Thanks for the vid. My original instincts did drive me to hit towards backhand backcourt but my opponents seldom return with backhands like that nor did they return without angles, so my follow ups were not as close to the net as demonstrated. Maybe I will try hitting flatter & faster high returns to force it to happen. Thanks
Sir, one question. The player serves high and gets a return on backhand. Each time the player is returning on net with a backhand whereas the ideal return in such circumstances should be a backhand clear. So why no mention of that ?
Make the opponent do a backhand so the his hand and the body goes back except the head and after that do the smash or drop or any cross-court movement now the thing I just need to know how to handle the shuttle
Hey coach, is it advisable for me to hit to the dead zone as a return to the high serve? Maybe like a half smash or something, just to start putting pressure on the opponent?
0:35 but our opponent can also cross block your smash. Then this tactic doesn't work. I notice this happens a lot when you play at higher level against better people.
What would be visually helpful is you and your opponent wore contrasting coloured clothes. You both look so alike that it is impossible to tell who is doing what in the slo mo replays and where to focus
Excellent! Tactical videos like this is exactly what UA-cam is missing.

pls make a video on astrox 99 [review]
Big fan of you sir from Pakistan
Nice video, any tips on how to not keep missing the shuttle on high lifts? The lighting is not very good where i play and i lose sight of the shuttle.
Hmm then it’s tricky, you must be able to focus on the shuttle to aim for it 🤷♂️
@@BadmintonFamly yep plus i wear glasses so light reflection is very bad. Thanks for the reply. Great channel
Sir, one question.
The player serves high and gets a return on backhand. Each time the player is returning on net with a backhand whereas the ideal return in such circumstances should be a backhand clear.
So why no mention of that ?
Yes i can do that for sure, but most cases the play short. If the long backhand comes you still have time to move back and cover that one💪🏻
Thanks 👍
What about in doubles??
In which country you are playing
Denmark 🇩🇰
Nice
May I know what tension you’re using?
32lbs💪🏻
0:40 sir, what shall we do to wrongfoot him if he puts the smash in the cross-court corner?
Go for the short return to the backhand side (your forehand side) that´s a good choice...
Wow very helpfull video ❤️👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks🙏🏻
Fantastic
thank you very much sir.i will prove it.
Good to hear, good luck on this💪🏻
Nice video 👌👌 but your opponent is not to good because he can't able to receive your service return other wise nice game play
How much lbs (string)is there on your racket
Around 32lbs💪🏻😎
Excellent video
Amazing 👍
Thanks so much 💪🏻
Why did u choose the astrox 100 zz?
Its actually ZX, its good feeling and power and perfect weight balance💪🏻
Make video on strok practice
Can you do same for low serve?
Sure👍🏻
Make the opponent do a backhand so the his hand and the body goes back except the head and after that do the smash or drop or any cross-court movement now the thing I just need to know how to handle the shuttle
I know this is rare, but how about left hander vs right hander?
I will look into that later on 💪🏻
sir please help how to return serve for left hand opponent
Should be kinda similar thoughts on this just mirrored of a right hand 🤩🧐

Hey coach, is it advisable for me to hit to the dead zone as a return to the high serve? Maybe like a half smash or something, just to start putting pressure on the opponent?
Sure that is also a good choice😎
What does straight cut mean?
The classic cut shot but not cross court 💯
Great video
Thanks 🙏🏻
Super
Coach please make video on overhead deception
We have on the channel👍🏻
@@BadmintonFamly Ok coach
0:35 but our opponent can also cross block your smash. Then this tactic doesn't work. I notice this happens a lot when you play at higher level against better people.
Yes true but still much more tricky to apply in your game👍🏻
very nice
Thanks💪🏻💯
So helpfulllllll!!!!
Great to hear 👌🏻
sir I want to purchase your plus course
Great then jump into www.plus.badmintonfamly.com 💪🏻
Tq
First 3 - hit backhand third court
What if the backhand defence is cross court
You of course needs to be ready for that, but on most levels the return will come straight, so cover the most likely return coming 💯
Great acting!
Haha thanks😜
Thanks for video but in 2:36 toss is away

Thanks for sharing timestamps 🙏🏻
Brilliant, My coward friend always use this serve technic, because he know my smash power. So he always put the shuttlecock far from middle court.
Avoiding setting up an opponents smash is literally one of the most fundamental aspects of badminton defense. It's tactical, not cowardly.
Big fan sir
Thanks 💯
1st from pak😍
Thinking backhand shuttle always return to net is false.
Person having food wrist backhand can clear or smash the shuttle
Nice sir
Thanks 🙏
Nice video
Thanks a lot 😎
First like first view first comment
2nd trick he also play cross
Im sorry, but danes would like to disagree with the short ball at least in U17M
But why the opponent always take backhand? 🤔
Because we wanted to show that scenario 💪🏻
What would be visually helpful is you and your opponent wore contrasting coloured clothes. You both look so alike that it is impossible to tell who is doing what in the slo mo replays and where to focus
Why I feel like your opponent just let you win the point 🤔 🙈🤭😅
Giving up early
Your opponent is also seeing this video
The opponent in video is good, too. Because he seems to need pretending that he can't catch the second ball.😂
Haha yes tricky to record these types of videos🤣🤣
The first move of the opponent using back hand to return the overhead shot is doomed to lose
Yep indeed 😎
Keyword: precise 😶😶😶👀
Oh yes🤘🏻
yeeeah. nice ))
Ohhh yes true 💯
Good rationale, useful video! Subbd
Very good to hear 💪🏻👏🏻
OPPONENTS ARE WATCHING THIS VEDIO
Coach you look like Elon musk haha
But but will not work if the opponent has good condition.
You can only do this easily while your opponent is weak.
In terms of backhand :
We have backhand drop
Yes
0 :Dislike👌🏸🔥
+1 like
U know that front will do high serve so u go back
