Smart. I am not a barber but I do cut my own hair. and I do have thinning hair on top. And in front. and I used to like everyone else, Do the fade first and then do the blending, but it’s so much easier and faster to do it your way. Thank you for the great lesson.

I have a question. So if wearing hats does not cause hair loss, so then what does?
There are several factors for hair loss. Diet, medication, Illness, stress, hereditary and many other factors.
It’s called male pattern balding, it’s genetic. When you have too much of the hormone DHT it causes balding, not wearing hats or any of that nonsense lol. Finasteride/dutasteride will reverse the hair loss but most men don’t know this sadly.

Most comb or brush the hair the direction of its natural growth pattern. More then likely you are combing against the grain. It’s fine to do but it has to be over a certain length or else you’ll be fighting against gravity and what your hair naturally wants to do.
