The next year i will to start the college, if all is good i will become to a software engineer when i'm 21
That's the spirit! Best of luck, @Pablo!
This video gives me a warm feeling of satisfaction to realise how lucky many of us really are
This is cool, I'm always motivated seeing people with enough equipment to run SWE. I'm also learning software engineering through Alx and have a path skills I'm already in. Isn't really easy for me without well enough equipment and light stability in my country. But I keep on the challenge.
I'm also enrolled in the alx program! I'm finding it really hard and confusing without proper tutorials
Hi I am just starting with the next cohort this November... Can I ask how the journey has been
Finishing the day off at Alki bro love it
Hi Michael! I've been following you for a short time and I'm inspired a lot by you. My dream is to one day earn my degree as a software engineer.Seriously man, you are so amazing!!
Thank you! Best of luck in your journey as you get your degree as a software engineer ❤️
I am from Arts background. Can I learn coding or any programming language? By which language should I start learning programming language as a basic? What basic skills and knowledge do I need to learn programming language? Please suggest me
@@RakeshSingh-dy9gd Hi, I'd say, just keep your imaginations alive.. The software you want to build, the solutions you want to create, or even places you want to work.
It's not very difficult to find a language to learn once you know what you want to do, trust me.
And yeah!! you'll wind-up learning several after all.
Thank you for your inspiration!
you've made a really nice life for yourself and you're only 21! Keep up the hard work. I know I have a gift in computers and programming, I'm sitting on a winning lottery ticket that I never cashed in on. Life has its twists and turns. I'm 40 now, and the older I get the more I tell myself that boat has come and gone, its too late. But maybe not?
it’s not too late @keokio1. Find a niche in computers and programming and pursue it

GREAT JOB at LIFE young man! Pass it on when you can. These videos help.
damn this is difficult. I am at the same age, got distinctions in most of programming classes but yet to get a job. I am so hungry to be a full time developer.
Are you from Kenya?
@@itgamingke ofcourse . how did you get it?
Thank you for posting. 1st time viewer. Starting to learn how to code.
Great video! Keep up with the work bro! I'm in a pretty same situation. 21 years old, WFH, but as a Devops Engineer instead.
That's awesome!
Me too
How we can get WFH job?
@@muthyaladurgaprasad9118 Due to Covid, I guess :), I have been working in the office since January (since the covid has gone :))
Any suggestions to get backend development job I'm in final year of degree.
I'm also a software engineer and I started when I was 19 :) I work from home and in the office when I want.
Brooo you’re an inspiration to me
I’m glad!
you're living my dream dude, i'm still trying to learn and finish college, but i hope i can live and work in that way.
Awesome video! Love the different shot perspectives in the video. Btw, where did you get your vertical monitor? I've been looking for one for awhile now.
Thanks! It was fun experimenting w/ this type of content. I got the vertical monitor at a yard sale. It’s a 2019 ACER KA220HQ.
You can make any monitor a vertical one by changing the display setting to portrait
Right click on desktop > Display Settings > Orientation > Change from Landscape to Portrait
@@blonglee6328 yeah I've been seeing a lot of curve monitors these day and was wondering what flat screen model he was using
This Was A Really Enjoyable Peaceful To Watch Video!
Thanx
shit is so sad man. every time i get excited to see a video of someone who I think is like me, an average dude. I get so happy to see that they made it and are doing well. only to late find they always are people at the top of of their classes and go to the top colleges in the world. I am happy for you and you deserver everything but i just wish i could find someone like me do well, so i have a role model
lol, you're view on this industry is a bit jaded, I know plenty of amazing programmers that were C average CS students, non-CS related majors, boot campers, and even drop outs... and guess what ? most of them are well above six figures at this point of their career and/or working at top tier tech companies like this gentlemen in the video here.
@@BlazedOutTurtle well yea of course my view isn't going to be extremely educated. I just learned about this field a few months ago.
@the beast,
Thank you for your comment. Please do not judge your full potential after a few months of coding. You're not average. You're more than that. I know many stories of self-taught developers who are industry leaders today. Some of them are my mentors and I respect them and their journeys. Although we all may not share the same path to get there, eventually we'll all get there and that's all that matters. We're all gonna make it. Keep grinding, keep shining! Hi, I really liked your video. I am studying to be a Software Engineer, and I would be interested to know what set of technologies do you use for your work
Thanks for your videos :)
biggest dream of my life to get a remote front end dev spot and earn in dollars, I'm from Brazil and I'm graduating in software engineering next year. Congrats for your Chanel and for being able to get where you are.
Great video! I'm in my first year of college, majoring in CS for degree in computer programming and analysis. I play some coding games to learn python & later will be taking a beginner & advanced courses in Java programming in college. Any recommendations on how I can learn more of python? Did you do any certificate programs online?
what are the games you play ?
What coding games?

I have to study for NoSQL exam tomorrow but I encountered your video and watched it all. You've got my subscription :) I like your lifestyle. I have almost the same but I'm 22 and I'm working 30 hours/week and studying so my daily routine is a bit tougher than yours. I wake up at 7 AM tomorrow, go to uni until 1pm and then work for USA based company since 2 PM my time to 8 PM. I can't wait to finish the university...
Awesome video! :)
Hi, can I contact you through email or linkedin, I am also at the uni and about to get the job, I have some questions and you may have some feedbacks for me that I would be so grateful)

This is in fact the best job since you can work from home and sometimes slack off or do your own stuff without anyone watching you
