Hope to head to Botswana later this year! Thanks for the review! I love the ATR planes...like flying in the "old" days! And at the lower altitudes you get a much better view of what you are flying over!! Well done!
Some ATR´s actually have a front passenger door. I flew on one in August (OY-RUD from DAT, which is sadly scraped now). These ATR´s were originally ordered by and delivered to Finnair. They preferred the front door, so they could use jetbridges to board the passengers up in the cold north during winter

Makes me miss home 😭 I need to visit again next year. That moment you step in the airplane, you can almost feel like you’re home already. Then they bring out the biltong ❤️The cabin crew once gave me more than one packet of biltong, I think it was because I was overly excited. I hadn’t been home in a long time😂😂

I'm a big fan of Botswana, as for what I've seen they're doing some great improvements in their wealth and life quality, but I'm very curious about how really is Gaborone and the country in general. I don't know what a biltong is, so I Google la.. >> It is air-cured meat immersed in vinegar and spices. Various types of meat are used to make biltong but it is most commonly made from beef because of its widespread availability and lower costs. Other meats that can be used to prepare biltong include game meats such as ostrich or kudu.
