    Spot on Joe I’ve had a Stairmate for years and probably one of the best pieces of equipment I ever bought. Totally invaluable. Love the extending platform in video part 2 also. Take care out there .

      Thank you, and you too 👍 ....look out for the Halo one if you haven't already seen it. It has a bigger surface area to sit the ladders on but just has extending legs to get desired level....I will be reviewing at a later date

    The only problem with stairmate or any other platform. Is when it comes to wallpapering the difficult to reach areas. You have to stretch to one side and take all hands off the ladder.

      Hi there, I use a platform usually when papering awkward high area's which means I have both hands free and no stretching.
      I will always set up so there is no stretching involved at all.
      All the very best, Joe

      Hi David, I can't remember where I bought it now tbh....im presuming you mean the extendable platform? Just Google little giant extending platform and you should get some results. I did just that when I bought mine, but they are a little more expensive now

      I've had it years jack, and I bought it online through ebay. If you struggle to find one, Halo have one that does the same thing although it is a little bigger but lighter weight

      @@jackwardley3626 I'm not sure tbh...but .I don't see why not? It's a larger platform....its possibly not as safe due tuneit not having sides?

    Stairmate are no longer manufactured. The other company mentioned on screen is called 'hailo' not 'halo' btw, was finding lots of links about the video game when trying to google it :P

    Nice use of a stair mate, but personally I wouldn't risk Mrs Miggins life by leaving trip hazard sheets all over her gaff. Just asking to get sued. Plastic film does a much better job of protecting the carpet and isn't nearly so dangerous.

    • @JoeProDecor
      @JoeProDecor  5 років тому

      I get you Juan, but I use extending poles that secure the sheets in place so they don't move and cause a trip hazard. Also, I dont allow anyone to use the staircase whilst the platform is erected as a safety precaution 👍
      Thank you for your comments

      Plastic adhesive protection is very good, but I still cover with temporary dust sheets as the plastic is itself a safety hazard if it gets wet
