Love ❤️ house tours. Thank you for showing the details and explaining the intricacies of a Thai house. You’ve done a nice job decorating your home. The master bedroom is nice and cozy with the TV area.
Thank you so much for taking the time showing us your lovely home, Good luck with the channel and I hope you get more subscribers or supporters and God bless you and family! 🙏🙏
This is so informative! Thank you for not only showing us around but also giving relevant context and tips along the way for people (like me) who are interested in coming to live in Thailand-even little details like the value of investing in a dryer are so helpful.
Very nice home. Thank you for showing. We go in February to Koh Samui. Because we want to search where is the best place to live after work. Hope to see you Have a nice day Siri and Uwe from Germany
Did you have any issues bringing your desktop through customs? I have a real nice pc desktop box which I'd like to bring and everyone seems to have a different response about an import tax.
I enjoy your video so much! Your home is very nice. It is very big compare to the rent you are paying. Good value! What is the name of you village/property?
Hi Tony, I'm planning on relocating to Chiang Mai for retirement, and Hang Dong right where you are is one primary area I'm considering to rent a house. My question is: I won't be planning to drive a car or ride a motorbike, so I need to know whether it's going to be workable to be getting Bolt/Grab/whatever rides into old city when I want to go there, and won't kill me with the expense. Firstly, will those services go there to pick up a customer, and do you know how much it is to go into various places such as old city, Kad Farang Village, etc? Thank you.
I drive so I don't know the current rates but a year ago it would cost between 200-300 Baht to go from Hang Dong to Old City. Yes, they will pick you up but you will get sick of it real quick. You will have your request accepted by a driver and you wait. 10 Minutes later they cancel and you have to start over again. Bolt will give you a low quote but you have to pay cash with bolt. The driver accepts the fare at let's say 200 baht and when they pick you up they say 300 baht.
Thanks for the great video's !! So , if I am correct , you can only rent a house in Thailand , and not buy a house if you are a foreigner ? We are from France , retired , and thinking to move to Thailand , but as I can see , the only way for us is to ask a visum for retiring and to rent a property ?
Great video. We've been watching many videos for CM but most are from a travel POV..great to find a channel from a living aspect. Especially your videos regarding dogs. We're looking at moving to CM from Dubai..currently finalizing options to bring our dogs over. This house is perfect. What area are you in? Looks ideal.
It is possible, but I would suggest getting it inspected before you buy it. It would add to the expense however it could save you from buying a car that’s on the brink of a lot of issues. It is more than likely going to be an older car though and maybe have some cosmetic issues in that price range.
@@TheNarrowGate Thank you. Just looking at options. Planning to stay in Thailand for 2 yrs and leave for Europe for about 5 yr and want to get something I can throw away if needed when it's time to leave Thailand. Thanks for the info.
Hi, im watching you from Denmark. Thailand is on My bucket list, but maybe i missed it, but why did you want to move to Thailand? What do you do for money, do you have jobs? When moving to Thailand, did you have requirements location wise, and did they Come true? And if the air quality is so bad, why did you choose chiang May to live in? - thanks
Watch this video and maybe our first video. ua-cam.com/video/Cd5i86iTzrw/v-deo.html as for the smoke, it is annoying but it's worth putting up with to live here.
Hvad vil du her i Thailand? der er ingen franske hotdog eller negerboller til dig her hahaha hvad siger du til 20.000kr om aaret? for huslejen, eget hus med baghave som du kan dyrker noget cannabis?
Hello I love your videos . I just moved to Thailand I am trying to reach the realtor with indigo is there anyway you can put me in touch? I tried emailing but never received a response

Great video with info. Very helpful. Just a question. Could you take your computer into Thailand without difficulties?
Thanks for watching, glad you enjoyed the video. No problem bringing our computer into Thailand. 😊🇹🇭

I brought a 27 inch Mac when we came to Thailand and I had zero problems. 😊👍🇹🇭

Thank you very much. It’s about a kilometer behind Kad Farang market and a couple of blocks from Satit International school. ☺️🇹🇭

The house here made out of brick, steel and concrete not wood like in USA. And the roof is ceramic so it's more tough.

Hang Dong area. 😀
Hi. Just a quick question. Is it possible to buy a decent car for $4k that would work for 2-3 years without major mechanical problems in Chiang Mai?

The house is looking great!
Really useful! I'm coming soon from the UK, to live, for at least a year, so this is really helpful.
Thank you very much

You should hear from her soon. I just let her know about your inquiry. :-)
tony!! are you more happy to live there than in state??
Yes, very much!
I don't understand why the move there. High humidity Bad air, , bad traffic, No stove, bugs and lizards. What's the upside?
Have you been here before?
@@TheNarrowGate no my question is legitimate what's the upside of living in Thailand?
