It's tradition in Angola to clap after landing. Since we all can't go in the cockpit to thank the pilots it's our way of saying thank you.

Full hot meal service on a two-hour flight? That's impressive! The food looked really good as well!
Try CGK-SIN full meal in 1 hour 30 minute flight.
Such service is rare nowadays
Actually domestic flight in Indonesia have full hot meal for 1,5 hour flight
Meanwhile American: snack on 8 hour Domestic flight
African countries seem no as bad as tv and social media tell us! Thank you for such a rare report

Diego Carvalho yes , Angola is amazing , I’ve seen beautiful landscapes there (for example piedras negras, tundavala and the falls near malanje ) which were free of tourists. Those landscapes would have assaulted by tourists if they had been in Europe.
Lots of African countries are doing well now and are not like the negative portrayals in Western media. Western media that mostly focuses on the African countries with big problems and thus create the impression that that somehow then applies to the entire continent. Namibia, Botswana, Rwanda, Morocco, Kenya, Ethiopia are all doing well and growing economically. In fact 7 out of the 10 fastest growing economies in the world are now African countries.
People need to update their information (it's not 1985) and they need to understand that Africa is a huge continent not a country. One region or country can differ greatly from another.
Thank you for flying Taag, my country's airlines. i din't expect that very soon, you did it and i hope you enjoyed that, i can't wait for OPO-LAD.

Só lamento que, 90% dos elogios que a TAAG recebe venham de estrangeiros. Pelos comentários que li, pude entender que havia aqui um consenso: "Algumas empresas de aviação Americanas e Europeias, para voos de 2h, não servem refeição quente.

This plane was built for Sonair and it flew for her foe few years till they sold it to Taag, i can see the decoration, you flew in D2-TED OPO-LAD and it has got the same style just like the B737's

Excellent Tripreport Felix! Angola Airlines sure was a surprise to me, they seem to serve a quite generous meal for a 2 hours flight. It’s not in Canada that you would get such service haha! :D

Favorite video moment(s): the views of TAAG's B777's and B737's from outside, that meal on that flight time👌, the funny kids in the background, the clapping after landing, the view of Ethiopian and KLM next to eachother and the walking to the terminal in Windhoek.

Cara , não usa calendário? Depende da época, cara ! E a Namíbia está próximo da África do Sul por isso faz muito frio nos meses entre abril e Setembro.
