Instead of doing all that copying and pasting, just hit the "update labels" button and the format in the 1st label will be copied to all other labels. Also, "Preview Results" is a quicker way to see what the final result will be without generating a whole new file. Aside from those time savers, I found this video incredibly informative and useful. Our 1st go at printing barcodes involved downloading barcode fonts and ultimately resulted in barcodes that wouldn't scan...didn't even know about MERGEBARCODE. After watching this, I had scannable labels for our entire warehouse within an hour. Thanks for sharing.
Are you able to add additional text below or above the barcode? For example, I want the SKU as the barcode, but would also like the product description on the label for easier identification. I assume its just going to a new line and adding (or however it is identified in our excel sheet)?
hello, thank you for the work. while trying the method you show, word collapses when we select and open the recipient xlsx file. do you have any idea for how to sort it out?
My data has 3 fields that when combined and hypens added between has the information that we want for our bar code. Example: 1-111-111 How would you do this with three separate fields and the hypens? Thank you for the tutorial.
following the commands but I get the error code "error! bookmark not defined" I am using word 2013 and the Microsoft website this version does support barcodes
your video may get to the people who know nothing you know? so i glad that you are have an existing list of barcode.... i dont have this one so the other doesn't matter
Thank you for the constructive criticism. We came up with the barcode numbers ourselves. It's a six-digit alphanumeric code we use internally to track stock. The website shown at 3:30 will give you more details on the kinds of barcodes you can make. Some of those use registered barcodes (like ISBN for books), and some don't. It all depends on the application you would like to build.
Please let me know if there is other information that you would find helpful relating to barcodes or mailing labels. Thanks!

Hi Pharos team,
I am looking to pay someone to create a custom label for our filing system. Do you do his type of work?
