Shaving your head in still the best option for guys who are facing hair loss issues. The question in this video is which is the best option for you? To shave your head bald with the razor or to use the hair clippers and go for that buzz cut.

At 23 with a receding hairline, after staring at myself in the mirror with clippers in my hand for 20 mins finally had the courage to just do it, don’t regret it
Lol it doesn’t take courage to shave your head mate
@@Jack-mw3rp it kinda does my guy. Im not going bald but i can only imagine how hard it would be to have to shave all my hair off. I feel like my long ass hair hides my weird shaped head.
@@chrisrivera3961 Iv done it myself my hair been receding since 21 I’m 26 now and nearly fully bald courage is running into battlefield not shaving your head lol

definition of courage:
the ability to do something that frightens one.
this according to oxford. your statement makes you sound like a 12 year old. You thinking that the word courage has to be used in only extreme situations is pretty funny :).
@@chrisrivera3961 lmao keep thinking you are courageous for shaving your head you little mug you haven’t got a clue
I am 34 years old and experiencing male pattern baldness. I buzzed my head today. It felt so liberating. No plans on going back and or hair transplants. Going to focus on things I have control over and better myself. I must say after watching your channel for approximately 3 days gave me the support to do it. Thank you brother from Los Angeles.
Javier Serrano congrats man. I buzzed mine a month ago and now am trying the wet shave!
I agree with you, it is very liberating!
Cheers to taking control!!!
Confidence is attractive to women. Hair transplants are for men who are to weak to rock the baldness and be who they are.
Frosted tips are all the rage these days LOL
just shave it off smooth is a better look
Thats great man congrats yo better yourself
My father went bald in the late 70’s before 28yrs old, i feel for all those who went through hair loss before UA-cam support like the Baldcafe and before it was okay for men to have and show their feelings. Harry keep up the great work.
My dad had severe hairloss during the 60's-70's and I'm curious how he dealt with it during those times when hair was important. I can't ask him because he passed away a long time ago, but what did your dad do during that time period ? Did he wear a toupee ? I'm curious what bald men did back then because when you watch movies or see musicians from that time period, no one is bald.
Been buzzin my hair with a #1 since i was 20 and i am almost 35 now.So that is 15 years of buzzin every week.I was never bald but loved the feel and showering with it and no drama with products etc.Its intressting to see so many men find it such a huge step.Just do a buzz and you wont ever worry about hairstyles.Wearing caps and beanies in fall winter will b a joy!Waking up and no worry after a nice shower. And mentally it feels like a buddhist monk,no worrys just zen atleast for me it did.Be you, people will see you!Not your hair, but your eyes, the Windows to your soul.Just do it!And if you dont have a hairline shave it all,be fresh and clean!Be brave and be confident!Everyday you will wake up in style and in zen while other worry worry worry.
TheMangoBoi I’m not bald but I like to shave my head, I’m 24 and being shaving my head bout 8 years ago 3 times per week. Now I’m looking for something different, Do u thing buzzing is a good option? I have a perfect hairline tho
Not bald but I have a major widows peak. I have been buzzing my head between a 0 and 2 since I was 23 and not only has it saved me so much money but I love the simplicity.
And you get the tint from the hair follicles unlike shaved so it still almost looks like you have hair
I want flat top for 10 years I have no hair loss then I buzzed it for two or three months then I shaved the ball I like to feel of it smooth
Lmao kinda same over here but i am 19 atm! Been doing it every summer since my 16th. If it were up to me, i would always just do it for the same reasons you stated. I still have a perfect hairline and am able to grow a decent beard.
Starting balding at 25 years old. I immediately went to the Buzz Cut, zero guard on the clippers and stubble beard. Rocked that look for years. I’m 35 and I’ve been doing a wet shave for over a year. If I got two days without shaving you can clearly see the bald spot on the crown. Keep up the great content!!
Wet shaved for the first time last week after buzzing it for about a year.. it’s my new favorite thing haha!
