I’m a barber from Pittsburgh, really impressed with the fade itself but where it’s bulky around the top, take it down a guard or 2 so it’s not as prominent. Also used some thinning shears just around that area. Less hair on the sides gives the illusion of more hair on top
You are a gift to all us men which are battling with our psych each day. I think you saved me from a lifelong depression my friend. Thank you sososo much ❤
I started watching this channel to build up the courage to cut my thinning hair because I felt self conscious about it but after I did I still find myself coming back to watch still. Great content.

Lmaooo. I have never watched a guy so much, who is my bald headed kindred spirit. You have me in stitches all the while Harry. Similar stories, similar humour. Never change 😂👍🏽👍🏽
To be honest, the grown out hair (before the bald fade) looked pretty good. It gave you a grizzled look and it suited you pretty well. It kind of inspired me to let my hair short (up to one month without a trim) and not completely shaved when my hair loss starts to become more evident.

You need a south side fade. Started in Houston Texas. That’s what I give myself when I don’t shave my head. I have a similar pattern as you. It really makes the top look fuller with the illusion when you fade high.
I've been buzz cutting my hair at home for years. It saves money, but even more importantly - it saves TIME. There are only so many hours on the weekend and the last thing I want to waste it on is sitting in a barber shop.
Bro you actually gave yourself a decent fade, way better then most people could do, I do think it’s a little to late to pull off that look, I would just go back to shaving it
It came out alright in the end ay, the fade work I mean. Obviously not something I'd do forever but when I started I thought id messed up completely but it came together.

@@Danimal77 oh dude obviously it doesnt actually impact my life at all and dont really care. I guess I was just trying to highlight how fucked it looked
it’ll look better if you did the fade in reverse. as in you start fade with very little hair near the top of your sides & gradually increase length as you go to the bottom of your beard. most people start the fade at the top of their beard which looks good, but starting the fade at the top of your sides can look good too.
One thing that puts me off the eventual head shave I’ll have to do in a few years is no longer being able to rock a fade on the back and sides. Have always loved getting a fresh cut from the barbers, sad to know once the top is gone the fade will have to go to!
Your hair at the back and sides look really thick and dense. You look also look like a good candidate for a hair transplant. But the choice is obviously yours. No pressure I mean they are expensive. Also you could do it anytime you wanted. I would only go to a really good clinic like hasson and wong. Dont go to Turkey.. Should I cut the thick area with a shorter setting to blend it better with the top?
Plan to do the initial "#1" setting and then clean my scalp and stimulate it as it's often covered even in the shower, but may go to a barber and see if they can work any magic if I don't feel I can even it out myself, being I don't forsee the thick areas not giving a Thick "follicle shadow" making the top look even thinner.
I feel like you could definitely grow back your hair with castor oil and rogaine or something cause you can still see a lot of the hair is there it’s just a lot smaller than the sides and back
@Baldcafe like i said you have a Norwood 3 but they also say at the age of 35 the hair you have left would stay would you for the rest of your life i think would you were it is really bad is the crown area that would unquestionably go bald but you could still have the hair on top.
I haven’t here’d this “the hair stays after 35” theory. That’s a new one to me.
@@Baldcafe i am slightly jelous of your hairline on top you have more hair growth then me but your crown is the same as mine really happy you started the channel it would help us Men alot truly thank you so much yes the hair you have at 35 is the hair that stays pretty much of your adult life i doubt you would go totally bald that is my own opinion anyway.
What a load of crap, my old man started balding at 37 and was fully bald by 57
@@mob9334 its called a theory system and for some Men they have not gone fully bald some have a Norwood 2
Very funny, I got that haircut all the time in recent years, albeit there was more on top but still it had to go. Over 2 weeks in now with the zero guard all over. I see I'm tagged on the latest Instagram post also 👍
Looked like a monk at first but in the end you knew what you were doing which is what matters.
