Bro low key you have one of the best color grading skills in the UA-cam filmmaking community
Oh you're here🤔😬🔥🥳
No this should be high key bro 🙌
Thank you . Very good lesson
💯!!
Gradients: Most underrated colour grading tool EVER!

Was so exciting! Finally a real color grading tutorial (on UA-cam) than a LUT advertisement, Thank YOU.
Haha of course! Not big on LUTs myself
I agree, it finally happened 😀
So truu😂😂
@@AidinRobbins I having seen so many color grading tutorials on youtube. This was the only one that really helped me get my head around how color grading works.
I like how you showed the "generic travel influencer orange and teal look" and said NOT to do that hahah😂😂👌🏼
By now it's old asf and has nothing original about it, people should come up with their own interesting grades... like Aidin!
Also, your channel is gem 😂
@@siceastwood2714 Yeah it's been overused to death😅🤷🏻♂️
@@siceastwood2714 yo thanks mate! :))
@@teocrawford hope you remember me haha you and aidin are my inspiration!
The mistake I've been repeating for all my videos, I have never desaturated the tint in shadows and highlights, and never really thought the Luma vs Sat curve can be used in this way. Thank you so much Aidin!
definitely an underrated technique!
Man this was so good. I thought I was in school. Aidin, you could teach a class. For real! What I like about how you teach is that you don't just say move the slider, you show us how the slider changes the image. For example, you told us that artifacts are in the purple and blue side, and you show us how to protect the skin tones. This is awesome! I've watched so many videos on color grading, and nobody I've seen shared this and some of your other tips.
When you share tips with us like this, it helps me learn what is possible and how to do it. I don't want to copy your grading style, but understanding how to get certain colors helps me explore different grades to find my style. Thanks for your awesome videos.
So glad to hear that, means a lot! Always hoping to provide some permanent knowledge with these 💪
I think this is such a great overview of the process. I've linked to it in one of my articles on my blog. Thanks for sharing Aidin!

Hey studio setupber Big fan okay 😁🤞
"Give a Man a Fish, and You Feed Him for a Day. Teach a Man To Fish, and You Feed Him for a Lifetime"
This is gold. You teach me how to do it. Thanks Man, Thanks a ton!
Simply loved this!
I follow many of the renowned filmmakers. But I can say, Today, I watched the best ever color grading tutorial. Thanks a ton, Aidin. God bless you.🤗
desaturating absolute highlights and absolute shadows may be the single most innovative tip i've ever heard. This is why my shots look bad! Thank you thank you thank you!!
Glad it was helpful!
For me it was like... I know what that curve does, why I haven't used it yet? Implementing it RN!
You are such a great teacher. Because you go step by step and you show every panel of PP and the before / after. Wow! Thank you.
Bro... I think this is the color grading tutorial that anyone and everyone trying to understand color grading should see. I knew a lot of this but you explained it in such a way that it made me understand it on the spot as opposed to the hours of searching and video watching it took me to learn. Awesome awesome video!
So glad to hear that, always the goal! Appreciate the kind words!
man that`s incredible! probably the best tutorial on working with lumetri color so far. I`ll definitely apply some of ur techniques to my own workflow.
So glad to hear it! 🙌
Genuinely the best color grading video I've ever seen. No course to sell or wafty explanations. Just straight to the point! Thanks!!
I've been looking for a simple overview of colorgrading, and I've finally found it. Thank you, From explaining the scopes to the hue curves you've leveled me up.
Really glad this could help out!
You've explained you techniques in the most elegant way. You were clear with the dos and don'ts all while not making the viewer full away by the mistake they may or may not have made.
DUDE!!! This was by far the best colour grading tutorial on YT I've ever watched!!! You explained everything so clearly!! Love u man 👍 Keep up the awesome work!!!
Glad it was helpful!
This was legitimately the most helpful color grading/correction video I have ever seen. thank you so much!
As always, this is incredible! Thanks for all of these high value tutorials! I'll be sure to apply these techniques to my workflow in Davinci Resolve.
such an awesome video! Concise yet packed with so much information! Thank you for this!
