lol!
LOL. you totally beat me to it. LOL!!!
Yester Day 😂🤣😂👏👏
I was thinking the same thing. Lol
always thought bears just went up and left the den one day. did not know it was this long of a process
Me too!
guess they get attached to their homes as well
I knew they popped out periodically to, "$hit in the woods", but didn't realize it was this long of a process either.
Hibernation
Bears are cool
after careful analysis, I have discovered with all the yawning, rubbing, scratching, and excessive sleeping for many hours of the day, I too am a bear 🙂
I too am a bear! ☺
Well, I'm not proud of it, but I am chubby like a bear. I would never call a bear chubby to his or her face tho.
A sentient bear.
😂😂😂
Lol. Exactly
Great video! Thanks for not ruining it with annoying music.
yes
Great video. I live in Gilmer county GA and I have identified 7 different bears from my game camera that visit my little 10 acres.
Good stuff
What incredible, insightful footage and top job narrating it!
Can't tell if you're being sarcastic.
@@danielas2075 what is sarcastic about the narration? Maybe pull out a Webster's dictionary or Google "sarcastic" ?
The narrator is excellent. Didn't need all that background loud music seen in other videos. Just the facts about the bear. 🧸👍
The guy is obviously being honest of what we’re watching. His voice just sort of blends in well, as if he was standing to the side of the bear.
I think bears are the most beautiful animal. I really enjoyed this, and thank you very much.
Pat, they're all over my yard, feel free to come take as many pics as you want. Bring bear spray.
Hey Pat , you do realize the guy you’re thanking is a bow hunter who shoots the “most beautiful animal” while Bow Hunting! Just thought you ought to know... Sorry but someone had to tell ya...Stay tuned for our next video “How to skin a bear after you bait it and kill it” ....🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻🐻
I disagree, Lion is the most beautiful answer right next the the Tiger
They are majestic looking animals ngl
@@youhan911 I don't know about you fellows, but I want t be at the top of the food chain-- also, all those animals mentioned, are quite tasty if cooked correctly!
Well done for all your patient work. You have done us all a great service.
Thanks!
That truly is an amazing video, you were so lucky to be able to capture it and we are truly lucky you did.
Thank you for sharing.
And then they killed the bear.
Thank you so much for sharing. I always wanted to see what bears do when they come out of hibernation.
They are so beautiful.
Glad you enjoyed it
Enjoyed your video, concise, interesting and informative about the habits of this bear.
This was a really great video. Thank you for taking the time to put it together. What a silky looking boy! I know how he feels too. After a long week at work I sometimes fall asleep on Friday evening only to wake up Saturday evening to eat and go straight to bed until Sunday. It takes a while to remobilize myself. It's a slow process getting up and doing something then going back to bed for a bit, over and over. I can't imagine trying to get up after an entire winter!
Amazing footage. Give this man a national geographic award or something.
Great work! It's rare to see this kind of footage.
He sleeps for 4 months and he is still tired lol sounds like me
they actually wake up sleep deprived after hibernation and usually have to sleep for days to recuperate
Well he haven't had a meal for 4 months
@@andyf7002 how are they sleep depraved?
@@jacqueline1657 Torpor - the state of reduced bodily activity that occurs during hibernation - is not restful. By the time they emerge, hibernating animals are often sleep-deprived: Most expend huge bursts of energy to arouse themselves occasionally in the winter so their body temperatures don’t dip too low.
@@OsydeousMusic facts and they usually are hungry as shit and angry and immediately looks for food this bear probably was close to not making it if it could not stand
Never thought about what it is like for a bear to come out of hibernation...
Nice video, mate! Professional editing and voicing. Good job!
Thanks for making the effort to make this video, it is very interesting !!
Reminds me of my lazy brother sleeping, yawning, scratching, sleeping half drunk and not paying his share of rent.
Hey, if you're making him sleep in a dirt cave with no heat, why should the guy pay rent?
@@bruceparks3124 😂
Sounds like it's time for some tough love.
This is one of the coolest bear videos I've seen... Awesome job, thanks!
Hes just tired af... It takes alot of work to sleep for 4 months
it is hard work...but that's me, every weekend. :D
Bart Kogut I wish I could sleep for 4 month in the winter and not wake up till spring.
Bart Kogut lol
UTubeIsMuhKrakane Literally lol

A very handsome Big Black Bear, magnificent animal.
My spirit animal.
