victoria 2 is always worth returning to, try the TGC mod or something like the MHM mod. but if you just don't like the genre, then fuck it. play what you enjoy.
I love map games just don't like just making solely map videos I get bored very easy thats why I have hobbies that range from map games to playing Bass to snowboarding. I'm not good at any of them but my attention span is that of a fly lol

Making a career off of UA-cam/twitch is real hard, and if youve hit the stage where theres no joy in trying to make it work then stopping that makes sense. But, if you enjoy any part of content creation, theres no shame in continuing but with games you really enjoy and sharing it with people- you owe the internet and youtube nothing, and transitioning from counting and pushing views to just a hobby isnt running the channel into the ground, its just a change in what the channel means for you. The only thing that ultimately matters is you and what you want to do.
I like making videos it just feeling stuck to one game will bore my very quickly, and on a more personal note I just didn't want this channel to be like those channels that have like 200,000 subs and every video just get like a 1,000 views such things oddly set my OCD off and that kind of controls my life lol. Also getting the will to edit a video, dear god shit takes my like a week just to sit at my computer and stare at the edit screen for like 6 hours. But thank you for the kind words my good sire!
