She is a lot more relaxed than closer to when Sierra was a little baby. I totally being less relaxed with a defenseless child on board. I agree 100% that she looks great, healthy and relaxed. She is quite a good sailor.
I came across your channel last night by accident and can honestly say, multiple videos later that it’s the longest I’ve ever spent watching a single source on youtube or wherever else online for that matter…I couldn’t sleep so ended up watching for over five hours. Absolutely love(d) it ! You ‘guys’ rock and I look forward to watching so much more material over time ⛵️🙏👌👍
the passage videos and the boat work videos are my faves. i love that feeling of when the journey becomes the destination and then seeing what it takes to make that happen!
@@svdelos The passage videos and the diving and shore excursion videos are my favs. I've seen plenty of boat work vids from you and other channels. My preference would be 20% boat work max. The boat work vids that most intrigue me are when seagulls blot out what Brian is saying. Subtitles there... maybe? 🤣🤣🤣🤣 More Sierra cam would be nice too. Thank you.
Been following you guys for a few years now, and I've noticed that you guys seem to be at your best and brightest while en route to your next destination. There's a "glow" about you that beams with an intangible spirit that just inspires joy and a sense of greater purpose. It's like the sense of joy you feel when you see someone doing what they came to this earth to do. Don't get me wrong..... When you're anchored & sharing the people and cultures of your destinations, it's fun to watch. But man, that gleam of spirit in your eyes while sailing is inspiring. You guys even look younger! Thanks for sharing your journey.
13 plus years of DELOS! That's more than M.A.S.H and way more episodes. I've watched them all and some several times. And WAY WAY MUCH MORE BETTERer than M.A.S.H too! And NEVER give up Ramukanji either!
I don't know why.. but this video just hit the spot. I'm dealing with some difficult health issues which involve a lot of pain and constant exhaustion, and this video just hit the spot. the editing was perfection. so often editors seem to think to keep people's attention that they need to do rapid fire short shots and it makes it hard to watch. these videos aren't video. games. or in my opinion shouldn't be. and the editor of this video just seemed to hit the right flow. So well done. You conveyed the pace of a long voyage. I just can't complement you enough. And Even thought I know that we don't know each other, I felt such a wonderful connection to the shear beauty of your experience. Even the shot of Sierra conked out was perfect. I think living with such a deep connection in nature gives one a sense of timing that hits a deep spot in a person. Its hard to explain, but I lived 24 years in Yosemite and cherish that flow. When life is perfectly balanced with beauty, excitement, enchantment, and fulfillment that it slows down into these moments of shear joy in even a BLT.. I could taste it. Thank you so much for taking us along. I wish that I could afford to be a Patron.
Changing crews in and out for the different passages always means a slightly different dynamic, I could be wrong, but it seems like this crew's dynamic is hilarious laughter, really enjoying the passage episodes. I was thinking when I first started this week's episode, I don't get this excited to watch any of the tv shows that I frequently follow. With those I have the attitude like, eh I can watch it on demand whenever I have time, with your channel, I get home from work Friday afternoons, get the dogs walked and settled back down, then sit my butt in a chair and watch the newest episode of SV Delos... The funny thing, and of course purely by coincidence (heavy sarcasm) it's always 4:20 when I turn your channel on, my own celebration of the start of the weekend! Keep on laughing!!
I spent 12 out of my 20 years in the Navy stationed on 4 ships. I sailed across the Pacific ocean 2 times and across the Atlantic 3. Of the ship board years long passages were my absolute favorite times. A 450 foot ship is nothing like a 53 foot sailing yacht, but long days at sea were very much like your days at sea. I spent a lot of time just staring at the ocean, much like you. I believe that many sailors have done the same, reflecting on life, and our time living it. Love you guys, and at 77 years of life I truly wish I could live like that again!
Oh wow, you've got some miles under your belt for sure! So interesting that even though our crossing experiences are very different in a lot of ways, at the heart of it the feeling and connection with the ocean is the same :). Thanks for following along on the journey with us!
The savoring of slowed time and simple pleasures are what I like while on vacation, and especially camping. Sailing across an ocean seems like camping and vacation every day (as long as there are fair winds with no problems) 👍🏼
Love the long passages, getting work done, food provisioning ( lots of other things) then off on another adventure. So many places I can only dream of going. Delos takes us on an adventure of a lifetime each week, thank you thank you thank you from the bottom of my heart. Brian Kazza Sierra and crew CHEERS all the best from a little place in the Southwest of England 🏴
Kazza, you are a super mom. I have so much respect for my fiancé for taking care of our home while I work. I’m sure you are more appreciated than words can express. Keep up the good work!
