Thank you, sir! I was trying to use Excel data for a tax form automation (57 pages per company, 71 companies in total) trough Macros and VBA, but failed superbly. This method of Mail Merge not only turned out way more easier, but it also fits perfectly for a completely different type of document requizit all along. And all thanks to you! This was the best explanation I found and no fluff. All other tutorials talk about just merging directly but the way you explained being able to merge any information on any column in spreadsheet made a world of difference. I spent days looking for what you explained.

Thank you very much. In my secretarial career, I used to do mail merges fairly often, but it's been several years since I retired and I just needed a refresher. I was most impressed with a feature that I never used before, and that's to use mail merge to send to email addresses. Cool!

Excellent presentation. I've been working on how to add attachments during a mail merge. I've seen a couple of addons or apps and know you can write code; however, is there a way to use only MS Word Mailings features?

Thank you so much for this great video. I haven’t done a mail merge since 2006 so I forgotten a lot. at first I almost had a heart attack when I saw it was 15 minutes but then I remembered why it takes 15 minutes to explain a mail merge, lol. You’re great and thank you for such an amazing video.
It would also be useful to know how to edit or format the date, number, and currency in the same mail merge. This may be the most difficult part of the mail merge when you use different date formats or other aspects.
This was extremely helpful as it made Mail Merge accessible.
