It looks like you are using magic loop in the beginning, but not once you get going. What size cord are you using?

It looks like you are starting with magic loop but when you get to the end of your ninth row it doesn’t look like you are using that method anymore. What length of cord are you using? I love this bag and would love to make it.
Hi there! I am using a 32" cord throughout the pattern. Once you get into the lace rows the stitches fit more evenly on your needles/ cord so you don't need to use the magic loop method at that point. Hopefully that helps!

Yea unfortunately this yarn has been discontinued. A couple good alternatives could be bernat maker home dec, we crochets billow, cotton blend no 5, or any weight 5 cotton yarn.