This video is fascinating; I really appreciate the up-close footage & descriptive narration. I’ve become entranced with the black bear ever since I found out a wayward bear was in my neighborhood. I think they are so beautiful & cute but must remember they are wild animals. Anyways, thanks once again for this educational video.
You did a great job putting that video together ! Very nice !
I learned something, thanks for posting!
Thank you so much for putting this together and sharing it.
This is by far the best footage I've ever seen! Awesome thanks for sharing . I live in Rhode Island and we are seeing more black bear sightings on the news I hope I get so lucky enough to see one in person lol from a far that is.
No suitcase or luggage of any kind, no goodbye note or forwarding address. He just up and left.
LOL
Stunning footage; just beautiful! Thank you so much for sharing!
Very cool, interesting informative, well done video. Thanks for sharing!

Best bear channel on the World Wide Web!
Very cool. I have never seen a vid like this before. Kinda comical too! Yawning. Scratching. Stretching. He looked like he was doing bear yoga lol! Thankyou. 🐾🐗
Laura Metheny 🐻 bear not boar lol
pretty sure this is a baptist, not hindu
OML! All these goofy comments. Mine too! Lol. Glad people liked watching him. I love animals.😂😂😂😂🐾🐗
Laura Metheny gives a different meaning to Yogi the bear 😉
+Noah Simmons she said bear, think you need to get your eyes tested.
Thanks for taking the time to edit, narrate, and post this. Great video.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Black Bear are shy and elusive so getting this video is a real score! Congrats!
Thank you for putting this video together!!! Legend ❤
This fella is a true chill guy
Really enjoyed your video. Watching the big guy get going for season with your commentary was quite interesting.
No idea how I ended up here but I think I've learned more about bears from this one video than anything else. Lol. :)
one of the more enjoyable videos I've seen in a long time made me chuckle great commentary great film clips
Fascinating. Thanks for putting this together
This honestly was so cool. I’ve grown up in Alaska my entire life. Been around many black and grizzly bears. Had no clue it took them a while to get out but it obviously makes sense!
And holy cow that’s a HUGE black bear. Especially being that he was looking that big after hibernation. I’ve seen some scrawny bears in the spring time.
Thank you for this unique video! He is stiff & sore like I am on a Monday morning!
I am sore everyday!
Quality of video is great considering its a trail cam
Vinny Mac Yeah it makes you wonder why all the Bigfoot cam footage is so crap rofl, or maybe just fake.
Vinnie, I never could get my trailcam to work. Whatever happened to on off record & photo buttons clearly marked. I lost the instructions if that's what they were supposed to be.😣
@@bluenose6795 you must be fun at parties
.........I will not forget that bear, and your very interesting narration. A glimpse into a bear coming out of hibernation...watching your vid was worth more than a two hour nat geo. Thank you!
"He left for good and didn't come back until the next morning."
I love that. Sounds like a sentence from a kid's book.
LOL
Greetings from North Michigan Bear Country. Loved your video. I have an occupied den on my north 40 acres.
It's called getting ur bearings!! Duh
It sure is, especially after sleeping for 4 months!! 🐻
I love it! lol!
LOL - nice one!
I get it now!!
Where the hell am I and how the f did I get here again? Many a morning I have found my self in exactly the same kind of way
Good job editing the videos, and I enjoyed your commentary, too. Thanks for a straight-forward, insightful glimpse at this fascinating creature!
Much appreciated!
This is as rough as me getting up after my 16 hour hibernation when the summer holidays start.
Wow!! I never would think it would be like this!! He's a beautiful bear, poor thing missing an eye, thank you for sharing!!!
Thank you very much for sharing. I never saw this before.
Normal you think, after he slept, he walks simple away.
Great video I really enjoyed it. What trail camera are you using?
Covert black maverick www.covertscoutingcameras.com/shop/covert-scouting-cameras/2019-cameras/maverick/
Lost my left eye..!?
You should see the other bear
I wonder too, could it have been an eye infection or disease, or birth defect? But probably a fight. It's anyone's guess.
Judy Johnsen could’ve just stumbled into a branch and got it in the eye doesn’t have to be a fight, you’d likely see more scars on his face if it was a fight
those are great shots, but it's your narration that makes it special!
"Where's my weed? I know its around here somewhere."
Skunk cabbage... they actually eat it for a laxative effect after hibernation, as they will often eat clay to plug themselves up for the winter.
No...
I really found this interesting and cool. Thanks for taking the time to make this video.
Glad you liked it!
Bears are so fascinating! We really should appreciate them more.
What's this "we" stuff? You and the rest of the city folk?