It feels great right! just the ultimate hassle free look once you get the technique and equipment down 👌
Might be your favorite look but it’s actually horrible, you know it deep down, very sad
I come over here when I’m feeling down, it’s the only place guaranteed to deliver sad sacks who are definitely worse off than I am, delusional baldies cheer me up every time!
@@Xtramedium1961 You're hurt, plain as day. Trying to offend someone, hoping it catches on so you won't feel miserable for a moment. Using looks, oh, it's simple psychology, what we feel shitty about in ourselves, we use to hurt others, because we judge others with same tools as we do ourselves. Might suprise you how many people don't give a fuck about what you think about them, especially when they understand that you're just poor dude who's down in the shits. It's like a mouse in the dumps, screaming at birds in the sky, "I can't fly and you can, I HATE YOU!" Dude, that's not a way to go. Try it other way around, you'll find that many more doors will open for you.
Sonny Bonacelli thanks sonny that was deep, you put some effort into that, so on your advice I’m gonna try things the other way round, interesting about the mouse aswell I dident know that cheers!
I can't remember which of your videos I found originally. I was looking as my hair has been thinning for a while now, and I had been considering shaving my head. It took an hour for me to man up and actually shave it, but I am really glad I did. I went for the buzz, but the stubble felt funny, so I shaved it with the leaf razor, feels real good and now I know that it's not the end of the world. Thanks for putting out this content.
I have been struggling with my confidence levels of late and I have realised it is in large part down to rocking the buzz cut look you describe late in the video, with a bald runway down the middle. As soon as I wet shaved this morning, it felt as though I added a full 50% to my sex-factor. Thank you brother.
I have a similar hair loss pattern to yourself. I started with a clipper cut about 9 weeks ago, and felt pretty good about it. But in recent videos I can see the horseshoe shadow and so I'm now considering going for the super smooth shave. Love your channel, just watched about 10 videos! 👍
Sick thumbnail dude
I shave because I don't like the look of my hair line
Hi. This is Nishant. 31, from India. Thank you SO SO much for making these videos man. I discovered this channel one evening 2 years ago, when I was really depressed about my hair loss. I decided to not go for hair transplant and rock the buzz look. I instantly felt good about myself. I felt like I belong to a greater "family". ❤
I'm an older guy of 57 and I sympathize for young guys in their 20's early 30's who experience hair loss. When I was that age it was the 80's-90's and being a musician in those days I had to have hair down to my ass or else. Shaving your head in those days was a NO WAY GONNA HAPPEN thing. Bald Heads didn't even start being "cool" until Michael Jordan made it so. My hair didn't start getting thin until my 40's and I realized and by then It was gonna be ok to buzz it off. I'm also blessed that since I'm old now my hair is gray to almost white so I can just buzz it and not worry about the hair showing my balding pattern because the lightness of the stubble blends in with my skin tone. If I were younger with dark brown black I would definitely wet shave instead. I just want to say, this is a great channel and you're really helping guys with their anxiety. We can still look great with out the hair !
Hey! I'm 57 too... and we are NOT old! ;) You are right about the bald being NOT cool when we were 20-30 though... so long ago, are we really that old..? haha
@@KeesKouwenberg respect to the two of you old timers I love it when I find comments like theses
Same here. Pretty much the same story. Decided at about 50 to just buzz it. Think it looks better...neater? The white/grey kinda just blends with the skull and doesn't really show much until 3-4 days.
I was basically half bald already at 20 years old. I'm 22 now and have lost most hair on the top of my head so I'm just taking the plunge now
i am a little surprised that you are not in the hundreds of thousands of subscribers. keep it up. you are helping loads of people.
i’m 18 with a receding hairline and this makes me wanting to go with the baby shave style already. I’m struggling with this for about 2 years, i’m not mentality stable myself, but this factor is making everything difficult. Thank you for all these videos
dont feel bad about yourself, im 20 and balding heavily, i started a long ago with buzzcuts and now i just shave my head with a razor, looks so refreshing and i dont mind at all or plan to get a hair transplant. be confident :)
I started buzzing my head at 15 bc I thought it felt good then my hairline started to go so now I shave at 27
Hey man hope you're doing ok. I'm just 29 and gonna shave it bald. I had long hair since younger than you and still do, but it's a skullet now
Man, get mentally stable - then shave.
