As a manager for Jiffy Lube, and owner of an S5. The oil filter concern comes down to training. Penzoil Ultra is the only oil allowed in all Ferraris, also Mopar wanted to work with the best in the industry, so they collaborated with Penzoil to protect the supercharged Hellcats. Being a Tech with 20 years of experience I have a feeling the person who changed the oil filter dropped the filter in and then then slid the oil canister cap into the housing. Definitely talk to the manager of that location, be transparent by showing them this video, and you could help guide their team to be a better tech. Yo the best set up you can have is a fluidamp with a bigger sleeve saves your engine in the long run that’s what I run instead of 034 or IE but rest of my car is IE just my motor mounts 034

I am not in So cal. I’m in WA. However you should go to 034’s website and see what they have available for your car! More power and modifications don’t need less reliability.
I just got my very 1st audi ever and it's a 2012 A6 C7 bone stock. And the parts you used in this video are the exact things I want to put onto my car. It only has 84k miles and I daily it. I was on the fence about using PLM HE compared to the Merc Racing HE but after seeing this video and hearing how it sounds I will definitely be doing this. I have no idea when I will have time or money to even do something like this but I am hoping the next year or 2 I can have this done. Such a great video and you gained a follower.
I personally want a C7 A6 due to the superior ZF8 AL551 transmission! I do suggest the Mercracing heat exchanger over the PLM. It holds more fluid and flows better. Go for their S6 HX. Its huge! Make sure to upgrade the coolant pump to a CWA-150 from mercracing as well. If you dont want to spend the money, PLM will do the job!

So I live in Alaska, and the highest octane here is 90, is there anything none tune wise I can do to a s4 B8.5, because all tunes are rated for 93 and well obviously we don’t have that up here at all, so if there was any way to gain HP without going stage 2 with just simple bolt ons or something. I’ll keep the longer video idea in mind that’s for sure! Most car enthusiasts don’t know much about Audi’s I’ll be honest with you, including the pure power potential. I’ve caught too many bmw’s, mopar’s, and especially jdm boy’s lacking when they saw my B8.5 S4 leaving them behind or even my B9 SQ5! Audi’s are in their own interesting niche! Everyone expects a 300hp S class Audi, not a 450hp S class. Or a 450hp RS5, not a 750hp RS5 😉 I appreciate your comment a ton!🔥
Next time when you do an oil change just wait with putting in the new oil filter and closing it up. Leave it open and drain the old oil first, otherwise it's creating almost a vacuum and the old oil comes out much slower.. Oh, and just my two cents, great way how you hold you steeringwheel while stepping on it. Looks really safe😂
both my exact thoughts, yeah we got LOT more power now and slippery conditions lets hold the wheel in the dumbest way possible so if ANYTHING goes wrong we make sure we crash
Yup. bought a 2011 S5 Convertible. Buddy who sold me this POS failed to disclose that he only had cash for the Pully not a heatexchange.....fast for4ward 3 months, Both my Cats melted and the engine seized. I paid $13K for a donor engine (original only had 612K miles on it). We are now in court

An Intercooler is for turbo cars. It’s an air to air setup. A heat exchanger is a water to air setup. Usually used on turbo and supercharger applications.
How is an Audi S anything a sleeper lol. They’re pretty much all capable of a lot of power. You say yourself in the beginning of the video “in stock form it’s impressive what it can do”. Not sure why people throw around sleeper for everything these days lol. Build a real granny car.
Better flowing+larger inlet, bigger 5in filter with a built in velocity stack for improved air flow intake. A proper heat shield to keep hot engine air away from the intake. The build quality alone would make me want to install it. Injen and CTS intakes belong in the trash. You want me to keep going? 😇
@@spinnetti actually there’s nothing wrong with taking rational mass off of the rotating assembly/driveline. There are literally zero issues only benefits of minimizing how much mass the engine needs to spin.
Never ever take your vehicle to a quick lube place. I used to go all the time in my early years. After countless times at many different quckies I gave up. The amount of times the filter was put on too tight breaking the rubber seal, broken caps, wrong fluids, etc its just not worth it. Anyone with any mechanical aptitude are not working at these places.

The serpentine belt and supercharger belt are completely separate from the timing chains in the rear of the engine.

@@spinnetti actually there’s nothing wrong with taking rational mass off of the rotating assembly/driveline. There are literally zero issues only benefits of minimizing how much mass the engine needs to spin.

Never ever take your vehicle to a quick lube place. I used to go all the time in my early years. After countless times at many different quckies I gave up. The amount of times the filter was put on too tight breaking the rubber seal, broken caps, wrong fluids, etc its just not worth it. Anyone with any mechanical aptitude are not working at these places.
