I pray for the day when the Fireblade is priced like its Japanese rivals, as it used to be. Exotic pricing for a Japanese inline 4 just doesn't work. Sadly, it remains unattainable for the average sport bike rider as a result. That's why I bought a ZX10R. Would still like to see one on your channel tho.

I saw this bike at EICMA and I was blown away by how good it looks. Pictures really don't do it justice - the fairings, the livery and the front wings just all just look so much better than before.
Also to note, there is a non-SP version of this bike coming out (at least in Europe) that's listed on the Honda Europe website. The non -SP is listed at £19,999 (or $25,000 - this price will likely differ if it comes to the US) in the UK. The SP and Carbon don't have prices listed yet.

My friend has the 2020/21 fireblade and in stock form it was neutered. The USA version had dense foam inside the air ram tube, once he took that out, installed full akra system, air filter, HRC velocity stacks, and a tune his bike now is a beast. It may not have character like R1, RSV4, or V4, but it’s still a great bike.

when i buy a bike (track/street purpose) i look at the specifications and features mentioned in the video, but first and foremost i look at the body position on the bike, i.e M1000RR/V4 i sit in the bike whereas the CBR1000RR you sit on the bike, V4 is better suited for taller people and matches different riding styles on the track.

Mani be one of the first to get one I would love to see what you can do with this build.🙏🙏 I own a r1m but I am a huge Honda fan. They were my first four bikes. My first, 1998 cbr600 2nd 2000 cbr 929 fireblade that I got shipped from Canada to Puerto Rico when are used to live there . It’s was cool because I was the only one with a whole different color scheme, and the only one that actually said fireblade on the side of the bike because the European and the bikes that were shipped to Canada had a different color scheme from the US models. Then I got a 2002 CBR 600. In 2007 I bought my CBR Repsol. Because I was a big fan of Nicky Hayden. He just finished winning the championship in 2006 and the 2007 Repsol had his name and number on it. Would love to see you get this bike and do a build.🙏🙏

I think in our current era the most “special” of the super bikes are the RSV4. The Ducati and the BMW might have a more overall premium package, but Aprilia V4 bikes just have a more special and powerful feel to them that I think in the future people will look back at them as the bike to have.
As for the fireblade, it does have the most premium build quality of the Japanese inline 4s, but I think the ZX10R is probably the bike to get as it offers a high end package at a very good price. I have a Gen 6 ZX10R, and once I tuned it, it became an absolute monster. I’m sure the fireblade can beat it on paper, but the Kawi is just an animal for what you pay for it. Looks wise it can be divisive, but I love it , it’s so Kawi

I think it's the most trustworthy bike in terms of reliability, because it's Honda. But looks wise it's behind Ducati. The Panigale V4 looks a lot sharper, especially with its single sided swingarm, I mean even the V2 has a single sided swingarm, so I don't know why Hoda can't do it. I have the 2003 954RR Fireblade and it's incredible, but if I had $30K I'm not sure I would get the new 2024 model or go with Ducati for the looks, or even save a bit of money by going with the V2. In terms of performance and handling I havent tested either so I dont know, I have to rely on reviews to formulate an opinion.

I owned a CBR929 when it came out, I didn't like the looks after the CBR954. The 2024 1000rr-r still does not make me crazy about the styling. A ducati V4 or my BMW S1000RR, those turn my head every day. But sorry Honda, your styling just isn't cutting it.

I would be interested in knowing if the split throttle bodies can be turned off so it functions on all four cylinders all of the time, whether it be a function of the standard electronic settings or through an aftermarket ecu flash. I know that the function of the throttle bodies being an optional on or off setting are not brought up in any bike journalist review from Portimao so i guess it would have to be an ecu flash.

Will it be worth it? Really depends on the reviews and performance. I would guess it’s going to be close in price to a Panigale SP2 which is a proven winner. So do you risk going with an unknownish or spend the money on something that you know will perform? It’s going to be interesting to see the reviews for sure.