This was such an amazingly helpful video. Thank you so much! Love the way you broke everything down and showed how it's used in practice. Thank you Aidin!
This has been on my “need to watch” list for a while, and I finally got a chance to watch this. Loved it. Explained a lot and a great place to start experimenting.
I never really comment on videos, but this one deserves one. This was very helpful. Compliments!
I always make such subtle strokes on the curves adjustments. Then I watch you take the hue vs sat and just completely bottom it out and I'm like "He can do that?! I'm allowed to do that?!?!" Nobody else is teaching this stuff as practically as you are my dude, and I've watched hours of tutorials, webinars, etc. I've got a year on you in age but you've got at least a decade of knowledge and experience on me. Crazy stuff.
Haha that's right! Always depends on the shot/style ;)
So far the best tutorial I ever seen. You really gave me the idea to start the colour grading in stead of applying LUT blindly.
The true way to color grade like a pro, hands down!!! Thanks man for showing an in-depth tutorial on how to first properly color correct and then apply color grading techniques that will help the world create truly unique videos!!!
I have watched countless youtube tutorial on color grading. This is the one that has actually helped understand how it works. Thank you so much!!
So glad I could help out!
this is awesome! I saw your video months ago on setting up the Lumix G7, which I ended up buying, and just now I am trying to wrap my head around colour grading instead of just throwing a lut on my videos and I found this from you! You seem so grown up now! Fantastic tutorial, the best I have seen and you made everything so easy to understand, thanks brother!!
Thank you so much!! I really like your looks. I just learning colors recently. Need to train my eyes hard to achieve a look similar to yours.
10 out of 10 tutorial. I love how you go so in depth and show examples. I feel like I should have to pay money for this lol. Thank you for taking the time to make this video and share your knowledge. It helps so many of us creators out. You are awesome brutha!!!!!! So glad I found your channel.
That luma vs. sat tip was actually so damn good. Don't even know why I've never used that before...
Anyone how has ever edited a video before knows how much work went into this
exactly and what do you normally use to edit?
Hey Man, I just want to say I've been following your content for a little bit, and I'm constantly learning more and loving every part of your videos. Thank you for doing what you do, it's appreciated :D
Instant sub man! I watched a ton of grading tutorials from all those famous youtubers, but this one's been the most useful so far! Thanks and keep up an awesome work!
This is, hands down, the most insightful video I've seen on this topic. Thank you! That Luma v Saturation tip just change the game for me.
This tutorial + Danny G.'s tutorial are really what I needed to finally understand lumetri colors. Thanks, man!
As a complete noob who wants to learn to shoot and edit better videos, this tutorial is just pure gold! Thank you so much for taking your time to explain everything so clearly, and I will definitely play around with these adjustments in the future.
Not only a very well explained way to achieve your style but a marvellous lesson on how to use many tools and tricks to get our own style. Simply what we need Aidin, huge thanks! P.S. I had so much fun following your advice step by step and making it mine in my own way
Dude, you're like one of the few youtubers who actually teach people their color grading process. Others just do basic correction and then slap in their luts midway to promote it. Good deal, this was really helpful.
I'm always excited for your videos
This was really good. I've watched nearly every tutorial and yours was very straight forward and easy to understand.
Thanks Aidin! Keep going💪
Dude this was the best color grading tutorial ever, you covered all the important stuff. Just found you and i love your channel man! Great job
Glad this was helpful!
I've never understood what those curves meant until I saw your video. Loved how you managed to breakdown what seemed like an impossible topic to learn into bite-size pieces. I sure am a lot clearer on the subject now. Thanks buddy!
Glad it was helpful!
thank you so much.this is what I need, I watch a lot of tutorial grading videos lately but your videos is really on point, subscribed!
Thank you Aidin, great color grading tutorial. I will apply it to my future work.
Amazing job explaining your unique process, thank you!
So helpful Aidin! Thanks!
Loving your videos bro!
Thanks, Aidin for explaining it in a very detailed and simple way. Stay Awesome.
