Making a simple leather bi-fold wallet turned into a bit more of an advanced leather project which included skiving the leather edges.
I used 1.4mm thick vegetable tanned leather and the complete wallet has been hand stitched with the traditional saddle stitched.

Great video my man! I do wish we had seen a little more of the step-by-step assembly of the wallet - though I appreciate you not wanting to give away all the details of a new design/product you're likely to sell.
    Keep it up!
    And thank you.

This video was more a behind the scenes of my process from design to making. We will do a step by step sometime. Regards Terrick

I have just discovered your channel and I am enjoying it very much! I sew clothes, quilts, crochet, knit, embroider etc. and I would love to learn to do leather work. I would love to make my husband one of these Bi-fold wallets for his birthday! Thanks for the great videos!

      Hi Linda
Thanks for the encouraging comment. I'm sure you would enjoy leather crafting as well and probably be very good at it too.

Hey man. Love the channel, lpvenyour work. Feedback would be that alot of techniques were skipped over. Would be handy to perhaps make a longer video and talk through more of the decision making process as you go

Terrick, I'm new to leatherwork and for the past month or so I've been completing a simple leather project every day. Today's project was this bifold. Thank you for the pattern. I really like it. Can I ask for your opinion on using Wickett & Craig English Bridle Leather (2.5-3oz (1.0-1.2mm)) for this project? Is there another veg tan leather that you like right now for wallet making?

I have only heard good reports on wickett & Craig English bridle leather but I have never worked with it myself. I love all veg tan leather so I don’t have preference to one in particular. Well done in making all your projects.

@@CHARTERMADE I ordered a panel of the W&C English Bridle, in addition to some CW Buttero and some Badalassi Carlo Vacchetta. So many great leathers to try. Thanks again!
