On a B9 SQ5 (Dyno), slightly larger engine, 034 mid pipe made 4hp peak 0tq, after tune; 7-9hp gains depending rpm/power curve with a tune, @ a good 10tq increase. The 30% increase in sound was worth the price by itself. I’d say a 2.5 5 cylinder could have just as much power gain, especially tuned, as it has more power out of the box. I will post the dyno videos showing this by next month, at each step once build complete.

Just purchased the transmission mount insert as well as the transmission mount upgrade! I’m excited for them to come so I can install them.

I noticed that the oem Sway Bars require the final tigtening at "ride height". Any reason why the 034Motorsports version doesn't require this step and is there any benefit to torqueing your sway bar at "ride height"?

Do you need a new tune for lower compression pistons or will the ecu automatically adjust to make more power?

Do you need a custom tune to use the forged pistons you guys sell with the lower compression ratio? Or are they compatible with all tunes from stage 1-3?

Interesting.... A lot to do for just a third party blower with a very niche market, makes me wonder if there is something else in the works...🐌

Well mine is bone stock and cylinder 6 failed. 2022 B9.5 S4 with 30k miles

There is definitely at way to do it, like with our model y got a trial run that added 100hp peak, 50hp mostly under curve, only 3/10th off 60, little more in 1/4. However after market tuning not directly from factory can be directly monitored from dealer real time, I wouldn’t advise it.

Im currently with IE ECU/TCU but considering 034 bc IE doesn't have a stage 2 TCU to bypass the locked TCU... 2024 S5. Does 034 have a stage 2 for the newer model years?

Is this different than the 034 Res-X Resonator Delete and X-Pipe? Like can i use this new product and the one i just mentioned with the 034 down pipe?

lol wish I hadve known this earlier. I thought it was weird my tune would sometimes hit +/- high 20 degrees for ignition angle advancement. The car ran smooth 98.5% of the time and didn’t have a CEL so I didn’t worry too much about it. Fast forward a few months later and I just had the timing system overhauled since a guide decided it didn’t want to guide anymore one day after work.

Saw 2 newer style rockers fail with the larger needle bearings. One was a 22 Q7 and one was a 21 A8. However we service hundreds of cars with this engine

I received a notice from IE yesterday about the release of a product called AutoProtect for the 3.0T B9/9.5 which will lower boost and trigger a CEL if dangerous conditions are detected, namely with cylinder 6. Ironically, poor fuel quality was listed as one of the potential causes of these issues. Any comments on this software or if 034 tunes already have a similar safeguard?

If you guys can tap into a Rear BBK for B8s-B9s I guarantee everyone with an S4 will buy it. Voshmods had a kit but they disappeared completely.

Okay, this may be true in parts of the country that don’t experience winter. However, being from the Midwest, the “winter blend” of E85 and 93 are significantly different than the normal blend of fuel and much worse. You really have to be careful in the winter time with fueling.

In a teasing way, California fuel is already not as good as other states, so it has been a layer of protection 😂

Would clear premium (92 non ethanol) be a bad idea on a 91 tune? And yes, I have had a bad tank of fuel twice at chevron. Both times I got a tank full of water. It doesn't mean that chervon is bad, just that their tank was running low at the time.

Bringing my B8 SQ5 to South Korea and they claim the Octane rating is 91 for regular and 94 for premium. Do you have more technical data or experience with customers overseas? Last thing I want is knock knock galore after loading up the 93 file.

Hello 034, for your TT RS track car, do you run lower rear tire pressures than the fronts (as the factory recommends for the street)? If so, how much lower? Or does your suspension setup allow you same pressures all-round?

I've just had exact code on my mk4 focus st I had a new hybrid turbo . Every other day or two I get the spanner and engine light first thing in the morning. I can drive with no boost . Then maybe later when I start up engine the issue has gone and get boost as normal. So is it possible my electronic actuator could be faulty?? Any help would be appreciated

If I have the 034 lowering springs for my MK8 GTI - is it direct plug and play? I have 17,000 miles on the stock suspension and I’ve been hearing (1) replace all the hardware, mounts, and bearings or (2) the stock suspension is low mileage so just replace the one time use stuff like stretch bolts. What’s your opinion on the matter?