I shaved it off the first time when I was 17. My hairline is abysmally tall up my forehead making it look like im balding. I currently rock a buzz cut and its great. I don't know if I want to get all bald, because I've got no beard.
Buzz looks good if your hairline isnt terrible

To stop irritation I'm starting to buzz my head. Great video! Thank you!!
I think its a great option for a lot of guys. Thanks for watching 👍
Love this channel. I made the right decision a while back but it was VERY hard letting go. I love what you said in another vid about accepting that those hair days are over and moving on. It's not easy but it's worth it.
Thats awesome man. Glad the content could help and congrats dude 🤝
You’re saying it like you had some kind of choice, give me a break!
Thick as a stump, Straight as a die I love you.
Steady on mrs Gallante we’ve only just met!
A word of advice for all of you young guys; I decided to shave my head in my 30s because of my thinning hair on top and receding hairline. After I got a little sun and my head wasn’t pale white, even the brothers complimented me on it. Many white guys don’t look good with a completely shaved head. My mistake was, not using sunscreen! I would purposely go out without a hat or sunscreen on hot summer days trying to get a tan and ended up with a lot of moles forming. The dermatologist said that they are mostly harmless, just caused by overexposure to the sun, but they don’t look good. So if you’re going to go for it and shave it all off, do yourself a favor and use sunscreen or wear a hat in direct sunlight.
How many years for that to start happening?
thanks for the advice! In my 20s here and started recently shaving my head. Will use sunscreen and hats now, you might have saved my scalp ;)
There are some sunscreens out there specifically designed for a bald head. I use the zero shine 2.0 sunscreen as it also reduces the shine on my bald head
Spot on . I went from zero guard on the buzz to finally just going to wet shave.
Oh nice one 👍 Its a nice and pretty natural upgrade I think. I did the same myself.
About 20 years ago (I was 52-3 years old) I shaved my head even though I still had a good set of hair. To my surprise, when I went to sleep that evening my head perspired so much that it was not only very uncomfortable but it also left my pillow wet with perspiration. Now, I’m going on 73 and balding from my crown and I am going to buzz my hair to the very shortest possible length. Personally, for me, shaving my head will happen again once that bald spot gets bigger and bigger. Maybe, I can hold on until I’m 80. Ha!!!
Long life
I have finally come to the point that I am ready to shave my head. I haven't told anybody that I'm going to do it and honestly I'm pretty freaked out. Your words and attitude were exactly what I needed today. Thank you.
How did your family react?
Did you do it?
I did it this past Saturday.
My wife called me a cutie and was very supportive. My 3 yo daughter didn't notice for two days. And only then because she thought my head felt funny. She kept touching my head and smiling. It was really rather sweet.
0:03 "We're out here" 😂😂😂 The way you said that in your accent made me laugh for some reason.....a different take on saying "WE OUT HERE!!"
My favorite is a zero guard buzz cut. I use the Remington Shortcut Pro. Once a week and I'm good for the entire week.
Same.
I prefer the Andis T Outliner but I agree 100% that a zero with a clipper is by far the best option for men
The SUDDEN realization (using phone camera) that I'm having male pattern baldness made me extremely depressed for the first few days some years back. Then after some research on its genetic cause, I've luckily quickly found peace with it and accepted my fate and buzzed my hair down. Honestly I like the way I look now. Except when I'm back in China on vacation, people tend to think I'm a thug or something.
I had a similar experience discovering my balding too 😆
Came across your channel while watching beard care videos. My story, I buzzed my head for about a month when I first started out. Once I started shaving with razors I loved it and haven't looked back!
I do the buzz cut because it's easier for me. I don't like the feeling of the skin when I did try shaving it. I usually use the smallest guard and buzz it once a week. I love it!
