the doctor and companions sharing one brain cell

- hello sweetie
i had some problems with sound in this video, i hope you won`t hear them eheh
aand i understand that there are so much more `one brain cell` moments and i am sorry that i can`t take all of them
fandom: doctor who
thanks for watching!!
The Doctor only has the brain cell on average 25% of the time, the companions have it 25%, and the other 50% is shared or lost
absolutely true
Definitely true
sad but very true
Yep
I belive The TARDIS has the other 50%
"do something you're a doctor"
"YOU'RE A DOCTOR!"
"It's okay we're doctors!!"
**Attempts to catch a baby from a standing laboring woman**
Tbf, given how timelords "reproduce" I dont think they teach traditional labor in medical school.
@@Timeward76 doesn't seem like it
Labour in that position would actually be easier because gravity.
@@LokiLoverForever99 I met a midwife who said that was how she helped mothers in labor. She said the gravity did actually help a lot.
That's usually how to do it in the old times...
Wouldve hurt a lot for Amy though...
Rory is one of the few companions who managed to keep his brain cell all to himself
Mickey lost his within five minutes of being on screen
@@BirdieNoodleI’d say 2 minutes actually
He wasn't the doctors companion. He was Amy's companion.and her brain cell
@@lovinavargas-carriedo2698so accurate
Exactly
“She cares so I don’t have to” is the absolute truth though. That’s the whole reason the Doctor takes a companion
I like the way he absolutely owns 'she's my carer'. It should be a thing, that carers are reveered. They deserve more respect (and pay, if I'm to be honest) than we give them as a society.
Rory saying "Shut up Hitler" is one of my favorite moments in Doctor Who
That and him putting Hitler in the cupboard is truly hilarious. Oh to be a fly on that wall.
Yeah it is one of the best scenes!
@@arthurmartin4616 And Hitler remained in that cupboard for the rest of the episode and was never seen again 🤣
"There's a kind of banging in my head"
"Yeah, that's probably Hitler in the cupboard"
Yup! 🤣
During 12's reign, Nardole had the braincell 50% of the time, Bill had it the other 50, and the doctor just kept all of his thinking skills in his eyebrows
“attack eyebrows! you could- you could take *bottle tops* off with these!”
@@BirdieNoodleLMAO ATTACK EYEBROWS
@@Wh0v1an 10's Eyebrow is the Acrobat. 12's Eyebrows are trained commandos.
Ten and Donna are just David and Catherine but in front of a camera. Change my mind.
"Tardis, Time Lord, YEAH!"
"DONNA, HUMAN, NO."
Which is to say absolutely
David and Cathrine are the British versions of Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackine- Two sets of friends who's characters bicker in the same way the actors do.
but are ya English tho
Scrooge McDuck and Magica DeSpell!
@carolinemcgovern4488 I'm trying to picture SS and AM in a Tardis, and they'd crash the thing immediately. Absolute chaos. All while accusing the other person of pushing the wrong button or pulling the wrong lever.
Doctor and Donna are legit the best duo ♡
absolutely ¡
Imagine 9 and donna-
@@charlie-yp2oq 12 or 13 would be the most chaotic with her for opposite reasons
Eleven with the Ponds is also one of the best for me xD
@@Homoparanoia lol yea
"It's okay we're a doctor."
It sounded like “we are doctor”
Singular. Meaning alone they represent half a Doctor....
Holds his hands out to catch the baby
@@thomashall8701 considering timelords mostly reproduce artificially by being essentially sewn into existence I'm not surprised gallifreyan schools dont teach the old ways lol
Communism intensifies
Fires of Pompeii is now officially a multi-Doctor story and you can't tell me otherwise.
Multi-doctor and multi-companion.
It’s been a multi-doctor story since it first came out
It’s actually been stated that he regenerated with that face specifically as a reminder to “just save someone”, which is what Donna told him that led him to saving the man in the first place.
Mann of Dober That's what I thought when I saw the 12th doctor: "he's that man from Pompei!". 🤣
And we will just pretend that he wasn't also working for the home office in Torchwood...
“Yes she’s my carer, she cares so I don’t have to”
I forgot he said that 😂😂😂
Everyone else: “it’s bigger on the inside then it is on the outside!”
Clara: “it’s smaller on the outside then it is on the inside!”
Me: “it’s not square on the inside, whoever designed this is crap”
Nice
can i use this for my doctor who fanfic
@@wattpadwriter5416 can i have the name please
me: it's the opposite of Spongebob's house! square outside and unknown on the inside.

