- We at 034Motorsport want to extend a huge congratulations to our customer Nate Prater in Georgia at Carolina Dragway for setting the fastest 1/4 mile time ever run for the B8/8.5 3.0T platform, with a 9.977 at 137.5MPH. This time was then backed up by four 10.0-10.1 second passes to show the consistent performance of Dynamic+ Tuning! Drag racing is a cornerstone of 034's beginning, and we love to see our customers hit the track and show what they can do with the power of Dynamic+ tuning, pushing the envelope of the platform!

it is badass, but was slightly dissapointed to see that nitrous was needed to break into the 9's. Maybe with a perfect launch and slightly more fine tuning it could be done without, but I assume that was squeezing everything out of it or else the nitrous wouldn't be necessary. Regardless glad to see a 034 car at the top.
It would be cool if you could go down the route of engine internal upgrades too. I’m sure you could get these done custom but it’s super expensive for this platform, you’ll be paying the same amount as the car doubled just to squeeze more horsepower out of it.
Its stock bottom end, stock heads, stock cams, stock displacement blower and it's in the 9s for God's sake. And it was only a 50 shot I believe. That's incredible.
@@BigMotorLover it sucks that one company wanted like $9000 for the bolton 1.7 blower upgrade.
i know, bougie tax and a smaller market but you could get a 2.9 whipple upgrade for a same era gt500 for like $3500.

How much does it weight ?
We don't have exact weight data but the owner had noted that the Seats (driver seat replaced with a Kirkey race seat), Door Cards, Spare Tire, and Rear Muffler were all removed

What’s the best pulley ratio 207mm or 200/57
207mm is great as it's just a crank pulley needed to achieve dual pulley ratios
207 with 57 not possible?
@@mihainegoescu6759 Is probably too much. A 3.6 pulley ratio is just too much, I'm sure the belt would start to slip on the drive pulley.

@@sdmc1972 I had another 2010 s5 Sportback before my current 2010 one and it drove a hell of a lot better. The gen 1 gearboxes are notorious for problems 😵
sometimes i see some hate for the dsg and i cant imagine why .i cant really see an auto shift any better than this one.i will say the manual shift mode on mine kinda sucks alot of times it wont let me hold it till redline.if i was to race someone i wouldnt use manual mode or the paddles id leave it in drive in sport mode and let it do its thing.thats probably my only complaint.other than doing the trans service being 200 bucks if you do it yourself. i have a 1le camaro 6speed manual and it takes a 20 dollar jug of atf and done and the rear dif takes a 16 dollar bottle of gear oil instead of 2 dif types of fluid that are 50 bucks each lol @@rot_v

@@mateoellner7908you can adapt a certain Walbro model to fit.. check Audizine. That was the old way people did it for track cars and such but I believe now there’s a more refined method

The shutdown zone is uphill, making the track look downhill. This is common on NHRA certified drag strips.
