@@mooseyard it’s a good question. A lot of my practice is going through different chord systems like Drop 2. So I feel like my knowledge of chords is decent but when I’m composing something like this it’s more about the melody. So it’s good to have a knowledge of chord building around the highest note which would make a melody. Kind of like how you make chord melodies in jazz but applied to a rockier sound. I should make a video about it really. Thanks!
Could chords like this be used for rhythm guitar while a lead instrument plays a single line over the top? These chords are gorgeous but I wonder if the effects mean this is “meant” to be the main guitar sound or if there’s still room for a lead on top without muddying up the mix.
I went easier on the fuzz this time as I think it's easier to hear all the notes of the chords this way.
This was so relaxing. I had a bad night and this put me at ease. Thanks
I had a bad day too.
Hearing that it made yours better also makes me happier.
Thanks to you 🎸
Awesome!!
@@adamdb94 ah cheers, mate.
I’m curious: how did you find these chords? Experimenting with fingerings, or based on theory, or finding them in songs or books?

Ah you could definitely put lead over them.
Large chords are used in jazz but not always for a solo instrument
And thanks a lot btw 🎸