Awesome man, and very convenient!
Just shaved my head today!! 34 year old Dad and quarantined I buzzed it.
After years of my hairline receding and trying to hold on because I’ve always been someone that liked having a nice fade with a combover , I finally pulled the trigger and razor shaved my head. Believe me it was a really hard decision to make but I can say I feel liberated , I look a lot younger and I’m learning to accept it. I feel great and no longer have ideas of getting a hair transplant. BALD IS BEAUTIFUL Gentlemen.
Man!! It feels like me talking there lol I ordered my electric shaver , gonna shave it tomorrow. My hairline is starting to look like vageta man 😂 I think it’s time I transform into krilen

@@Bigbuggin ok bro just finished showering. So I decided to go to my barber to trim me down to a 0 grade and I gave him my new Braun series 9 pro to shave my head and line up my beard. Bro it felt fucking surreal. Thankfully I rock a very decent beard. I have a lot of scars on my head and at the back but anyway sent pics to family, they love it. Mum congratulated me.
We got a mini heatwave in London for 4-5 days so I just bought some factor 50 sun scream. Never used it before
I’m Middle Eastern so I should tan reasonably fast.
Anyway I’m glad I’ve owned it and I’ll just grow into it. No regrets

@@Bigbuggin thank you man. Bro I’m just relieved. For real baldcafe and all those confident young guys giving interviews and videos of before and after was such a boost. Definitely gave me a push.
Great video! I’ve probably watched it 3 times over the last few months. Probably as a part of some recent decisions I’ve had to make.
After doing wet razors for over a year, I’m returning indefinitely to the clippers (zero). The irritation ain’t worth it (despite trying every trick in the book). I’m in my mid 40s, low body fat and fit with a thick beard. It’s clear the hair is going with this buzz cut, so now I call it my “idgaf-wut-u-think-about-me-going-bald-buzz-cut.” Still workshopping a better name, but you get my point.
The buzz cut is actually more liberating than a razor shave, but I appreciate both.
That was so great to watch I got some good tips for myself, as a woman with hair loss it’s harder to get tips on shaving your head thank you for this I had no idea men were as self conscious about it as well
just shave it off and be rid of it I love the look of a bald lady
I've just looked at pictures of Statham and his hair has receded more over the years, so he currently has the horseshoe shape yet he still buzzes his hair. All he has done is allow his stubble to grow a bit longer and he still looks very presentable. Stanley Tucci and Pep Guardiola do the same. I shave my head every 2 days but am now trying the buzzed head and stubble because of this video.
Top guy thanks so much for addressing a common issue for most men
My absolute pleasure.
Quarantine helped me to take the step and go bald at 22 years of age. I absolutely love it and I´m currently trying different stuff. Keep up the great content! I´m very much looking forward to new videos. Much love from Germany

Tried and shave twice in my life, but don't look as fine as buzz on me, which I've done weekly for 8 years now.
Best move in my life. It saves time, money on products, and gives a badass look. No fancy or posh haircuts that can be ruined by wind or rain anymore. Gentlemen, it's time for men to look as MEN.

So good to hear man. rock it sound and proud. The confidence to rock a bald head is really something you should be proud of.
I have shaved my head for 23 years and will never have hair
Also you still have a good amount of hair, i think the long buzz suits you, you look like you could even grow your hair back, mine is the same diffuse thinning
I'll do a little experiment maybe grow it for a week but I don't miss it. It still looks untidy which i'm not a fan of.
I been shaving my head for 14 years. Never gonna go back to hair. Very helpful video
🙏 Thank you. Thats great to hear from a pro!
How can you when you have none eightball!
@@Xtramedium1961 LOL
oooh matron! Pathetic troll.
I go with clipping. My head has a prominent fontanelle bump where I always either miss tiny hairs or cut myself. Also, what you call untidy is what I look like most of the time. Took Statham as an inspiration.