'Oi watch it space man!'
'Oi watch it earth girl!' Still makes me laugh😂😂😂
i cant tell what he said after
How do sum up the 10th doctor:
An over dramatic cat
A reckless drama queen indeed
No wonder he hates them so much x'D
is there anyway to like a comment more than once, if any of you please tell me lol
@@katarinabrunk8698 well you kinda just... you just comment twice
Idk how else to explain it
Who doesn't like cats. But sometimes he does, it's weird
Reading the title My brain immediately went to
I THOUGHT YOU SAID BLUE
I SAID NOT BULE
Yeah, that belongs here. So does the time when the Doctor was clueless about the location of a huge, circular transmitter. While standing in front of a ferris wheel. 🤷
@@missnaomi613 ‘while standing in front of a Ferris wheel’ 💀
I know you didn’t just call the London eye a Ferris wheel
@@obiwankenobi687 uh-oh, I've never been there and am ignorant of the landmarks. Someone had a little fun at my expense, apparently.
@@obiwankenobi687 I mean... It is.
What I thought of was the episode with “The Wire” or whatever that alien was, during 10 and Rose. Where they knocked on a persons door and when they answered, both 10 and Rose said, in unison, “Hi!” with big dorky smiles on their faces.
Their reaction when they realised they accidentally saved Hitler's life 💀
And then Rory proceeds to stuff him in the cupboard 😂😂😂
Everyone else: “It's bigger on the inside!”
Clara: “It’s smaller on the outside!”
Bill: "It looks like a posh kitchen, all metal."
Bill is such an underrated companion. I love her!
Wilf: "I thought it'd be cleaner!"
Meanwhile _my_ brain cells as I watched this:
The Ponds are my favourite!
Changed my mind its Martha Jones
Neverrrrmiiind its Rose and MiKeY
Nope, gotta be Bill and Nardy, for sure.
Deeeefinetley Clara Oswald.
Ok... but what about the wifey, River..?
100% the man, the myth, Captain Jack Harkness.
Yeah.. but like Donna... she's an icon!
I _do_ really love "the fam" though dont I..?
my brain cells while I was doing this video
I change my companions top like twice a week, but donna and river are my favourites always eheh
I like all of them!!
@@nanaowl3835 lol I love them all! but Yaz and Clara take the top spot for me.
@@thedragonsunicorn they are cool!!
This was me too.
The only fam member I liked is graham
I always love the Doctor being excited for the "It's bigger on the inside" moment, so Nardole sharing in the glee was delightful. "He-hey! We got there!"
*"Stop talking, brain thinking, hush"* is my new catchphrase
"She's my carer, she cares so I don't have to" - god, I loved 12's early grumpy persona so much and the arc he had throughout his 3 series is easily the best of all modern Doctors.
Doctor is brilliant :D
"-This is Clara, not my assistant, she's.. some other word.
-I'm his carer.
-Yeah, my carer. She cares so I don't have to"
Subtle Nostalgia critic reference too much?)
Donna and 10 had such a laugh together. I know a lot of people never liked her. But it was nice to see 10 having so much fun after Rose.
People don’t like Donna? Apart from Amy(with Rory as an occasional sidekick) and Clara she’s the best ever.
Who couldn't love Donna? Best companion ever! Not least of which because she's the only one until Rory who didn't want to boink the Doctor at any stage. She actually had a personality.
Donna is definitely my fav
who didn't like Donna?! I'll sic Donna on them
People are insufferable, they don't like ANY partner after Rose. Which is strange because I find her the least interesting of them all.
The doctor and Donna was the best duo in my opinion
No is opinion, is a fact.
Agreed
The Doctor and Rose in mine.
Yeah definitely, I like that there was no romance
I'd have to say the Doctor and Clara best duo! Donna is a close one though!
I feel like Martha was the only one who didn’t purposely do something without the Doctors consent. Love her so much
Agree, and to my opinion she has eternal trust to him from the first yo their last encounter unlike the others comapnions
Well, there was that time during The Sound of Drums when she's about to call her family to warn them of The Master's machinations, Doctor says, "don't tell them anything," and she just shouts, "I'll do what I like!" I mean, during that whole sequence when she tries to rescue her family, she's basically rebelling against The Doctor. I can't remember if there are any other moments, but that one stood out to me.
@@theblackwidower I would call that a hick up and she wasn`t like doubting his decision it was more like a moment of terror and fury for her family safety still she trusted him completely till the very end
Sure got kidnapped or launched into space a lot though and the resulting guilt and need to rescue her often very nearly got The Doctor killed and incapacitated so she then had finish the adventure herself.
“She’s my carer. She cares so I don’t have to.” My absolute favourite line.
Always loved when the Ninth Doctor complimented Capt. Jack on his plan
Nine has such a great smile. Oddly, he reminds me a bit of Stan Laurel with that smile!
4:01
Rose: Oh, if you think there's going to be trouble, we can always go back inside and try somewhere else.
Doctor:...
Rose:...
Both: BWAHAHAHAHAAAA!
I love this 😂😂❤️❤️❤️
if I remember correctly the writers put that in there as basically a reply to vewrers who say/complain "why don't they hop back into the TARDIS and leave" in situations like that episode, don't quote me on this I just read it from someone on a different comment section lol
And then again with Martha in Utopia
Doctor: We should go.... We should... really.. really... go...
Martha:.....
Doctor:.....
Doctor: *grins* and runs outside
The best part is this is how the two part episode where they literally kill satan himself begins
You do know that Capaldi telling 10 and Donna that they look alike is foreshadowing the DoctorDonna at the end of the series right?
Omg, yessss!
Someone who the Doctor will look like tells the Doctor that he looks a lot like another person who will have the mind of the Doctor.
The way I see it,the show is like hyping them up as adopted siblings.I think something similar was said in Planet of The Ood.Wilfred also said he's like his son,and there's somebody who said that the Doctor considers Donna her sister in a guide book.
You know I love so many of the companions with the doctor, but 10 and Donna are just special.
"I could get a sofa! Imagine me with my own sofa! I could get a purple one... and sit on it"
"Am I being weird?"
"A little bit, yeah"
This is how I’m using my brain cells...
Oh, you too? Same braincell then Mate 🤔
"She cares so i don't have to" i'm dying
Jack- *says forever alone*
Me- are you sure about that
*Cries in Torchwood*
Cries in Ianto
I’ve listened to a big finish thing about him and Alonzo, really great, too bad they ended up about four light years away from each other, but they had to do something because of Jack’s love interest in Torchwood
@@DrWho160, yeah. They would’ve been great
Alonzo has entered the chat lol
1:57 it's funny because they are LITERALLY sharing braincells
Yeah, more than before in that Episode because Donna got reincarnation Energy (probably by accident) and then metacrisis got some aspects about her personality😂
"stop talking, brain thinking, hush" has entered my permanent vocabulary.
I love Donna's theme. Such a great "mystery sitcom" feel to it and Donna was one of my favorite companions, she just took some time to grow on me
That last clip of Donna and Ten literally dying from laughter is absolutely iconic
1:40 plus the fact Martha’s using the stethoscope the wrong way round 😂
(they go into the ears the other way)
oh wow
I have never noticed¡ now it's even funnier ehehe
thanks for saying that!!
Does it matter which way round it goes?
@@jayyharper3679 Yup, you can't hear shit when they're the wrong way around. Source: been there, done that.
Lmao why does this go so well with the clip🤣
Lol maybe they did it deliberately so that Freema couldn't hear anything for real XD
4:06 They say, a couple of hours from meeting actual satan.
The TARDIS is alive which makes 6:57 pretty funny.
*snap* open *snap* close *snap* open
Tardis: **MAKE UP YOUR DAMN MIND!**
"I'll see you when I see you." "Whens that?" "When I see you."
All I kept imagining during the "I'll see you when I'll see you" scene was at some point, the TARDIS making a projection of Idris appear in the room and go: "-Open or closed, whatever you decide, but stop playing with my doors!"

