Learned this the hard way when my ex said it TO ME the day I found out she cheated on me. I quickly there after also learned she was still in a relationship when ours started 2 years prior.
This made me realize I need to get better with answering my phone and being on time. As a true crime addict, I hear so many stories where the family, friends or coworkers of the murder victim knew something was off right away because the victim was usually prompt and always answered calls. So they were able to discover pretty much immediately that they are missing. With how horrible I am with responding to calls/texts, I think it would take like a good week before my family even knew anything was wrong. Lol I’m so serious. If I missed calls all day, they’d just think that was the norm. This teaches me to get better with my phone and my timeliness. A lesson to take away from this tragedy.

Fotis claimed innocence, even with all the evidence pointing square at him, so he took the coward's way out. Michelle clairly aided him through the all deed out of loyalty or whatever, and still, he traded her for Anna. What did she thought when she started dating a married man? "I am so much better than his wife, he would never cheat on me. We are on this for ever!" She was a willing participant, she deserves to pay.
Why don't cops ever turn on lights when searching a home. I understand using a flashlight UNTIL you turn on a light, but they could be missing blood drops or other evidence. It just never made sense to me!
The green light is especially good at contrasting certain stains (red comes to mind). The light of a flashlight also makes it harder to miss stuff when scanning g quickly.
It's because they can't waste time looking for a switch and if the lights are turned on and then off, they are blinded temporarily and that's dangerous. Turning the lights on distracts you and it disables you if you lose them.
Because they’re investigating a scene as is. Most of the time they’re going around without gloves on as most calls aren’t expected to be a major crime scene, and their purpose when canvassing an area is to come in and inspect it as is without tainting anything with their own DNA or manipulation (ie: turning on lights). Sometimes, there are instances where it can’t be helped, such as footprints or touching something and accidentally leaving fingerprints before the area is known to be an active crime scene. So, to minimize everything as much as possible, they try to leave most of the major stuff alone … which lighting would fall under that category as they’d intentionally be manipulated how a scene is seen. Once photos and most evidence is collected without turning on lights, then they will usually turn them on and go over things again to see if anything was missed or is more visible. Every little detail at a crime scene is important, and lighting can very well be one of them with noting how a scene visually is before and after lights are added.
Dumps evidence under a camera, takes his cell phone with him and is in the midst of a divorce making him a major suspect. But he wore gloves lol brilliant mastermind

I will never understand the mentalities of people who commit crimes like this. Not only is it twisted, it's moronic. What did all of this achieve? I thought that too, but then reminded myself that they didn’t realize they were walking into a crime scene. Should just be standard though to protect themselves and any potential evidence
One of the heartbreaking details I noticed was that on the missing persons flier, it said “Height: 5’8” Weight: 120 lbs” - the poor woman was incredibly underweight when she disappeared and I’m sure she was under intense psychological stress ❤ Such a selfish and disgusting crime!
I woke my husband up, yelling about it, I'm like... it's 2017!! When they opened that 1 random cabinet in the kitchen, I was baffled... but walked past everything else

When searching her house it was dusk, the house was incredibly dark. I agree turning on lights upstairs the way they did with the garage and basement may have helped them see the tiny blood drops beforehand, and they would have stopped handling doors and cabinets with bare hands. They touched blood spattered doorknobs multiple times before realizing there was blood on them. The house was dark. Else they wouldn't need their flashlights except for dark corners. I don't understand why not hit a light switch just to improve visibility. It was definitely not broad daylight

@TwoBs If you are going to touch things, and step everywhere-than turn on the lights!
It’s truly wild that bail is a thing for insane crimes like this
Dumps evidence under a camera, takes his cell phone with him and is in the midst of a divorce making him a major suspect. But he wore gloves lol brilliant mastermind
Cluster b always think they are very clever that can fool everyone but they are completly stupid. I suppose this was a narcissist the most stupid one of the cluster b type

The audacity to unalive yourself and still proclaim you are innocent.
It sucks that we are so used to hearing terms like “unalive, SA, CP” that we can’t use the word kill in the comment section.
@@melissafraser2190I know it doesn't lessen what they done!? Just making up new words for stuff that is so horrific it doesn't matter what you say for it! Will be sign language then expecting to read lips!!!
@@melissafraser2190it’s because of youtube protecting children on the platform. it isn’t being PC but moreso protecting children from possibly harmful content. not that i would know why a child would be watching a video about a murder 😂
@@alextoku That's what UA-cam Kids is supposed to be for. Besides, my CSA at 12 and life of DV/ all kinds of abbreviated horrors didn't magically not happen because I was a minor. Censoring people trying to speak out about their trauma on a platform designed from the get go to "Broadcast Yourself"? @@ThePinsay Calm down lady it's so this video doesn't get unfairly flagged and taken down by UA-cam...
A cowardly move by killing his wife, the mother of his children. Then, an even more cowardly move by taking himself out to avoid the justice he deserved.
Love the longer content. Thank you!
I will never understand the mentalities of people who commit crimes like this. Not only is it twisted, it's moronic.
What did all of this achieve? A mother is gone, the murderer didn't get anything they wanted, the co-conspirators are going to spend 20 years in prison each. The kids lost both parents and they have to live with the knowledge that their dad murdered their mom.
You have to be a special kind of stupid to wake up one day and think committing a crime like this is somehow going to fix your problems.