For me it depends on the weather in the winter I buzz cut because my skin doesn’t get dried out and my head stays a little warmer. In the summer I usually shave because when I sweat my skin stays moisturized and I prefer the clean look. What ever one you choose your life is so much better without the worry and the drugs . The drugs made me severely depressed and I have had to take antidepressants every since .
So accurate. I started with the buzz then graduated to wet shaving much smoother and faster. Skill is going against the grain.
As you wet shave more the better your scalp takes to shaving. I started shaving when I was 20 because I was in the USMC and couldn't find a good barber on base. At first, the wet shave was rough but after about 6 months my head got use to it. I am 39 now and can shave without cream and never bump up.
It was nice to know about your channel which got me hook to wet shaving my head and thanks to your advice, i am able to get the bbs each time i shave my head. Its a confident booster and m just 25 years of age. I felt in love with this style of a bald look even if my head growth is fine.
The cheapest option for the closest shave is a safety razor. Better than cartridge razors but takes a bit of practice. I’ve used expensive merkur but now only use a cheap £15 Wilkinson sword model which is just as good.
I started going bald when I went 27 and I'm so glad and happy I can cut all my hair off with clippers

One hour ago I decided to shave my head.
Recently my hair started to receed very fast.
As you can see in my profile picture, I had very long hair and I was loving it but after a few years it thined a lot.
Got some haircuts for a few years but people kept telling me that I am going bald.
I didn't want to believe it honestly but recently I was in a field trip and in the photos I saw that the middle piece was super light and the balding was going very fast.
I finally did it!
I am feeling great!

My hairline started receding at the front and i do a mix of both, i like being completely bald sometimes, and with a little hair still there, depends on how i feel. Great video as always👍
Thats great that you feel comfortable rocking both styles. I like that.

It took me a long time to shave my head but it was the best thing I ever did if your a baldy like me
Hello! My hair started receding and going backwards on my head. In January, I made the decision to go bald and I couldn’t be happier. Hi, Harry, I think, that I made a mistake, when I decided to choose buzz cut with my T-Outliner. I do not feel comfortable, it seems that my head is dirty, although I look bald. I agree with everything you said. And after a couple of months of use, I don’t know how to explain to my wife that I don’t like that expensive trimmer anymore
Ah man thats not good. It seems like most clippers just can't cut the hair close enough!?
A dirty looking head is a real handicap mate, I feel very sorry for you and your poor wife
Thanks dude! Really appreciate your channel. I think you're doing a FABULOUS job for guys losing hair :)
The beard is looking good man!
Thank you 🙏 😆
I would like to see an in depth talk like this that discusses foil and rotary shavers as well
Great video! This is also how I transitioned into using razors 👌
I love Jason he just looks mean and confident in himself
Agree with pretty much everything and some very good points in there! I am a diffuser too, so my hairline is pretty much still there for the most. I also started with the longer buzz and slowly worked my way down to a zero. I recently switched to a foil shaver, because buzzing every 2-3 days is quite annoying since you have to press really hard to get all those hairs with the clipper teeth if they are still shortish. I also wasn't feeling comfortable anymore after like 3 days without a cut. So imo, if you are diffusing and its very light, go for a zero guard buzzcut and if its the hairline thats receding, I'd go for a fade, with like a 1 or 2 on top and a zero on the sides. very easy to learn and do once a week. And even if you mess it up, shave it all and after 10 days you'll get a new chance to do it. For bald spots or major thinning there is only one option and thats the wet razor (or a dry variant).
Thank you. i needed this.
i see Integrity band
@@tikaven6774 One of my favorite bands, yes! Plus I really dig that logo
I’ve been buzzing for years but the top is getting thinner and thinner. After watching a couple of your videos and especially this one I’ve decided to go for the wet shave. Thanks dude.
