Hey all! Hope you are doing good :) Here is how I color grade my videos using Lumetri Color in Premiere Pro. LMK if you have any further questions.
I know I'm 5 months late on this but as someone who is just getting into videography for ironically a trip to iceland this winter, this has been a lifesaver! All the other youtubers are just like "buy my course!" or "just kinda mess around with it till you like it". This is real information that I can use as a starting point. Well done sir!
Thank you, this is super helpful! I was given a video project that needed some color balance help. I’m not that familiar with video but I do all my work in Adobe products. This was simple yet in-depth enough to get me exactly where I need to be.
The luma vs sat is what I've been looking for forever! This is the perfect touch.
Finally! A well effective color grading tutorial, this was so valid to me, thank you!
I agree with all these comments. I’ve watched 10 videos on color grading, correcting and adding Luts and none of them have broke it down and explained well what I’m looking at. Thank you so much man this helps a ton
Really nicely done, and always great to learn a couple of new tricks. The last topic on masking was excellent.
Thank you so much. I love tutorials like this that take us through the process.
Your video was very informative, I've been struggling to learn how to color correct & grade properly, this video gave me so much information that I clearly lacked, thank you so much man
Thank you for this... Very helpful❤
thank you for this. seriously. this is gold.
best colour grading tutorial ever.......believe me ive watched many......love from ke
Very useful, thank you very much!
Thank you for the helpful video mate, best colorgrading tutorial I found on YT. Also u got a nice accent :)
very cool tutorial! easy to understand, Thank you so much! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Your accent adds a touch of class to this😂😂. The work flow👌
I like your videos a lot. Your are great teacher!
I needed this for a long time, thanks man!
Based on the title alone, this is the best color grading tutorial. You didnt use buzz words like "best" or "like a pro", just how you do it & why, which is all any tutorial can really be.
I am learning soo much from you that i am willing to watch all the ads fully without skipping.
Makes a lot of sense no nonsence walk through. Thanks very much
Just started getting into video edits with the R7. Thanks for the tips!
Loved this so much, thank you!
Thank you for this tutorial!! Just as I am getting into videography with my sony a6400 you bring these awesome detailed tutorials. I can't thank you enough!

manymany thanks my friend! GMGMGM hahah I wanna say it here too :)
@@thaticelandicguy GM to the maaax! Haha 😄
Getting back into shooting and I value your content a lot. As a fellow fair skinned "Is that your natural hair color???" man, I loved how your LUTs looked and snagged some of the non-free ones. Cheers from the midwest in America.
Yay, så bra att kunna se din workflow och lära sig av den!
Ha en fin vecka!
tack det samma! :)
Great video! I’ve become a big fan after watching a handful of your videos.
I shoot in picture profile HLG 3, do you have any input on this?
Also I always hear a mention of REC 709 being added as a ‘LUT’ or color correction on top of all the other edits. (Color correction, color grading etc) anyways you could shed some light on that subject or link a video that explains this
Thank you so much!
Happy you liked it!
very nice video and thank you for the valuable help in the correct use of the premiere. Can you tell me with what settings to videotape on sony a6400? (resolution, speed, profile, etc.) Thanks!
I enjoyed your video man, good job mate.
🙏
Great video, Thank you!
Thanks for watching 😊
Nice editing and additute keep up the good work 👍
Thank you, I just tried grading my video with your tutorial and it looks way better now
Great to hear!
This is some good stuff
This was very fun and pleasant thanks a lot 🤗
Happy you think so! ☺️🤘🏻
This is a stellar tutorial man, love how easy it is to understand and really enjoy the overall tone of it. Just recently found your channel as I was trouble shooting a project and they have helped immensely. The one question I have comes from the last bit with the second layer of color grading. Do you then animate that masking layer to follow the subject or just leave it as it?
hey thank you Randver! So that will depend on how you want to do it and how much effort you want and need to put in. If the subject is moving and you want it to be perfect, then you'd want to key frame for sure. In the studio I just keep it as is :) But for many 3-10sec clips that are moving and I want to make this effect, then I key frame.
@@thaticelandicguy Thanks for the reply and the insight, will keep working through your videos. No idea how I missed your channel this whole time. Keep up the good work.
Bit late to the party on this one but what a tutorial! 👏🏻 why can’t everyone make things like this as simple as they are supposed to be! 😒🤩
keep doing tutorial like this i love the way you teach.
Thank you!
Thank you for this! I tried everything to get rid of the orange tones in my video and I couldn't figure out how.
big thanks man!
No problem!

Man you are the coolest.🤘
Thank you 👊🏻🤘🏻
This is incredibly clear and useful! Thank you so much. Just subscribed! I am just starting to film bird and wildlife videos for posting on UA-cam. Getting into premiere pro is definitely a learning curve. This video will be an amazing resource for me, thanks again!
Thanks for your kind words! 😌 and happy to have you here Ryan!
Thanks for the tutorial, this was super helpful! Quick question: How much sharpening do you add in post, and how much detail do you remove when shooting in Cine4 or do you keep detail levels at 0?
-7
@@daliborskocic so -7 in camera and how much sharpening in post?
thanks shemus
From here on out, I am only shooting in Cine/Log profiles. My videos need to start looking more professional. Thank you so much for this video!
really appreciate it! :)
Great video!!! Just wondering which picture profile you usually use in your videos to reach those good color granding.
On my Sony apsc I mostly use cine4 😄
May I ask a quick question ? Do I have to asked each clip ? I have about 75 in the timeline. Is there a way to add the changes to all of the clips ? Thank you so much
Thanks
Np!
The best color grading video that I'll watch in 2022. I know this because I'm from the future.
😆🔥🚀
I got my first Sony LUTs from you 🤙🏻
thank you my bearded brother! :)
That's practical.
thanks!
QUESTION! : at the very end, when you discuss the lumetri color mask for the mask. when i made my circle around the face and tried to adjust the whites, the whole image still changed the whites (not just the selected area for the face). Why is this? Thanks for the great tutorial!
Takk vinur ,þetta er algjörlega að bjarga mér núna :)
Ekki málið! Gaman að sjá aðra Íslendinga hér 😊
DO I have to do this for every single stock footage video clip that I have on timeline? O.o
So good---clear, and I love your delivery. Wish I could buy you a cup of coffee and chat. ;-)
Many thanks 😊😊
does it matter with software you use to color grade, can you get the same look in premier as in davinci?
