Dude is literally stronger than every kage but the 1st and 7th by the time of Boruto. It's crazy man. He's gotten super powerful. Supposedly Kishi is "saving him for something special." I thought to become the Hokage after Naruto again, but now I'm just confused and the suspense is killing me.
Its still crazy that kakashi said that if he used chidori multiple times he could actually die. In the war arc dude is pretty much roleplaying as palpatine.

@@IamChristopherBones he didn't grow his Chakra you have what your born with and that's it, he lost his visual prowess which took a massive amount of his Chakra without that drain he was able to focus his reserves elsewhere

It's stated in data books, the retsuden stories, and one-shots, etc. That Kakashi's pool of chakra had grown exponentially due to TRAINING between part one to Shippuden, then from shippuden to the war, to boruto. If you don't know this, you need to re-read, re-watch, and reexamine, brother.

Purple lightning, everything kakashi should have had if he wasn't blinded by his raikiri. By that I mean kakashi really should have more lightning jutsu other than raikiri. It is shown to be his affinity and he has admitted raikiri takes roughly 1/4 of his chakra reserves. Weaker lightning jutsu really should be more a part of his arsenal, definitely would have helped him with his fight with zabuza.

@@kawaki-san6052 not according to the episode where he demonstrates the affinity test for Naruto. It crimpled, meaning lightning. Also the final stage of the rasangan was supposed to be adding the users affinity element to it. Kakashi tried doing that and got chidori, a lightning jutsu.
Curious where are you getting kakashi has an earh affinity? I know it was the first ninjutsu he uses and he has this summoning earth style, but like other basic elements it can be learned without an affinity just takes more effort and chakra.

Kakashi does have other lightning jutsu:
- Lightning beast he used against pain which is a middle range jutsu he seem to be able to change it's trajectory after it's released .
- Lightning clone which work like a regular clone with the added bonus it strike whoever destroy it with lightning release strong enough to paralyzed the weapons making pain.
- Lightning link which he used in the war arc to cut V2 tail beast cloak gigantic arm.
Also more lightning would help him at all against Zabuza because he would need to pinpoint Zabuza location first.
Kakashi couldn't rely on the sharingan visual prowess since Zabuza add sealed that with his thick fog jutsu.
Come on now don't disrespect Zabuza like that don't you know how hard it is to be the first villain of any story ?
Going by Kakashi's reaction while Guy was explaining the origins of the name Raikiri, I got the impression that Guy was exaggerating.

Yeah, in the flashback it's Kakashi, Guy, and Rin on a mission. Rin goes to get help, while Guy insists on fighting everyone off. Guy gets his leg cut, and is like," omg I'm gonna die." Then Kakashi shows up and they team up holding off like 20-35 jonin. Then it flashes to a point where they're both out of chakra. The Stone Shinobi do a multi-jonin ninja jutsu, where I think 4-6 of them lay down and summon a giant lightning bolt. Kakashi suddenly forces the chakra out and runs up a mountain and cuts the multi-jonin summoned jutsu in half, never touching the ground to kill Kakashi and Guy. After that, Kakashi explains when he thought of saving his comrades the chakra came out of nowhere, then Guy made some vow to bite, chew, kick, or curse the enemy to death, blah blah blah. Then Rin shows up just in time w/ a giant squad of chunin-jonin level ninja. Thus, earning the "Lightning Blade or Lightning Cutter" moniker. If you ask me it was well deserved after what he did. Anyways, that's that.
@NajarinPrime In the data book of around the chunin exam arc Kishi wrote and I quote, "Kakashi is the strongest ninja IN the Leaf Village." At this time, that includes even lord 3rd.(although old asf). Now this is ninja IN the village so it doesn't include Orochimaru or Jiraiya for example.

He only did that cus he had Obitos 6 paths chakra + MS
He did that with sage of six paths chakra, obitos remaining chakra, double mangekyou sharingan amps and i believe he also had 10 tails jinchuriki chakra as well.
However war arc kakashi was keeping up with tobirama and kcm minato so the point still stands he's fast as hell.

To be fair. It's possible that He can use purple lightning to enhance his speed without tunnel vision.
Before gaining the Sharingan. He had always planned on perfecting the technique.
What I don't understand is why young Kakashi didn't use the Rasengan.
He knew how to make it. And it wouldn't cause tunnel vision.
Maybe he preferred the speed boost.
Chidori is an assassination jutsu, it deals piercing damage, unlike the Rasengan, so probably the Rasengan fits Naruto, who can make gigantic ones with his huge chakra reserve, more than Kakashi.
@@obitodmg5694 Chidori took 1 quarter of Kakashi's Chakra to use in Part 1. The Chidori is an offshoot of the Rasengan, using elemental chakra and seeing as to he would use the same amount of chakra if not more than the base Rasengan to try and create a lightning rasengan (Chidori is a failed attempt at merging the shape change.) costs more because of that.
He doesn't need giant ones. We saw in part 1 during the Sasuke and Naruto rooftop clash that the Rasengan is just as dangerous if not moreso.
Young no sharingan Kakashi would both be better off defensively (reaction speed and no tunnel vision.) Offensively (Overall internal and external damage.) And Chakra regulating ( Might be able to make 5 Rasengan as opposed to 4 Chidori.)
The only downside is speed and possibly noise. But Speed doesn't matter if you can't react and protect yourself.
His best bet is to open with a stealth Chidori and use Rasengan afterwards if he fails to get the stealth kill. (Assuming he has no Sharingan.)
@@jauneork278 I can aggree with you on the fact that Kakashi with no Sharingan might be better using (also) Rasengan and not only Chidori, but Kakashi with the Sharingan might be simply more used to use Chidori in his combat style.
@obitodmg5694 Well, considering it makes him faster while not giving him any downsides with the Sharingan. I can understand why someone who's chakra reserves are eaten up by the very thing that enables him to do so would want to finish a fight as quickly as possible.
And The Chidori is the best bet for someone who doesn't have the stamina to survive a drawn out battle.
We also have to figure that he actually does have a lot of Chakra without the Sharingan. So making bigger Rasengans may actually be viable for him without Sharingan.