WOW! FINALLY BRO! The tutorial I’ve been waiting for!!!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️
Being a pro - I get requests for "how to" all the time, and yours is the first tutorial video that is actually beyond good! Excellent tutorial for beginners. As good as it gets. No ridiculous jokes, no crazy intro that goes on forever, no music to interfere with trying to hear what you have to say - tutorial videos don't get much better than this. And the way you zoom into various parts to show what your doing is just tooo good! With no ego involved. Congratulations!
My personal atheistic nit-picking taste comment would be that I think you make your blacks a little to dark. But you did mention more than once that you grade to personal taste.
Video people like to do that because for them it feels more "film-like". But if you look at the GREAT films, they don't go quite as dark as you do. But that aside - you are an A-one teacher!
You are very talented!
This was one of the easiest and most informative tutorials I've seen, great job!
This is the best tutorial that I’ve seen on my journey! Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge to help the creators🙏⚡️Feedback from Brazil🇧🇷
Thank you for the most concise explanation of the various curves and how to use them effectively.
Your videos are a true delight!
IM loving your channel! congrats!
Thank you so much, I’ve been confused by color-grading on première for so long, and now you’ve answered most of my questions. Thanks so muchhhh
The perfect video on color grading! Thanks a lot!
Has to be literally the 1st time I subscribe to someone after watching just 1 video! Your tutorial is so simple yet so helpful instead of a lut advertisement as someone else mentioned! Well done!
This was the most in depth video I've seen on colour grading, I'll be using these techniques for the foreseeable future to make my videos the best quality I can. Thank you very much :)
Glad this was helpful! 💪
One of the Best color grading tutorial I have seen !!! I love your work Aidin!!!
Great video! I'm completely new to color grading, so this is going to be exciting for me to try!
Fantastic! Thank you so much. I'm coming over from a +30 year photography background, with a very well developed PS background, but PP is still tricky for me. Love you're channel.
Ive watched a lot of grading tutorials
But none of them was as detailed and helpful as yours
Keep it up man🤯
This was awesome!!! Thanks so much, I now feel like I finally have control over the colors in my videos!!! Priceless
Amazing sense of analyzing the needs of a color grading enthusiast.
the best color grading tutorial I've ever seen. Believe me I saw a lot! :D good job men!
This was just what I needed. Thank you so much.
SOOOO much to learn. Thanks a bunch bro!
On point ! Just what i was looking for
YES!! What a great tutorial mate! Thank you so much!
Yooo
Congrats on 200k subs!🔥🔥🔥
I have seen a bunch of tutorials on grading and that’s one of the most complete one! Thanks 😊
Glad to hear it!
wooooow, it seams it's allready been said by everyone but damn, this really is the best color grading tutorial i have seen! Not just showing how lumetri works with some exaggerated examples while trying to sound cool and professional. But really explaining why you do what you do as well as the limitations of the techniques in different cases. I mean, color grading is so tricky to learn and teach. because there ARE some rules, but they all have so many exceptions and a lot of it comes down to personal preference and a keen eye. you can't just tweak til the scopes look balanced and expect to have a grate look. In my experience it's often tiny changes that makes the colors pop, and it can be hard to understand why, but you see it when you see it! Your material here speaks for it self and i am blown away by the extreme yet so natural look you are able to create! can't wait to test out these techniques my self, and hope to see more in depth videos by you in the future! keep it up! :D
Absolutely magical
Your just fabulous ❤️
Learned so many new tactics
Glad you learned something!
This tutorial is just gold.
Thanks adin, really helpful.

You're definitely the best! Thanks man! Very clear explanation, straight to the point 🙏
Bother let me tell you this is pure gold. 24K. When every other channel out there is pushing LUTs down my throat you actually take a moment to explain the whole process. Keep doing your good work!
Honestly i had to wait a long time for it.I hope you come up with more videos of this kind of color grading..Finally, I want to say thanks a lot man
Wow! Awesome explanations! I learned even more than I was expecting to. Just subscribed!