Thanks for refreshing old memories. In 1975 I crewed on a 35 foot sailboat from Bali to Singapore. After several delays and diversions, we had a 23 day passage from the south coast of Java through Sunda Strait to Singapore. There were many afternoon storms and we were rarely out of sight of land. We had no fancy electronics or communications. Our paper charts were quite meager in the part where they were needed the most. With just three people on board, even being seasick wasn't sufficient excuse to shirk taking a shift on the helm or in the kitchen. The heat was intense and the waves short and choppy. Sleeping my first night in the non-moving bed of a cheap air-conditioned hotel in Singapore is a glorious memory. I was so happy to get off that darn yacht. BUT - almost 50 years later - I retain a friendship with my sailing companions. I long for the sea and regret that I never again got the chance to ocean sail. I have have travelled and even taken a ferry across that same Sunda Strait.
So nice to see what a day in the life of your passage was like! I also truly appreciate the opportunity to just BE on passage. Whatever is going on in that present moment is all that matters and that is rare these days. 😊
I KNEW you guys were Olokai people! I’ve been a wearer of these (only flips worthy of my tired old feet) premium flips for a very long time. I am very happy to see them sponsoring your journey. It’s gotta be … (watch this) a perfect fit. 😊
Videos like this from SV Delos always brings my blood pressure down and makes me feel like I am right there, on the edge of forever with you guys... I could watch this 24/7
If I was 40 years younger I would love to be on this Pacific crossing with you. I am something of a mechanic, I can learn the ropes, I am not afraid of heights and I have never been seasick in my life. But alas now at 70 years old I can only enjoy your voyages on Delos vicariously. But I do own two hats, a rash guard and a burgie flag, so I do have reminders of Delos all around the house. Fair winds and following seas.
Great great great great video! Watched you from the beginning conquering oceans. Your videos are enlightening to all that watch them. Thank you so much for the reprieve from life’s toil of for so many of us that watch you. The videos are so well recorded and edited. All though they be second nature to you by now, your craftsmanship and skill are evident with them. I actually escape every time I watch.
Another fabulous video guys! Thanks for the inspiration to slow down, drink a mug of coffee with my kids, and just focus on the important things. Can’t wait for next weeks video!
At the end when Brian said he was in such a hurry to help Kazza with the fish that he thought he put his pants on but they were Conners and Brian wasn't wearing anything under those pants 😂😂😂😂😂 I LOOOOOOVED this video ❤ It was really good! Y'all have a great crew! Thanks so much for sharing!
Dudes, you’re fun, fast and awesome. Sharing the good the bad and the ugly with us the "land people". Just love this simple things videos, no filter baby. Keep it up
I am jealous you beat us to it, as we are presently preparing my 1985 Catalina 38, SV Zoe, for the jump from Ventura to Cabo, then the same route across to The Marquesas and beyond. Maybe we can eventually catch up, LOL!
Hey Delos family thanks for putting a video out It really does make my day I could watch y'all content all day so just wish you did more night videos edited or live it doesn't matter so feel free anytime you want to surprise us just hit the play botton and let it roll say for an entire weekend that would be cool I would love to sponsor that video in all seriousness we could never get tired of joining you as you cross your passage I do miss your brother and his entertainment while he would just be an added bonus safe travels can't wait for more videos
Feels good to be watching your videos again, they are so relaxing. It was good to see both of you again and it was a treat to see Sierra again, she is getting cuter and cuter. Thanks for a great video as always.
Kazas comment on best bit about being on passage, 'restrict what you have to do'. Think this is also important incase challenging conditions come along the crew aren't tired and stressed so can cope with whatever the ocean throws at you.
Been watching a good few years now and have thought over the past few months that Kazza has never looked better. Definitely at the top of her game.
Maybe she's pregnant again.🤰
Kaz Rocks. : ) i love her heart full of pure happiness : )
Yes I agree. Very stressed at the start having a baby onboard but I think she has found her groove. Very pleased for you mumma xxxx❤
She is a lot more relaxed than closer to when Sierra was a little baby. I totally being less relaxed with a defenseless child on board. I agree 100% that she looks great, healthy and relaxed. She is quite a good sailor.

Hannah makes such a great and happy crew member. That smile of hers is priceless.
Agreed , what a pretty face and smile
Yup she's very easy on the eyes
the passage videos and the boat work videos are my faves. i love that feeling of when the journey becomes the destination and then seeing what it takes to make that happen!
Exactly! Such a satisfying feeling to have all the hard work pay off, so glad you enjoyed this one :)
Loved this! You guys all get along so well!!!

Woo Hoo !! Kazza is preggers ! Gonna need a bigger boat cpt Bri.
@@PtangPtangBiscuitBarrelSmith , if you can't find crew, MAKE crew! ;-)
This is turning out to be a great series. Thanks again, SV Delos crew!
So glad you're enjoying the passage vids, we've had such a blast putting these together and reliving it all :)
Burke just a note, i love your BBQ videos.
