@@kathleentyler282Funny thing is we used to think of beavers as pests. Just pests…with little to no actual value in nature(mostly because we built in their natural habitats and lost property as they did their thing). However, we have discovered beavers have a huge and necessary job in nature. Their damns and damn systems have been proven to not only resupply environments with much needed resources, but they actually filter out all the chemicals and toxins introduced by industrial processes…..and they do it more efficiently than any man made process. So yes they can be irritating(massively irritating) and potentially cause property damage. BUT we need to figure out how to work with the animals because just killing them is proving to be cataclysmic to the environment

LOL. The tree makes the most sense. What a good beaver protecting his home.
Instincts are instincts. Thank you for allowing this to happen!!
I love how she is so focused and dedicated to making the best fortress of a christmas pile
OK so I've watched this beautiful creature making her Christmas dam 5 times now. I love her tiny perfect hands and her serious thoughtful work ethic. What a privilege to be able to watch her work. She's so lovely, and you can see the intelligence in her eyes as she builds. I love her! ❤️
I love beavers, too. If you follow my drift.
Yes! Seeing her hands you can almost feel what’s going through her mind. This world is full of such amazing animals. I wish we took care of this planet and it’s children much better >__
@@gregoryedwards9097 So do I. Unfortunately, Dante was right, Earth seems to be the seventh level of Hell. I suppose it has potential if we don't destroy the planet.
You said it perfectly. How she stops and thinks....
She's stunning and brave. Super intelligent too. Also, funny.
The cuteness is staggering. 😍 She’s thorough, and she doesn’t do anything half way.
It's amusing that you would defy hundreds of years of convention and assume it's female. Feminism in all its forms is hideous.
Good boy, thank you for letting him do what comes natural. A true professional ❤❤❤
I love how the beaver just comes back with all those things haha. Like oh a rug I’ll just take this, a Christmas tree? You know darn well I’m taking that

This is the cutest thing I've seen in a long while. Bless you for helping the little gal. Animals have every right to exist and do their thing as much as we do. Bless you guys. Truly epic to be doing that for her.
Exactly!
It made me laugh even when I didn’t feel like I could this evening.
You can see her wanting to chew down the Christmas tree before realizing it was fake and then thinking to herself, "Never saw a tree like this before, but I'll make it work". LOL. So adorable.
Hello fellow Lornographer.
Love this family’s patience and non-interference!
This sweetheart is so intelligent and hard working. Beautiful baby.❤️
This is one of the greatest things I've ever had the pleasure to witness! Not exaggerating even a little! Thanks for letting him work!
As the river said to the beaver; ‘we’ll, I’ll be dammed…’ 🤓
This made me laugh so hard! Stop.I’m having a small chest pain!
Ditto
It's amazing that no one has to teach this little guy the art of dam-making! Thank you for letting him do his thing!!!! Just precious!
Just like birds don't have to be taught to build a nest (the beaver uses the mouth and two front limbs... Birds only the beak)
This is precious. They know what they are supposed to do don’t they?
Dam building is instinctual to them
Not so precious to me. These things destroy EVERYTHING. They destroyed my yard, patio, trees.......turned my backyard into a sinkhole. NOT precious.
@@kathleentyler282 you're probably living too close to them.
@@karinecarde1254 I hope that’s a joke 😂
Probably the most precious thing ever.
What an unexpectedly relaxing video (although I got a _bit_ tense as I really wanted to help him with the whole SpongeBob SquarePants uncooperative leg issue).
This was 3 minutes of pure joy and like others have said, thank you to beaver's people for providing space and materials and shelter for him to do his thing. ❤️
Yes I agree, pure joy, what an adorable little chap! The cats face was a picture, as if to say "what On earth is he doing"! It would be great to see some more of his antics! 🐱🙂
This is by far the most satisfying comment. I thought I was the only one that wanted to help out with sponge bobs leg not staying put. Either way, this was 3 minutes I didn’t know I needed ❤

It was clearly a load bearing SpongeBob. Needed that darn leg to be juuuuussstt right!

I can only imagine the shenanigans this little dude is constantly getting up to. What a beautiful and industrious creature.

Yea, and I wonder how long the humans need to just hop back and forth over it? SMH
Aww, this could be a new classic Christmas storybook, made into a heartwarming movie. Soon every household will celebrate the new holiday tradition of building their very own Christmas dams to pool the season's goodwill so that it lasts all year. Thank you, little Christmas beaver!
how sweet. cute story

The drive is real. When he grabbed the Christmas tree I just burst out into laughter. What an adorable little guy!!
He is such a wonderful beaver! Such intelligent one by just utilizing whatever he has available to fulfill his natural instincts!!!
This was an unexpected delight, and one of my now favorite video, period. What an exacting craftsman. My favorite moments were when the dog unexpectedly fell from atop the pile... you could tell he was disappointed and pondering, but left it knowing there were more important things that needed doing at the moment. The other (and my fav) was how he was so concerned with SpongeBobs legs, and so carefully flipped them out of the way not once, but twice! I love this kid.
That was my favorite, too! Beaver is quite particular, understandably so. I didn't expect to get such joy and relaxation from this Christmas damming but what a treat 💯🎄🐾
This was the highlight of my day. Simply precious. I thought I'd keel over when the stuffed animal fell off the tree. The expression on its face was just priceless!
It was a huge pondering what to do about it, and like …useless, walks away! 😅
I ❤ it! Put a Smile on my face too! That tail is just adorable!!
That must be a well trained beaver because I didn't notice any chewed up door frames and it did look like he had a lot to choose from. 🙂

Maybe it’s steel made to look like wood?
Good point..i realized the same too
@@eldermillennial8330 that would be a lot of steel maybe they give the chubster plenty of good stuff too chew on. My guinea pigs love to chew and as long as they have plenty of chew toys they don't touch their enclosure even though they could chew through it easily

Interesting take. The beavers on my property are doing just the opposite - working hard at flooding me OUT. They're neat critters; wish I didn't have to shoot them.
@@GroovesAndLandsWell they were there first, so how about YOU leave. And take your gun with you.
@@MontagZoso How do you figure they were "there first"?
Also by that logic - surely you must believe the Gazans/Palestinians should bugger off because the Israeli's were (ultimately) "there first" - considering the Israelites go back thousands of years further than then Arabs. Right??

I love beavers. I think they are just the coolest animals. As an Australian when I lived in Canada I was thrilled to see a beaver building a dam in the small creek in my town. So sad a few months later to see it had been killed. How anyone can harm these ingenious creatures is beyond me
Well to be fair, they are the 2nd most destructive animal on earth
@@big0bad0brad Not necessarily / it depends how you see them. They are being reintroduced into the UK as they will help the fight against climate change. Beaver-built waterworks create habitats for wildlife, they also boost water quality and reduce droughts and flooding. Amazing creatures. There’s a New Scientist article for more info.
