Just bought one and it’s GLORIOUS! It is the nicest most comfortable and luxurious car I’ve ever driven, had or ridden in. I’m literally afraid to drive it. I recently started getting more comfortable with it and not only is it beautiful, and comfy it’s fun to drive!!!! It hugs the curves and the inline 6 is fast!
We just brought home (like three days ago) a 2025 CX-90 Preferred. It's the nicest vehicle I've ever driven. Probably the nicest vehicle I've ever ridden in. I was already a fan of Mazda, but this thing is completely over the top in every category. Comfortable, drives like a far smaller vehicle, plenty of power, and loaded. I was concerned, when I was reading about some of the issues with the early 2024s but, as was stated in the video, these have been fixed in the 2025. It's a true joy to drive and feels very refined.
When is the turbo premium sport going to be shown? We can't even see the trim in a preview online but looking forward to the blacked out look on the 90
Stunning SUV, inside and out! My one gripe: Considering the lack of space in the third row, it would be nice if Mazda offered a second-row bench option on the top trims. This would dramatically improve the practicality of this vehicle.
@@Rockytop8118 You’re absolutely right. People like me who are thinking of replacing our 7-seater CX-9 Signatures are caught in the middle-We are forced to choose between the two. Either way, we lose.
Or, like me, you can just get a Mazda CX-70 Premium w/ only two rows, the second being a 60/40 auto-folding split bench seat w/ fore/aft adjustment. I went with the PHEV, in part so the 2.5L I-4 could be mounted front-mid longitudinal, making the rear-biased AWD even more balanced in handling & weight distribution. Thanks for noting the fixes to, for example, A/T smoothness, made since 2024, avail. on every ‘25 CX-70/-90. Just a personal aesthetic note: I HATE CHROME, so seeing how much brightwork on CX-90 is replaced with sportier, more tasteful blackened CX-70 trim (incl. the 21” wheels) confirmed my decision on the latter over the former. An amazing number of people ask why, for the same price on the Premium or P. Plus trim packages, I didn’t just get a CX-90 & permanently fold that third seat row. Fascinating how people desperately want to be provided anything they perceive as available/included for free, even when they specifically do *not* want or need that thing!
In Canada at least, the second-row bench is standard on all but the very top trim with the captains chairs as an option. On the very stop trim the captains chairs are standard. This is a welcome change from 2024 and puts the CX-90 back on our short list when it comes time to replace our current vehicle.
So what's new for 2025? Lane centering now available in other trims? I have all the updates on my PHEV but still clunky for low speeds in EV and gas...
Jonathon - As a MY23 CX-50 owner, I’m curious to know if there are any tweaks or upgrades that my local Mazda dealer could make that would improve ride, handling or other features.. Any suggestions? Thanks!
Great video! I love the incremental updates that Mazda has been doing across the line. A CX-70 or CX-90 Turbo Premium Plus is on my radar to replace my 2021 CX-5 Grand Touring w/ Premium Package. This trim seems to be the sweet spot, and it's hard to justify the considerable extra cost of the Turbo S. I am down to three payments left on my lease, and Mazda's lease-to-lease incentives are certainly tempting. Too bad they don't apply to the 2025 CX-90... Not yet at least. I'm also considering the PHEV version of each model. It really depends on which leases better, and driving them of course. I wish the PHEV got better mileage once the EV-only range is depleted. My major concern is if these will comfortably fit in my garage. And stay safe with Hurricane Helene, or probably Tropical Storm Helene by the time it gets to you!
I have the CX70 PHEV. I love it for what it is. I've never had Mazda before so with this being my first one there are a lot of annoyances I have with it, but the perks definitely outweigh my annoyances. I will say that for the CX70 PHEV leases, there was (last month) a huge incentive. I believe the cash back was $7500. I'm not sure if this month that incentive carried over.
Are LED DRL same as in Turbo S active lights or just a piece of shiny plastic ? How about rear , is full LED strip lighting up like in S models ? I like these wheels better than Turbo S
Im glad Mazda made improvements. I just wish we got a bench option on all trims and no huge transmission hump in the 2nd row. Test drove one and it was great, just not as roomy for folks who want to seat 3 comfortably in the 2nd row.
Got a 2024 CX-90 PHEV premium. Seat doesn’t automatically move back for easy exit and entry, seats and side mirrors doesn’t move to each memory saved position automatically by detecting which remote is being used. Side mirrors doesn’t even move to each programmed seating position, which is stupid, why have memory seating position if the side mirrors doesn’t adjust to each position. My $34k Honda accord does all of that. Mazda really cheaped out by leaving those out. Just glad it was a lease. Going back to Honda. First and last Mazda. Hopefully by that time, the Honda Odyssey will finally be available in a hybrid.

Ive 2024 CX 90 Signature I don't see any difference between both yet I love it ❤

@@bill7481 but then they would lose the practicality of their other model, the cx-70. Likely why they don't do it

What's the diff with the 2024 model?
Question for you... Does the 2025 90 PHEV premium plus have lane centering? I see the 70 phev premium plus has it.
Can you do a Mazda 3 carbon edition sedan non turbo? I’m interested in one but there are no good videos on it

anyone got a timestamp for any part that is different for 2025?
that black door handle is want on my cx90 …. how much are they?
Have yours wrapped black

Is the 2025 models have improved lane centerimg driver assist compared to 2024 models ?
Nope

Read the reviews from current owners at Edmunds or Consumer reports. TheCx-90 is not as reliable as expected
At this price the digital instrument cluster should have the option to show maps and direction. Also, no ambiant lighting Mazda?? Come on!
Ambient lighting...FOR THE LOVE OF GOD Mazda!
Agreed.
My Mazda premium has ambient lighting!

So get the recall in your '24 and you essentially get a '25
So basically its same vehicle compared to 2024 . Nothing special or new , why not just say so ?
CX-90..
they should have added adaptive suspension in the higher trims at least and a full touch screen and massage front seats.
