- During yesterdays SCC500 Rolling50 1000 I have filmed a 1300HP Audi S4 B5 doing some drag racing against a 1500HP Bugatti Chiron!
The Audi is tuned by Hannover Hardcore and has now 1300hp and 1345 nm of torque. When the car is on race-mode and use E85 fuel he get the full 1300HP!

The difference in the stability at speed is incredible the Chiron looks like it's on rails and the Audi looks like it's on an ice rink
The chiron was built to sustain speeds like those from the factory unlike the S4. Still impressive how it can hold up against the chiron.
Downforce plus the S4 was never designed for extremely high speed.

3 years later and I still come back to watch this Audi. 340km in a b5 is no joke. Probably one of the baddest ones ever built tbh. Also very streetable/sleeper

I think the biggest difference is when the Audi driver is working hard and sweating blood during the drag race The Bugatti driver is eating a Cheeseburger meal while driving

I think it was a rolling race, they run at a max speed of 50 and then they hit full throttle after they reach a cone or sthg
Its only a max speed race. Starts rolling from 50kph and who crosses the laser at the end of the strip with the highest speed, wins. Time is irrelevant for the run.
3 runs. 1 win for audi, 1 win for bugatti and third win for audi again but the bugatti somehow aborted this run midrace.

Difference is that Bugatti could probably do that all day for a week and the Audi can probably do it a handful of times in one day and need an engine rebuild.. Audi is impressive but the Bugatti is an engineering masterpiece
I partly agree, what you can’t see is, this Audi is not just a car. It’s Tuning perfection in every way. The dude who own it is building on it for more than ten years now, he is able to take out the engine in under 50 minutes on his own, cause he did it so many times. He even ordered handcrafted carbon fiber washers and titanium bolts, he even rebuild the whole trunkdoor out of carbon and kept the original clearance, even though the clearance stock wasn’t fitting 100%. Everything to let it look as stock as possible. I tell you man, that’s the most passionate car you will ever see in your life. His name is Phillip kaess btw.
i agree with both of you. the audi driver completely remade that car and build it himself with his own money blood and tears. it's a very nice car and an ultimate sleeper, obviously planty fast too. the chiron on the other hand, well everything about it is an engineering masterpiece. the engine, transmission, the whole car actually never needed to be so big and heavy, but bugatti wants stability, elegance, comfort and safety. ever heard of a bugatti breaking down? probably not, now yes they aren't the most driven cars around but still a 16 cylinder engine won't even stress that much to output 1500hp. i think i watched a video once where bugatti said their engine is capable of over 3000hp which is amazing. i think they are also very held back with their tests, because they seem to really like to do everything the safe way and until they are aboslutely sure the car can do it (unlike the other companies, they just yolo their cars into the future). i love everything about both of these cars

Sadly the Audi burned Down because of an oil leak, he is now building a new one with more power. If you want to check him out, his name is Philip Kaess (It’s sadly all German) . He also got other Projects like a Twin-turbo Lamborghini and a 400hp Abarth.

Two interesting facts about the Bugatti Chiron is 1. It has to do 200 launches in one day without breaking down or the manufacturer will not ship it to the dealership they will have to rebuild it 2. You know the red light strip across the back of the car will the people at the Bugatti manufacturer and dealership call it the kiss yes the light on the back of the Bugatti Chiron is called the kiss they call it the kiss because if you ever race it it's the symbol a kiss goodbye because you ain't catching up to it and that's all you're going to be able to see

I think the most interesting thing was to see how the Chiron runs like it is on rails while strolling down the strip, whereas the Audi looks like it is wrestling with the driver over control. Thats where some of that 7 digit production cost went...
So, nobody gonna comment about the fact that the ferrari at the end looked badass with that sudden entry and throttle.
