Cutest couple in the world!!! I don't need an extra channel. Your baby will just fold into your life. It will be nice to see him in your world. It's the root of gardening. Growing food, flowers and children. God's perfect gifts. Passing on gardening to the next generation.

I think you'll find the baby naturally will become a part of your gardening videos. I'd love to see what you do in the nursery. Honestly, I'd watch videos of you doing algebra. I love watching anything you do!
I retired a year ago. I was looking for videos on gardening after retirement and came across your video. I have watched you from that point on . I have gone back and started watching from the beginning. So informative and love seeing how you have grown in family and structure of your videos. Great garden and family time.

Omg, love you guys. I vote you save your energy and time. Share what you want (family, home and garden) in your Garden Answer channel but no need for another project, especially with a newborn. However, what ever you choose, we will ALL love and follow!!!
Congratulations again!! 💙 I personally think you should just keep the one channel & do family updates when you feel up to it. You don't want to bite off more than you can chew. I think the number one reason we watch your channel is for gardening. I have learned sooooooo much from your channel and have become excited again about gardening. I think that making another channel would detract from your main purpose.
Maybe you could do a once a month baby 👶 update video and keep us posted on your progress - because I know most of us are interested. We are excited about the little guy who is coming.

I quite agree Karen. I am thrilled about the baby and would love to see baby and have lots of updates but we love your gardening channel. I too have had my gardening passion rekindled. This year I have revamped some of my garden and will be trying different plants in my autumn pots, thanks to your ideas. Over here in the UK we do not have winters quite like yours. UK Judith
i was thinking the same thing. i'm here for gardening as well. though i love to see dexter in the videos and am excited for you news, gardening should still be the main focus. i don't need family gardening ideas but would enjoy occasional updates because we like seeing the fun things too. the photos you add on facebook are fun too - a great place for updates.
My vote is for gardening. Keep us updated on your baby, but gardening is why I love to watch you guys! God bless you and your growing family.

I think managing both channels can be a hectic job for you guys. So I would suggest you guys to continue with gardening and some vlogs about the baby. We love you guys💯
Fast forward to 2024 what a huge change in their property and living space. One thing I could say to Laura is she never wanted red flowers in her flower garden or she didn’t like boulders and now she has definitely grown in her garden with having a pond and now she is planting red flowers this year. Laura has proven “never say never”. Her garden is a statement garden just gorgeous.
Give yourselves some time to decide after your baby is born. See how much you can juggle later. Babies are a full time job and they certainly deserve all your attention!! Congrats again and take good care!

One channel please! Besides, Garden Answer is already a "family" channel. Three of my six kids watch you as faithfully as I do--even though they've never had much interest in doing more than admiring my work. Just keep doing what you are doing, and it will be fun to see how your garden and family life evolve. When I was pregnant with my sixth baby it became apparent I had to do less annuals and figure out where to add perennials, so I can't wait to see how Garden Answer adapts.
I would love to see a mix of what you already have with Garden Answer and "Garden Answer Family." I have 2 small kids and it is tough to get projects done (who am I kidding, it's hard to even get simple weeding done 😜) with them running around, so any ideas on how to get them to participate/keep them busy while I'm gardening would be lovely!

I wouldnt mind baby videos on this channel! You are the star of this channel, the reason why most of us watch, and once you become a mother it will make your life soooo much easier to compact everything into one. Once little baby comes along, it will be such a cute addition to see him/her along in the gardening videos with you
I think one combined channel would be great. You can hit on both topics & not stress yourself out worrying about both channels. You will have enough to do when the baby comes!
Aaron & Laura....You two will have the most adorable baby! My two sons are in their 20's now, but I LOVED, LOVED,.LOVED setting up the nursery, buying clothes/furniture, baby products/items (anything baby related) was absolutely the most fun. Up until the baby was born, it was like a "nesting" instinct. Once your baby is born, you cannot imagine life without him! The LOVE YOU FEEL IS INCREDIBLEMuch love, prayers, & support always!!

I think a second channel is a great idea! That way those of us who want to see baby stuff can, and this one can stay garden related. I've always loved the vlog type video's of yours! I'm also having a January baby! I'm a week ahead of you, and it would be so neat hearing your experiences!

Although thrilled about the upcoming baby, I am 64 years young and would rather you devote your time to garden information. Just yesterday, I was talking to a neighbor, and she said that I knew a lot about gardening. It's thanks to your channel and years of gardening that I have learned so much. Gardening is my "happy place." Keep the videos coming as long as you have the time.

I am mostly interested in your gardening videos and tips and plant/craft arrangements. It would be great fun to have short mentions and progress reports and pictures with the new baby, but keep it mostly garden stuff and the short baby updates. I am so excited for you to experience parenthood. You just can't explain that kind of love 💗You're in for the time of your lives!
Starting a separate channel for family and baby stuff is a great idea. Most of us watch this channel for gardening ideas and tips and to swoon over your work. While I think we would enjoy following along with you all on this journey, keeping this channel pure to its original purpose is probably best. Thanks for all you do and share!
I would suggest just having one channel. So long as the videos are titled appropriately, anyone who doesn't want to watch the family videos will see the title and they can opt not to watch it. I prefer to watch one channel. People come to your channel for gardening. Over time, many come to love watching you just for you and you almost become like a family member you don't get to visit. So, any video you make, because of the attachment to you, we want to see. At least, that's how it is for me.😊 I hope that makes sense.
I'm good with whatever works for you guys. If you choose to do another channel I will for sure follow you there!

