I think so. I put the pattern in my Ravelry library. I'll probably make it next spring/summer. And I'll probably watch your vid a bunch more times. It's just so pretty!
I like the colors she chose as well, I’m knitting one of these now and I ended up going with the cream color and a smoky pink color instead of the green one but I love the green as well!!!??
I'm also impressed by how you can knit with markers in the same color and tell which one is the end of your round. I wouldn't be able to do that. I would have to use different colored stitch markers.

Hey, a scarf is a great place to start! It's where most of us start, in fact. With all the resources available today including youtube tutorials, ravelry, blogs, etc, I'm certain you could advance to knitting other things. Why not give it a whirl? :)
how long did it take you to make this? from start to finish? I have been working on mine for a week now and still not close to being halfway done with it
I read over the pattern, and I'm still a bit confused over where to put the stitch makers when starting to make the sides of the bag.

I'm still new to knitting....do I have to use circular needles for this or will regular knitting needles suffice?
You have to knit in the round so you'll need circular needles
Can you please do a tutorial on using circular needles? I've only used straight needles to do flat knitting. I want to make the jump to knitting on the round but I don't know where to start. I love your videos and how easy they are to follow.
Otherwise, can you recommend videos to check out? I know I could just search but I'm worried about being led astray.
Hey! I actually have tons of tutorials of me using circular needles that will help you. I would try watching my Thick Cowl video. That seems to be the most basic and easiest video in circular needles. Let me know if that helps! Good luck! I use circular needles all the time 😊

I’m knitting this beach bag right now and my only question is why is this pattern done so one handle is longer than the other one??!! Please advise me why this is!? But I’m thinking it is because of the knot that is made to connect them to each other might be uncomfortable if it’s at the top of my shoulder?! Either way can you please let me know if this is the case and thank you so much for the patterns you make accessible to all people who are not able to afford to buy them, touché lolol

Ok, so I’m making this bag, following your written pattern, and after the part where you have picked up all stitches on all four sides, 26 on each short side and 74 on each long side, the pattern says you should have 196 stitches, but 74+74+26+26 is 200, not 196. Will that affect the rest of the pattern?

You can for the bottom part, but you have to knit around the bottom part which needs to be in the round.
Since i live in Hawaii, we dont have materials in stores like in America. I wish we did though. Do you know anyone or seller who sells amazing knitting supplies for cheap?
don't you have Ben Franklin craft supplies any more? I used to live there and lived in the store too! This was on Oahu and also Big Island.

Uhm I live in Hawaii there's lots of resources for knitting and crocheting and such.. Walmart, Ben Franklin and more if you can't find exactly what you want then I'd go to Amazon or online. I bought my needles and yarn from Walmart and bought some Amazon knitting supplies.
How many skeins in total did you use for this project?
I know this video is over 3 years old, but hoping you could help. I'm confused about where to measure the strap length from. Is it from the first 50 stitches or higher up somewhere?
I am so confused. When I am at the step where you are starting to pick up in the middle of the shorter end and then go and grab 74 stitches this only does half of the bag. Am I also grabbing 74 stitches on the other side or am I only making half the bag at a time
I'm confused about where my markers go I've knitted my first 2 rows in the round but when you get to the second color I'm lost

The 74 row section wasn’t working for me. The colors would just weave together in each row
I ordered my yarn for this but I accidentally bought the needles with the wrong cord. The needles were the right size but the cord was the wrong length.
hi if i using 7mm instead of 4.5mm size of needle. what is the outcome different?
At round 2 & 6, do i need to make (k before 1st marker, m1, k1... pattern) to each marker or just 1st marker? thx.

ok, it looks like you start out on knitting on the wrong side on first row,, which she didnt say at the beginning after the cast on of 26
after you knit the first round with "11 st past the marker etc." and then you knit 3 more rounds, are those 3 rounds the same as the first, or just straight ?

Yes you can. As long as your circular needles are the same size or longer you'll be fine! It just can't be shorter than 24" Hope this helps! 😊