I still keep my hair long for now as the thinning doesn't look bad yet. I'm still in the "trying to accept it" phase, but also looking into actual options, etc. Because I wanna be prepared. My hair loss patterns looks very similar to yours, plus high temples. I tried the bald look (completely shaven) about a year ago, but honestly it showed my hair loss even more clearly, than having it long does. Sure, it looks a little flat on top, but not like... as thin as it actually is, lol. I only plan on keeping it long for as long as it still looks good. When it starts looking bad, I'll shave it off. And I think I'd likely go for wet shave, unless I'm too lazy to maintain it smooth so often. Although I do like the smooth look the best! So I might still go for that at least occasionally. Also I've gotta learn how to shave my head with my safety razor, because I'm not about to waste loads of money on cartridge blades again, lmao. Also I'm 31, and started losing my hair at 25, so quite young.
I razor my dome every 2 days it isnt hard
Bro u have inspired me alot... After 3 or 4 years I m going loose my hair n bald is the best option cutting hair to bald is no shame seriously..👍Thank u somuch for this useful video really going to be helpful love from India 🇮🇳😊😊👍🙏
my hair is healthy. thin, but not balding. ive just shaved off my hair for fun and experience.
wishing all the best for all balding and bald fellas out there
I was given a golden tip for wet shaving the head, beard included.
Dont use foam or soap!
Just use a reasonable quality hair conditioner.
Just try it once, no cuts or razor burn, you'll throw your soaps, oils and foam in the bin.
Method,
Wash your scalp with hot water, massage conditioner in for about a minute.
Shave with the grain.
Re apply conditioner and shave against the grain.
Re do the bits you've missed by braille, you dont need more conditioner, just rub with a wet hand to find the missed bits.
Rinse and apply a conditioning cream if you're fussy.
Try it, no cuts, no razor burn, cheaper than chips!
Other than that , very interesting and informative video, thanks for posting.
no hair loss here, i just like shaving my head.. but i prefer the wet shave, been practicing safety razor but i got too many "bleeds"
I second the idiot comment. Bro!
You have hair and you choose bald!!!
Wtf
Lucky you
I have no hair loss but I like to
Shave my head to
Shaving your head with a full head of hair is like using crutches for fun.
@@tylerbonser7686 it started when my cousin was diagnosed with prostate cancer. he went for chemo for months and start losing hair.. for him to feel like hes not alone, i decided to shave too.. he recovered and stayed bald and thats the kinda reason why i stayed bald as well.. now. am i being an idiot? i guess i am but i dont care what other say
Since I got my Bran Series 9, thanks to your videos, I take it all off and it looks cool.
best to wet shave every single day to avoid the toilet seat hairstyle.
Oh my, never heard it called that before.
I think a shave everyday is preferable but I just don't have the time.
Lmao
If you're just getting into shaving your head though I would recommend not doing it everyday let the skin get used to it maybe every two to three days for sure
What’s with that nasty beard , looks like a dirty birds nest. Shave everything even your eyebrows and fob it off as some horrible disease, sympathy might help you score lonely boy
I think the uneven zero all-over buzzcut can be due to the direction of one's hair growth. Just as with facial hair, many people have multi-directional hair growth on their scalp. While you can get the look that is considered "bald" by most people with hair clippers w/o blade guard, with multi-directional hair growth, you will likely get it irregular and clean-shaven is the better look, IMHO. It gets a bit easier with a #1 buzz. If you want a buzz cut that is #2 or longer, you can get it regular easily, even with hair that grows into a myriad of directions. I do use a mirror to check if I missed a spot somewhere, though.
honest man I think your beard looks great but the shorter look really brings out your great facial structure
Im sure I will go back to the shorter look at some point. I'll keep the beard until it isn't fun anymore.
@@Baldcafe i agree with the fact that a shorter beard looks better on you bro. Just my opinion of course. Currently i am rocking the 6mm long stubble beard look.
Cheers guys ;)
Why in the name of God would you want to bring that out, just sayin
I do the buzz cut, but I think I will try the razor shave. Great channel!
Thank you.. I prefer to shave my bald head.. By using razor.. But I'm living in Syria.. There aren't any good product for shaving.. Everything is fake and bad quality.. Thanks again for your time with us...
try amazon
@@martinklein1139 Hi Martin.. We don't have Amazon here.. Very backward country.. And we have a lot of sanctions and embargo from USA.. thanks...