This is one of the best, most professional gardening channels I have found. Please keep it centered on gardening! I also want to advise against putting too much of your child online. Not just for safety sake, but for your child's personal privacy. There's a trend towards 'sharenting' these days. Consider if you grew up in the current age of social media; What would you want of your own childhood online without your permission?
I found your channel about 2 wks ago and have been hooked since. I too love to garden but can't find flower gardening channels that are good...a lot of vegetable gardening.
So going back and watching these older ones...just watched you announce u r pregnant with #2. I'm so excited for you and love watching kettle Ben. He'll be a great big brother. You two are are a beautiful couple.

I just saw this for the first time today, 5y later! I was along on the whole ride for Samantha. I love seeing the kids and family times. I think you are interspersing it just right, and would not want you to take away from the format you follow. Maybe in winter, when things are a bit slower, we can see some cozy family times...on the lawn in the high tower, in the Hartley, at grandparents and the garden center...maybe.
So excited to see family/ baby updates! My 7 year old daughter and I watch your channel together. We love it all!

Congratulation on your growing family! I’m glad you feel conformable sharing your special news and other bits and pieces of your lives with your followers. You seems like a great couple and I’m sure you’ll be wonderful parents. I’ve been following you all for at least 18 months because of my interest in gardening. I appreciate your vast gardening knowledge and the quality of the videos you all produce. Laura, you’ve said on multiple occasions that you are doing this to inspire and motivate others to garden. A channel focused specifically on your family doesn’t seem to allow as much time for that.
I loaves the way you do your show the way you’ve been doing it. I love bits of cooking and bits of Benjamin and bits of your cats and bit of all different kinds of every kind of landscape and new property and holiday decorations. Just keep it to one channel. You don't need to split it. As you get more along in your pregnancy you will be a bit more limited in doing gardening. Just mix gardening stuff with your pregnancy updates and decorating the baby room. Do Q & A's and stuff.

Save time; baby stuff here is totally appropriate bc your channel is already years old and this is just a short, very precious blink in the life of your home which we all want to see. Also, this is the best reality show I've ever enjoyed--there's gardening, cats, baby surprises, great taste in homes and conversation style. Omgosh.

I can understand why there's hesitation in including baby videos on this channel so I think it would be a great idea to start another channel. Aaron does such an amazing job in editing the videos for gardenanswer and making them very clean and professional. Maybe in this new channel, you could do more vlog style videos that won't require so much editing to save some time? I'd definitely follow and watch! It would also be a great way for you two to keep a baby video journal. Something to go back to years later with your baby boy :)

I just Love The Garden Answer - your videos are so informative, inspiring, creative and energetic. I often rewatch the videos when I begin a project similar to one you had done. Yes I would love to see you in another channel and it being family oriented. That way garden answers would stay with gardening and the family one would be everything about your family and I love the cat antics.

Stick with one and just incorporate your sweet family in too 😊 I think we watch not only to learn but because you're so relatable and fun! I love that you do videos based around your lifestyle. It's not forced at all and I love the diversity of the projects and videos. Your love of gardening and projects isn't going to change from having a baby, you'll just enjoy it now with him💙 Just like we love seeing Dexter in your videos, we'll love seeing your sweet little bundle of joy in your videos too (not to compare you baby to a cat😂) As a mom of 3 myself, I think I've learned to love gardening in a whole new way through those little eyes and tiny gardening hands. I'm excited to see what new ways you're inspired and new projects you come up with. But either way, I'll be subscribed with notifications bells on to any channel y'all make😄
I think adding a bit of baby info into your Q and A videos like this one is a perfectly fine thing to do. With a new baby on the way I wouldn't start a whole new channel because it seems like it could become a chore rather than a pleasure! Have you tried ginger tea or ginger (fresh) added to lemonade for your morning sickness? It helped my friend when she was feeling nauseaus during her pregnancy. Good luck!

I see both benefits for having Gardenanswer as is and then the family channel. As well as the combination of the two in one channel. For the family channel there can be activities with your kid as he gets older, it could have a more relaxed vibe to it. I also know adding family things to just this channel would include the same benefits as the seperate channel. I'll support you guys with whatever you choose to do!
A second channel is a great idea, after watching you for quite a while, i went out in search of Succulents in Jamaica. At first I could not find any, then I ask around, and now I am happy because I start collecting, them all because of you, and I love them.

I think fitting in the occasional vidoe dedicated to all things baby would be enough (maybe once a month updates like your tour updates with an occasional extra one). Your're going to be sooooo busy as time goes on it may take away from your joy and make everything so much more complicated. You want to keep stress levels at a minimum. For me, looking forward to the surprise baby updates would be such a treat. Do what fits the best.

oh my gosh.. this is the first video i've seen Laura with her beautiful hair up😄 and it wasn't even the main part of the video 15:38 i was literally admiring the curls on the bottom of her hair. it just looks so smooth and bouncy.
