dividing the magnets... and the price is affordable. I think it will be my next purchase (forgive my english... io parlo italiano/je parle francais) thanks for your recension
Because of the shorter scale length at 24.594 inches this would be a great guitar for kids to learn on & continue to play it as long as they choose to play guitar. Every kid I see learning guitar has a 25.5 inch scale Squier Stratocaster & most of them struggle because of smaller hands. The parents don't always know about that, unless they've played guitar. I'd love to see PRS market a short length scale guitar for young beginners at parents. They used to make an SE that I think was 24.5 inches, I could be wrong? I don't know that there's a huge demand, just something I've noticed while teaching.
Great playing and a great demo from Nick, as usual. I watch pretty much all the GI videos and usually get a lot from them, between the gear _and_ the typically great playing! They've definitely helped to sell me a few things along the way, lol. However... the "significant update" and "interesting stuff going on under the hood" cited at the start of the video are never addressed. And I _was_ waiting to hear about them. I happen to own the earlier MIK Trampas Green version of this guitar--which I love--and, past the current blue veneer and headstock, along with new black tuning buttons and all-black PU coils (all this being purely cosmetic, of course, from what I've read and heard), there actually _are_ no "under the hood' changes going on at all. Now, this observation doesn't negate the Zach Myers being a fabulous guitar at all--it is--just that the hyperbole on flow from pretty much ALL quarters tends to become a bit much at times. 'Cuz it really IS the same _great_ guitar... just dressed up in new clothes. Which is OK... but please just right come out and say that. _(Head ducking now...)_
BEWARE !!!!……PRS quality control is non existent !!…just had a ZM delivered from Thomann……selector switch is cheap rubbish and the neck pickup is non functioning ……despite the guitar being adorned with QC stickers and a QC check list….disaster …

Got one ordered for Christmas. Wife of the year!
I ordered one for Christmas for my son. He has always wanted a semi-hollow guitar. The finish, price and PRS I couldn’t say no.

Best review of this guitar on YT. Well done.
My favorite guitar I own ❤️
Man, that guitar is extremely good looking. Love the matching headstock, and wonderful demo as per usual.
Glad you like it!

I have the 2010 3 humbucker one love it.... I never hears of Zach Meyers i grew up with Rush and Led ZEPPILIN
Incredible chops.. nicely done👏🤘
Thanks a lot!
I have this guitar, it’s incredible. Feels and sounds like a $4K guitar.
how is the feedback? I want to pick one up but am a little worried feedback will be bad due to it being a hollow body
@@bdogrocker1013 if it’s good enough for Shindown. It’s probably just fine.

Incredible playing. PRS should make a guitar with your name on it!

Nice video. Would like to see a prs se Zach Myers guitar in full hollowbody.

What is your setup for the clean, high gain and overdrive tones?
Very good review, top work 👍🏼
Thank you! 👍
Nice video guys. Thank you for the review.
Thanks for watching!
Way better than Fender reviews.
What are you using to make those sounds?, the amp sounds amazing.
Ordered this guitar yesterday. Going to use it with kemper. Whats your thought on it?
254 pickups? 245 ... 🤘🏻😉It’s a beast tho
Does it have a pattern thin neck?
Wow
😎👍

How is this cat not a touring musician for a God tier band? Wasted talent.
Nick is a member of metal legends Blitzkrieg. Be sure and catch them on tour, it's an amazing live show 🤘
God I wish it came in a different color! That blue is hideous!!!! Black, Honey burst, bourbon burst…… anything other than blue or green!
Haha you're crazy man, this guitar looks stunning
@@GuitarInteractive I agree nutz
Its bluephobia !!!!!!
I dunno man…. I wear black, I play metal, I’m over 40. Bright colors just ain’t my thing! What you call beautiful, I call tacky!
@@ZO5150 who cares what you call tacky though man?