Hmm that sucks, I'm afraid i'm not sure what to suggest there might be a local guy who can give you a wet shave regularly at the barbers with an old school straight edge razor?
@@Baldcafe Thanks again.. I adapted with this bad situation here.. I did it always.. With some irritation sometimes.. Thanks 😍
Im so sorry for all the hard times that you and your people are going thru i hope that things get bettet soon
Bro u truly are the bald guru!!!!
I think your beard shorter fits more on you than the actual one
You like the shorter beard?
@@Baldcafe definitely yes!
No one likes the shorter beard , it’s just it’s looks less horrible than that Aliester Crowley abomination that’s currently in sit-ue
the beard you have on 10:55 looks great suits you the best
@@quase3 Yeah, I agree with the others the shorter beard looks better - Gives you a model look.
This is video I've been looking for.
All the questions I had, were answered.
I always get a buzz cut but I'm tired of paying for a haircut and I have a lot of dandruff I think going bald would help with some of the problem
Yeah, scavenging it elevates any problem with dry skin etc on the scalp for me. I just filmed a review with a new foil shaver and I pointed out that problem.
Going bald would definitely help your poor barber having to face your flakey head every month , that’s for sure!
My balding story is kinda different than most. I actually had a very bad acne problem on my scalp that made my hair uneven with bald patches from hair loss. It basically forced me to go bald and I’m ok with it and find it cool and masculine. Because of the medication I’m on for it and the uneven spots I find the buzz better. Until my skin is better and more smooth I’ll buzz it. The shave is my end goal because it can be a very fast everyday option
Subscribed right off the bat man
Thats awesome thank you 🙏 Pleasure to have you here on the channel, welcome 😃
Just buzzed my hair to 0 length but didn't go for a full ahave which I had intended to do. Your video has made my mind up. Going to shave in the shower tomorrow morning. Thanks👍
All done now. Feels great 😁
I started shaving my head when I was around 17 (35 now) But I wasnt getting bald that time, just was easy lol. But around my 27th I noticed during shaving that I was really getting bald!! That was a bit of a shocker for me, but luckely I already shaved my head for years so no big deal. Was just a mental thing that was bugging me for a few days
BTW, what you said about irritation, iv'e been using headblade for many years, and since moving on to edge extra protection shave gel iv'e got no problems at all, amazing product, no cuts or irritation and really no need to change your blade for a very very long time.
Wet razor all the way. For best results I shave twice. Shave my head once then immediately apply more soap and shave for a second time. almost guarantees the best results.
Another downside for y'all is it is hard to keep a beanie hat on without any hair/stubble to provide friction. The hat just sits there and does not feel secure at all. Does anyone else have this problem?
I totally know what you mean. Freshly shaved the hat won't stay on. 1/2 day old stubble the hat won't come off!
Your not alone I dry shave and wet shave and I find my beanie's just don't fit right but when my hair starts to grow back no problems.
i will join u guys in a few months....
this video helps me a lot
Buzz cut looks better than clean clean shave in my opinion. And people that aren’t very dexterous will have troubling cutting themselves.
I'm 38 with a receding hairline and a full beard. I have started to buzz my head guard zero a few weeks ago. Best decision ever. It's clean, masculine and super easy to do. I buzz my head every other day to maintain that sharp look.
In my 20s and started shaving and razor-shaving my head. It is true, it makes me look more masculine and even more after I started growing a beard on my face. I don't regret the change.
For the wet shave I only use shaving cream and the razor....nothing else.
Thanks for the video man! I have been struggling a long time with this, I appreciate all the options you have provided
I buzz it off or i cut it with a 1 guard, because my hairline is still good and i like the look, girls think i shave my hair because i just want to do it ahah.
Girls don’t think anything where you’re concerned sad sack!
Well if it's not because you just want to do it, why do you do it if your hairline is good?
@@Xtramedium1961 alright mateeee
besides, buzzing it also massages your scalp, feels great! helps your scalp breathe!