Hey Nick, I just recently rewatched the fight between Gaara and Rasa(and other kages), but when the sand tsunami gaara sends at them is originally countered by Rasa, his eyes change like sage mode. Could it be sage mode? (His=Rasa)

He also cut down on the noise. Purple lightning is like a calm whisper to how loud chidori and lightning cutter are. Remember that Sasuke made it very clear in early shippuden that chidori and raikiri are not the same.
Raikiri: too fast for the user to see and use due to massive blindspots created by literally charging into the danger zone.

I don't think they're different techniques as much as they are the same technique with different applications. Remember when Guy said that Sasuke's and Kakashi's Chidori were just a hand chop? Or how Lee had a named move that was just him kicking a fool three times in the air?

“Chidori” (a thousand birds) and “raikiri” are not the same technique.
Chidori is a frontal jab, if I am recalling the English dub correctly. As for raikiri, it is a sword/blade of lightening.
Raikiri is the name Kakashi's Chidori earned by cutting lightning with it.
It's not a "lightning sword", and has never been used as such that I can recall.

Hundred healing, you still get the boost and you can live, also the 8 gates would only be useful against muzan
Yeah 100 healings basically would give the demon slayers demon level healing factor, between that and the mark/see through world, other etc buffs the slayers got by the end of the series they'd have a MUCH easier time at the infinity castle

He summoned his dog squad to jump and immobilized Zabuza so that he could hit him for sure with his raikiri.
No. He fixed his tunnel vision the moment he got sharingan.
Zabuza basically nerfed his sharingan with the hidden mist jutsu because of how well it blocks vision. And his silent killing technique meant kakashi couldnt hear him either. So he summonded the dogs because they could smell where zabuza was and immobolize him. Making zabuzas whole strategy useless.

And I'm not saying he wouldve lost, im just saying these techniques are the reason kakashi resorted to the summoning jutsu because he basically rendered his most valuable tool useless
Kakashi knew chidori before he even had the sharingan buddy. He never needed the sharingan to use the chidori.
Come on buddy, read between the lines. He's not saying "need" as if its an activation requirement, hes saying "need" because its required to make the jutsu actually useful in combat. Minato even tells him to not use it when he first sees it cause it has more downsides than upsides at first.

@NCHammer23 I don’t know if I should ask this here or someplace else but I’m curious……Kakashi awakened Susano with the use of Obito eyes. If Obito had managed to pull off that same feat instead of Kakashi. Would it have been the same (powers & looks etc) or would it be something else entirely.
All the MS related abilities are Obitos not kakashis so it would be the exact same.

Whenever this topic comes up, I always ask the same question: Why is an entirely new jutsu needed to simply move slower? What's stopping him from just doing the chidori at a managable speed?

I do not understand how the chidori/raikiri causes severe tunnel vision to the point where one needs a sharingan in order to use it properly and make your turns, but the speed granted by the 3rd gate and up Lee and Gai can maneuver and attack multiple targets with ease and they don't even have hey dojutsu that enhances visual perception
Because that’s just their constant travel speed. They’re always practicing to move faster, and at imperceptible speeds
For the Chidori, you suddenly amp your movement much faster than you’re used to fighting in combat
Also the Chidori pretty much requires you to constantly be moving at max speed
In Gates, Lee and Guy can stop and assess the situation, and then run up to someone however they want, and hit them however they want. And for the most part, they’re fighting similarly to their normal fighting style. Just stronger and faster
It’s supposed to be because you run in a straight line. Not doing so lowers your striking power so you might not pierce target.

Question - You said that Uchihas couldn't just "swap" eyes as they need to fill the demon's all four eye sockets thus, the one getting the EMS has to make sure that their original eyes aren't used by anyone so like if after all these years someone found sasuke's og sharingans and implant them in their own eye sockets would sasuke lose his EMS????
It's Kakashi using sharingan that uses so much chakra iirc. That's why he keeps it covered until he needs it. He can't use it naturally because he's not Uchiha. Which makes me wonder if Ao from the mist has the same trouble using his stolen Byakugan.
