Hi, great and very informative video! It is about my boyfriend wnating to be a data scientist. Can i ask you some advice? And he finished the 6 month data analyst course at flatiron boot camp before 2 months. the boot camp introduced him a company and the company suggested him a bussiness analyst position of 56000 dollars salary. He wants this position very much. Im worried that this salary would be too low, considering his background 😭
I don’t know what a “normal” starter salary is in your country with such a degree. But think about it in long term opportunities. Data analysis is booming for now. He might start with a relatively lower salary but has a lot of potential to grow further in his career. This is not career advice btw, just sharing what worked for me
@@myownflow9887 As a starter you have 0 experience so you have to start somewhere. My starting salary was about €30k.. just know that business analyst is not exactly the same as a data analyst. OMMMGGG PREACH! The dashboard is showing you your own data, your issue is in the data. Man the daily arguments where people dont like the data thats actually their data.
Hello sir, I really enjoyed with your video. The coffee broll cracked me up, mostly because that's what my coffee making process looks like 😂😂😂 Also officially in love with Lola now, can we please see more of her 😍😍 I can't believe your cat goes for walks with you - that's life goals
Haha Lola is the best! Will create more videos with her.. and yeah she follows us around as soon as we leave the house haha
High quality video mate. Fun cinematography with the nespresso pods :-). I will keep watching. Good luck getting to working around the world with your gf.
Yoga is cool asf :D
The intro really had me burst into laughter
You've got a new follower man, you're so funny. I'm also a WFH person (Cloud Engineer). cheers
Tell us more about your data analyst side. I mean your professional and academic life. Did you work in big tech companies? Or what was your path to become a data analyst and a LinkedIn link in description would help us to get inspired more. 😀
Check out my latest video. Exactly what you’re asking for
@@Stefanovic92... yes went straight there after this video. 😁 Was insightful and great 1 too.
I like your energy and organisation.
Damn! I work with PowerBI too! Small world
80% of the time pointing out that it's the datasource that needs to be checked, haha
Yea I heard you mention it during the AMA but forgot to talk about it haha. “Your dashboard is wrong”
i loved the intro, laughed so hard my co-workers started staring at me.. thank god my manager wasn't here.. Also you know what, you 've earned my Sub 15 sec in the video
Fantastic video, great edit and really entertaining, thank you. Didn't catch much work there, I'm ready for this career change sir, you have inspired me 😂
I love your morning routine !!
In your day as a data analyst, how often do you apply mathematics and statistics? nice video👌
very often, but you dont go deep. Just a basic understanding is enough
Just discovered your channel! keep it up brother, quality contect. Obviously subscribed to the channel
I appreciate this video. I'm currently in my masters for school counseling, while working for an educational company. I always considered learning a "technically/STEM related skill" just to make myself more marketable even after I have my counseling job. Just something to feed into my more analytical side. I'm gonna check out more of your videos, was wondering if there a best path in terms of how one would get started to learn bout this industry?
I mentioned a couple of resources in my “how i became a data analyst” video
@@Stefanovic92 Just checked it out! I saw I was on the right track since you mentioned first learning excel -> then PowerBi (given that it's a stack). I think after I learn the ins and outs of those two, I'll move onto Python. I really appreciate the content, looking forward to the next video!
I love how you work in finance and still
Have time to play war zone and go to gym … might switch my major from nursing to finance.
I’ve heard nursing can be really stressful..but probably way more fulfilling than finance
@@Stefanovic92 yes or maybe 🤔 I could do both. 🧠 ⛈
If Timo Werner was a data analyst:
He will mess every chance
Nice video again, I loved the start, you def got me with the 6am start :P Subscribed
Really awesome video. Thanks for sharing. Although I'm really curious to know how you were able to be a freelance data analyst, as I am looking to start my freelance journey myself
whata hek bro...you r like "Neo" but with a better job and the apt is cleaner. damn! nice video Stefanovic
Like the vibe of your videos. Good to see you’re not skipping leg day too 💪 When are you quitting your job to go travel? Planning to do the same.
Thanks bro! Got my ticket booked for Bangkok on the 2nd of January next year!
When you were with your friend in the car you guys were listening to Sech, I didn't know you guys listened to him out there omg lol
This is fire 🔥 🔥 🔥
Thanks! Data Analysis is very interesting. Trying to build this skill! Great day!
Eughen lowkey joining for a workout at 04:57
It was legday. Therefore it can't be Eugen

Dude Amazing Video Quality!
I recently started watching you after your review and I can definitely see a huge difference. This was absolutely entertaining, relatable, and we are starting to see more of your personality.
I'm not part of Matt's course group (it's been explained prior through a friend) and I gotta say your fruits of your labor are showing! Great work!
PS. I don't work in the same industry as you, my husband does, so when I heard about the data and dashboard I had to pause the video, tell my husband about it, and busted out laughing because it's so freaking trueeeee!! Therefore, it was relatable to me. 🙌🏻
Thanks for the kind words! Glad you and your husband liked it. And glad I’m not the only data analyst with those problems 😅
Beautiful work life balance 🙌🏾
Data quality is very important... even more important than the analysis itself
True
Loved this video
Hi, great and very informative video! It is about my boyfriend wnating to be a data scientist. Can i ask you some advice? He has a bachelor degree in business and a master degree in financial counseling.
This is not career advice btw, just sharing what worked for me
@@Stefanovic92 i live in korea but my boyfriend studied in us and lives in us.
Isn't it too low in us?
@@myownflow9887 As a starter you have 0 experience so you have to start somewhere. My starting salary was about €30k.. just know that business analyst is not exactly the same as a data analyst. So if he wants to grow into a data analyst he needs to make sure he gets the opportunity to do si at the company
@@Stefanovic92 thank you so much!👍
OMMMGGG PREACH! The dashboard is showing you your own data, your issue is in the data. Man the daily arguments where people dont like the data thats actually their data.
Hello sir, I really enjoyed with your video. I want to become a data analyst too, and I have experience at a data science company for a year, and I have learned Tableau, PowerBi, mySQL, and Python (matplotlib, numpy, pandas). My question is, what can I do next? How can I compete with my competitors in the market? Finally, which SQL I need to learn (postgre, mySql or another) thanks in advance ! 👍🥰
Start with pimping up your Linkedin profile so recruiters can find you more easily instead of you having to look for them. Good luck man!
@@Stefanovic92 appreciate it, thank you very much. I will do that
@@kamransadigli5549 did you find a job?
@@AzzDesignHD yes, I found an internship program in a company, and started as a data analyst. I went there for 2 months, then left because of the university
This is the first video I saw of your channel 😅 fantastic 🥳
