- On July 2nd and 3rd 2011 the Southern Pacific 4449 made two trips from Portland, OR to Wishram, WA to raise money for the Friends of the 4449 and the 4449's 15 year inspection.

Absolutely perfect! My dad and I were lucky enough to catch a ride on the July 3rd run. The whistle also sounded INCREDIBLE during these trips. Also, is it just me or did she seem to be cooking along a fair bit faster on the mainline during this trip than on the Deschutes trips?