God I miss Donna so much. I’ve been watching DW with a friend of mine and he was like “yeah I don’t really like Donna” and I was so surprised like they’re one of my favs. Rose is nostalgic for me I miss her
well
Lol "its ok were both doctors"
12: this is Clara, not my assistant she's some other word.

6:30 I wish you'd left in "is this really important flirting!"
That is why the doctor need a companion, when a companion goes away they take the braincell with them
“are you confused?”
“pretty confused.”
“proper confused”
“i’m way beyond confused.”
🤣🤣cracks me up every time

The Doctor and Clara: **arguing**
The Tardis: *so, are you gonna walk out or..?*
i was just thinking that, the Tardis must've been thinking about whether or not she should just stop responding
I love that the TARDIS listens to Clara. Only companion that she talks/listens to.
sHE CARES SO I DONT HAVE TO THAT IS ICONIC
it is an experience like no other to see a 100% different cast each scene and, know that one of them is the same person every time.
I wished more series would do this "become unrecognizable every so often" type of heros.
i wish they expanded more with rory being a nurse.
"I'm way beyond confused"
God damn it, Graham 😂
The Doctor did actually use the Sonic to unscrew a screw once.
That being said, it was called a "Sonic Lance" at the time.
@Kat Holland I'm pretty sure that's the episode I'm talking about - I remember that it was a 2nd Doctor episode, at least.
1:06 looks like they used the toy version of 4's screwdriver lol
