Personally, Frank Quitely is my favorite artist. His art is so unique and tells a story of its own. His collaborations with Grant Morrison are masterpiece art

I definitely agree, from Comicbooks to manga.. the art style ranges from bright and colourful to highly detailed, contrasty and realistic looking. Modern day movies, cartoons and tv shows all draw inspiration from these artists.