This case and a LONG one on top of it? Thank you!!!!! I can't wait. Such a tragic story. xo
If I was her, knowing my ex is unhinged, I would've rented a place in some type of building or a townhouse. There's no way in hell I would've had a house that big. There are too many ways he could've gained entry.
I think there are a lot of murder cases in smaller houses. No one is safe. Although I must agree the house is over the top. I think my entire house is the size of their living room.
I agree! As soon as I saw that house in the woods I knew she was doomed. I dont understand why she was smart enough to keep the divorce under wraps ,but then move into that place! So sad for her kids. 😢
Once a cheater , always a cheater
My heart breaks for those poor children. I hope they get unconditional love from their grandparents and that despite all the horrors they've lived through the rest of their lives are easy and with the least suffering as possible.
They literally lost everything.😢
At first I thought, oh great another video on this case…but you guys made a great video and actually had way more info and videos I’d never seen before. 🎉
Shouldn't be able to get bail just because your rich i think thats so wrong 🙄
In the first time, but after, the day he died, he has no money to the bond, 500.000, so he had went to jail.
Welcome to capitalism, the sliding fee scale of justice. I knew a guy was caught with hundreds of government documents absolutely guilty committed business fraud, he still walking around free just because of money.
M.T was younger than Jennifer?! Wow...I can't tell
Wow, what a toxic murderer, he took Jennifer's life, he destroyed michelle traconis' life dragging her down to his level. Two extended families are devastated. 6 children have no mother.
During police interrogations on most of these channels, the audible is terrible, the channel developers should subtitle the interrogations, just saying!
I wrote a comment about this, could not understand anything in the interview parts of the story.
We're talking murder and Fotis, with the financial means to flee, was bailed out? Incredible!!!
Nice touch to hear the condolences to the family. And the heart felt mention of the victim. RIP.
What a well done episode. I was interested from beginning to end. I appreciate the light touch on narration, too. Just great info.
Why the hell aren't the officers wearing gloves?? 🤦♀🤦♀
🙌 Can’t stand it when an officer does this!!! It happens far far too often, I’m only slightly educated in Forensic’s and I’d never do this!
Because they are extremely stupid.

That is so true. By the time I was almost murdered by my ex boyfriend I was 5’4” and weighed 115 pounds. I had lost 30 pounds from the abuse.
No gloves, and touching her bag and all kinds of stuff..... Are you even kidding me?
Local cops 🤷♂
That's what I was thinking, cereal box certs for sure....
I woke my husband up, yelling about it, I'm like... it's 2017!! When they opened that 1 random cabinet in the kitchen, I was baffled... but walked past everything else
You’re right, unbelievably stupid. The detectives would be supremely pissed
😂😂 Ah yes because the cops are supposed to see into the future and know she was actually murdered. Are cops now expected to automatically treat welfare checks like they’re CSI for a murder scene?

You got that right, it's kinda fun on UA-cam for kids, it makes sense now why many of the comments are pretty shallow across UA-cam. I just thought people were thick as bricks. Especially when they divulged their sob stories of domestic violence like they want pity or something, so cringey and it makes them look pitiful so I guess that's why they do it. The sob stories and broken hearts are just so dry but now I know why, their must be only Children and young adults.
Money. He can bail himself out same day with $6 million nail money lol
She really helped a guy who was having an affair with her kill his wife who he met from cheating on his first wife. She must’ve really believed that the third time would be the charm 👀

If they thought it was ok once, they’ll do it again. Maybe not with the same person, or the same reasons. Can’t change their morals with something like that.
@Beyond Evil, great video! I watched the entire trial and you explained it really well in such a short time. Thank you!
What an evil & clearly selfish person Fotus was ... not to mention punk that would leave his children w/o a mother, and even some ex gf to face the rest of it alone. Glad she was found guilty, bet the jurors didn't have that hard of a time figuring it out. Smdh... seems like Fotus was a narcissist too.
Can't imagine how people even think of doing something like this.
Those poor children losing both parents.
How do you attain a girlfriend when you are accused of killing your wife? What woman is that desperate/needy? Fotis strikes me as extremely selfish and full of himself. Killing the mother of his five kids, then killing himself? What happened to all of his paternal concern? smh
Right smh but I can bet it’s because his status and wealth that he had plus broken promises that were like music to her ears such a sad case all around
Why dont the police ever just turn the lights on when searching a house?
When searching her house it was dusk, the house was incredibly dark. I agree turning on lights upstairs the way they did with the garage and basement may have helped them see the tiny blood drops beforehand, and they would have stopped handling doors and cabinets with bare hands. They touched blood spattered doorknobs multiple times before realizing there was blood on them. The house was dark. Else they wouldn't need their flashlights except for dark corners. I don't understand why not hit a light switch just to improve visibility. It was definitely not broad daylight
So glad she was found guilty. It was that video of her helping him that got to me. Evil woman
Oh crap I didn't even know that,at least some measure of justice,I pray something of her is found,RIP Jennifer you deserved a whole lot better 💔✝️ Thank you ,I'd still be in the dark 🕶️❤

Pretty ridiculous but that‘s how rich homes are.
I was a cleaner once and dredded cleaning a house with 3/4 toilets lol
it would add pressure to the decision making process: which bath should I take now? Should I make a schedule? Why 9? Should I add to 14 to make the schedule easier? First world problems...better just have 2 baths. Maybe 3. To be away from the wife and kids.

This is so tragic. Who murders a mother of five beautiful innocent children? What kind of evil monster does that? Well done to the very observant and caring neighbour. He helped solve the case.
