An Evening With Busy Beavers (in Saskatoon)

Busy beavers at The Prairie Lily dock! This video merges several clips that I filmed last night over the course of the evening near The Prairie Lily dock. So much of wildlife photography is timing and good luck. Some evenings you could wait for an hour by the dock and not see a single beaver, but then there are evenings like last night that several beavers come by. Several of the clips in this video are the same beaver, because one adult stuck around for a while and made lots of scent mounds and did lots of sniffing around. In any event, I will save you the trouble of waiting patiently by the dock by sharing all of the action that happened last night over the course of a couple of hours.
