Nice one Wayne. Some nice houses. Really good facilities with the Gyms etc. Really like that area of CM. Bumpy ride on that cart for your arsh. I hope it wasn't a broke back mountain experience for you. Take it easy.
Wrong about the maintenance fee. Your 10000 is only for that stand alone gym/pool (which is separate from any projects there). It is actually 20baht/square waa per month for your property. Also all these projects share one "club house". No fitness/pool/park to be seen in any of the sub projects. Also don't think that last demo house has that price.. way higher. The nice thing about that project is that the doors are higher than the usual low 2m for us tall foreigners..
Yes mate, nice home that (the small one) and love the big balcony there. Only 5.3 mil baht too. Wow I could sell the house here and have 12 odd million baht left over to put in a bank account and live off the interest. Aghh man I am tempted as long as I can buy 100% in my name. The second one massive for the medium one - wow. The biggest one 8.7 mil baht and again plenty left in the bank to survive on and so much more appealing seeing it with show room furniture in it. Yeah I'd go the full monty and buy the biggest one - awesome. Thanks for sharing Wayne 🍻🤩
since that is a housing estate I was under the impression if they have 100 units they can sell 49 to nonthai nationals. Has this loophole been changed?
Nice video! The Thailand leaders are much smarter than those here in the U.S. A good example is the fact that China owns 384,000 acres here. Don't even want to get into the migration situation here. Be safe man and have a Merry Christmas.
That last place was impressive. I just saw a new condos in Portland Or. that were similar design but smaller for $2.4 Million USD! or about 85 million Bhat. Or 10 times the price. I have friend in Seattle who's property tax on her Small 70 year-old home just doubled to $2400/mo. or monthly payment on that last place. I'll send her this video and suggest she consider selling or renting her place.
@@WalkAboutWayne Albeit, it's till a lot of peanuts most of us monkeys don't have. In America, University of Pennsylvania projects, 250,000 more elderly are expected to be homeless and dying on the streets in the next 2 years due to housing costs. For many of us approaching the 'Check-out' generation, considering options outside the U.S. and U.K. such as Thailand is an option worth considering and why what you are doing is important.
No way I'm spending $150,000 for that. Not in Hang Dong. You could probably rent in there for 25k a month. Then rent a beach condo for 15k a mo. for 3 months. During The Burning Season. Average $750 a mo. For 2 places, one in the mountains and one near the beach. Then you have the flexibility of moving when you like.
You can buy a house....... you can't buy the land it stands on..... house prices rarely increase.... land prices do. I live in Chiang Mai....... I rent a 3 bed detached for 8,500 bht including fees.
@@WalkAboutWayne I worked with a missionary in Chiang Mai. He bought his house through one of his Thai office worker’s name. They had a parting of ways and she took the house. He and his family had to move back home.
Lovely houses Wayne. As brits we all like looking and talking about houses. Would love to buy the small or medium in my name but to put in thai's name, not a wise decision. Love to see more flats where we can own alright. Keep up the good work buddy excellent content as always
That pool with all greenery around it is just paradise. 😮
This estate is in a great location, just on the brow of the mountain. Lovely place.
That's a good gym. Looking sharp in your Las Vegas Raiders cap. Happy Holidays!
Thanks buddy! Happy New Year.
Very nice vlog. Big house was really nice. Thanks for showing us around 😃👍🏼
Thanks mate! and thanks for the Green Tea I'm drinking now buddy .
Can you buy a house on a digital nomad visa?
I’m not 100% on that , might be possible.
Im looking to move to thailand with an ed visa while i learn thai, and id love more vids like these but for houses i can rent
Thanks 👍
Thanks Wayne 🎅👌
Cheers Ant, Merry Christmas mate.

Nice. All prices are from the staff lady in this vlog, so I’ll go by that. Nice to hear more info thought, so thanks. I liked this area . 👍

That's the first I've heard of that rule. I'm not sure about that.
With rents so low I would never buy property in Thailand, not worth the hassle
Yes, me too 👍
@Jeff why u want to make Thailand out of reach like hell qest😅
Bought a lovely house in Hua Hin so we don't need to deal with difficult landlords etc.
I wonder how negotiable they would be , being Indian I don’t pay retail.

Thank you mate. Merry Christmas 🙏
You could build a far superior house to that for 4 million, leaving 1 million for 1 rai of land somewhere more scenic.
Sure! 👍.

Yes Jack, I liked the big house and the area. They are a bit expensive for Thai prices but when compared to the west, it's peanuts.

That last house looks good but the toliet is horrible ! xD
I can't remember the toilet but the houses were nice .

Yes Craig, always nice to look at some houses. I'll have more condo videos coming soon mate. Thanks
Not plausible for me, I don't trust anyone enough. 😅
Me to buddy
Westerners can own a house if they lease the land. No need to have a Thai partner
Is that still owning it though?
@@WalkAboutWayne the house yes, the land no
I will never own again. I prefer freedom of movement over home ownership
👍👍