@@mikeznel6048 I live in the country and i appreciate the bears..from a distance.why the snarky comment?
Thank you for sharing. This truly is amazing video. I had no idea that waking from a hibernation was such a struggle for bears. Be kind to wildlife, staying alive is not easy for them.
So lucky the den didn’t collapse while he was hibernating! Great vid & narration! Thanks so much for posting this 😊
Bears make great contractors 🐻⛑
@In All Honesty bears have been doing this for millions of years bruv they know what they are doing
Thank you for the video
Thanks for watching!
He looked in good shape considering he hadn't eaten for months; their heartbeat must slow to a crawl.
Yes it does.
One beat per minute I think I've read that somewheres.
Thoroughly enjoyed watching the bear clip.
Glad you enjoyed it
I really enjoyed this, thank you.
These are amazing observations. Thank you so much for sharing!
Glad you like them!
Awesome footage. A rare look into a bear's life that most of us never get to see. Thanks for sharing this with us!
UGH this makes bears look so cute
That was so cool I think for the most part people think they just kind of wander out and then that's it and they go off but it's a process that's really awesome
Cool video love the commentary over it, normally it’s annoying but this is very informative.
Is this the Michael Vick that fought dogs??
This was really good footage. Thanks so much for sharing this. Also thanks for the wonderful narration. Looking forward to your next video. 🌲🌳👍
This was fascinating a real treat Thank you so much for sharing
Very good footage. ....I didnt know that bears hang around their den after hibernation for so long.....
So beautiful! I love all bears!
Thank you.
Fascinating! I wonder how many people knew that bears don't just wake up, ready and raring to go. His coat sure looks shiny and thick!
It makes me sad that he is missing an eye. And that his den collapsed. 😥😥😥
Nice share. I was curious about what their dens were like. I have a lot of bears visiting this summer so it peeked my interest as they should be hibernating soon.
Amazing man. Nice video!
Thanks for sharing. I saw a lot of them when I lived in Marathon ont Canada. They are formidable creatures but non- confrontational. Beautiful
he did more stretches in that week than we do in about 1 year..
What a treat, thanks!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Why would almost 200 people thumb down this video...I don't get it!
I enjoyed this and thank the guy for putting it up.
Nobody forced me to watch it!
Your a cool dude thanks for posting this
I found this video very interesting and I learned a lot. Thank you for posting. I've never hunted black bears and have only seen a handful of them while deer hunting. They truly are beautiful creatures. Thanks again for the lovely video 😘.
Sorry guys this isn't a video about a bear, this is actual footage of me trying to wake up

Thank you for not shooting this bear. GOOD MAN
Beautiful creature!
I’m so groggy when I wake, yesterday my alarm went off and I picked up the phone.
hahaha
What an amazing video! Bears! 🐻 🐻💗...thank you for sharing this.
thanks for trail cameras! He didn't look very thin
Rob Bobcat I thought he or she would be thinner too. So when I see one in the wilderness, can't' really tell if it is well fed or really hungry. Yikes. Met a mom and a little cub once, but they were just on the trail ahead of me sniffing around, got some water and came back, jumped around on a fallen log. I managed to get some pictures while keeping an eye out for any other cubs, and trying to make sure the other 9 people in my hiking party didn't scare them away.
So the sleep 4 months and spend another month waking up? Don't the females give birth in the dens? Good thing it didn't collapse while he was sleeping.
Rob Bobcat he looks pretty good, doesn’t he.
Someone in a bear sanctuary recently told us that bears don't actually loose very much (if any) weight during the hibernation. They only loose a lot after they woke up because food is hard to come by in spring. And it takes a while until they find enough to maintain their weight.
Also apparently the hibernation i's not a totally deep sleep. They wake up every day for some hours to stretch and go back to sleep. Very interesting
I thought of that, too. But they also don't hibernate as long as brown bears in much colder climates. They start denning in October and don't come out till spring. That's gives them more time to lose fat.
This was beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it!
A very well put together video to say the least
What a wonderful insight! It takes me about that long to get going in the morning, proportionally speaking! ❤❤ 🐻🐻
So basically he's just like me. It takes me 4 hours to wake up in the morning.
This might be the most vulnerable time you would see a black bear
3:01 "he's yawning a lot...stretching, you know doin some yoga as bears do"
Yoga bear rather than Yogi bear?
Awesome video thank you so much for showing us a part of this beautiful bears life....Pat
Great Video!
Thanks so much! Awesome work sir!
