How To Paint The Top Of A Staircase... It's time to decorate your staircase, one of the hardest areas in your home to decorate. Why? Because the walls and ceilings up the staircase are very high and are hard to reach.
This video is a demonstration of one method you can use to enable you to reach the top of your staircase to paint.
All you require is a ladder and some wood, however we recommend using a scaffold board.
Ensure that you position your ladder in a safe place where it will not move, then position your wood across from our landing to you landing ensuring it is level and will not move.
Now you can paint the top of your staircase!
Top Tip: Cover the top of your ladder with a towel to stop it marking your walls.
Top Tip: Take you paint to the area you are painting so you don not have to walk unnecessarily across your plank.
Please note: working at heights is dangerous and you should ensure that your ladder and wooden board is safe, secure and fit for purpose to avoid accidents.

Hop up on the landing will give you an extra foot or two but remember be carful it is dangerous 😊

My fear of heights could never, I wobble on a two step ladder and takes me 24 hrs to muster the courage to come down from the loft 🤦🏽‍♀️ I just get a long pole and sellotape a paintbrush to the end and very slowly attempt a straight line, existing coving helps 😂😂
