    For the wheels I recommend applying a "Radial Blur" for a very realistic rotation effect.
    Thanks for the tutorial!

    Only thing I would say is that the wheels would not be in focus in a panning shot. Other than that ace tutorial

      @@hakunamitatas8525 same technique with masking, but apply a radial blur to the wheels

    What I do is use 'Select Subject' (in the select panel) and then invert selection. This way you just blur out everything around the car.

  • @jonwolff
    @jonwolff 2 роки тому +3

    Remove the car from the blur layer first and content aware fill it. Then proceed with the blur steps as you have done and you won't have the odd car blur hanging behind it

      Yep, that's the move. The result of this video's method was unconvincing with the ghost of the car.

    Great tutorial thanks 👍, looks really good, just the wheels should be blured if using a low shutter speed to pan.

    Can't really do it unless you composite in a brake caliper since those dont spin with the wheels.

    Could you recommend me a good 80-200mm lens for a budget price?

      for Sony? The Tamron 70-180mm f/2.8 Di III VXD is a great lens for less than half the GM price. Great optics and small form factor for a 2.8 zoom

    Great tutorial, but there are much easier ways to do this, and faster with a cleaner outcome. Not a bad method tho! I do however prefer to just land the shot, it is much more satisfying

    If you're going to go to the effort of faking it. At least mask the car properly to avoid the ghosting :/

    Yes; needs a circular motion blur on each wheel; unless you want the viewer to think that the brakes had locked up? Nice try though.

    The wheels are indicating this is fake. You should apply a rotational blur to the wheels.

    You missed a step, the background should not have a blured car.

    looks like a fake photo that was edited in 5 minutes. A good fake needs a little more editing. Both the car and the background look flawed.
